Can't beat the location! The highlight is the rooftop terrace, where you can enjoy the sunset with drinks you bring up from the bar downstairs. Rooms were nice, but small even in relation to my expectation of a small room in central Rome. Storage was particularly challenging. But the loaction can't be beat!

I loved this hotel. The location is central and in the heart of Rome. I walked to the Vatican, to S Maria Maggiore, Colloseum and to the Trevi Fountain from it. Staff were extremely helpful in sending me a copy of my child's passport quickly, to secure youth entry to the Colloseum. The breakfast had a great variety of hot and cold options. Room servicing was great too. Thr truly memorable feature was the roof terrace, with almost 360 panoramic views. I'd definitely stay there again if i were to return. There's also great places to eat out, in close proximity.

Wonderful, helpful staff, nice location by the Pantheon, pretty rooms, bar on the roof with a view. Did I mention friendly staff? Nice housekeeping. Would stay there again in a second!

Amazing location and well kept hotel. The only issue is their tiny elevators and some of their rooms are difficult to get to and should give you the option of easy access rooms for people that are older.

Mostly enjoyed my stay here! It’s in a convenient location, however, it was a bit noisy. Most of the time, the noise tamed down by 11-11:30. It is a very popular area due to the Pantheon so this didn’t bother us a ton. The elevators do take a while, so I’d recommend the stairs if you’re on a low enough floor. The shower in our room was a little inconvenient since the door was slightly too small for the above shower head. Staff did come and replace all towels every day so the ones we threw on the ground were always replaced. The breakfast in the morning was very good. There was always a staff member at the front desk. I also appreciated the safety measures the hotel takes considering how busy the Pantheon area is. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel.

Het ontbijt was van top-kwaliteit. Er was elke dag een soort van basis, maar er werd daarnaast ook gevarieerd. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het mini-appartement was ruim (voor een mini-appartement) en was rustig gelegen, aan de achterkant van het hotel. Leuk dakterras, met bar (open rond 16 uur, bij mooi weer). De ligging nabij het Pantheon (en overige bezienswaardigheden) was adembenemend!!!

The location of the hotel is excellent. We found it to be centrally located near every major attraction in Rome. Access to public transportation was only minutes away and within walking distance. Restaurante and shops were all around making it easy to find dining options. Are only minor issue with the hotel was there was no room service or gym. But those were minor inconveniences for this lovely, situated boutique hotel.

Everyone and everything about this experience was fabulous. Every staff member was courteous and friendly. The hotel was spotless. The housekeeping staff was thorough and efficient. The breakfast staff was wonderful. The breakfast itself was very good! Coffee was insanely good for hotel coffee! The front desk staff went out of their way to assist and accommodate. We will definitely return!

Excellent location, excellent service from the entire staff. Room felt slightly dated and the corners were a bit dustier than I’d like but not a deal-breaker by any means. Bathroom fixtures seemed recently updated. Free (but basic) continental breakfast is a plus.

The location of the hotel is exceptional. The hotel is facing the Pantheon which definitely is special. There is a rooftop where it offers a nice view at night. Unfortunately, the hotel cleanliness is poor. The sink drains poorly and there is also fungus on the toilet holders. The grout also shows lack of properly cleaned and maintained. Overall, it is still a good hotel for perfect location and view. But if cleanliness is your priority, it will not be the best choice.

Most of the listings show that the Albergo Del Senato is about a three minute walk from the Pantheon. It will only take that long if you add the time to catch the lift to get down to the ground floor, the Pantheon is literally outside the front door. That was our first surprise. The second was our room, small but perfectly sized for our three-day stay. The room had a tidy bathroom, comfortable bed and an amazing view of the Piazza della Rotonda and the Pantheon. If you go during summer, the roof terrace will be open as well giving fantastic views across the centre of Rome. Our only complaint, and it was minor, was that the pillows lacked support. This is a perfectly located hotel. We were in Rome to celebrate a wedding anniversary and a birthday and planned to see the key sites. From the hotel’s location, you will not need transport to get to the most central attractions; The Vatican, the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps are all easily walkable. I plan to go back to Rome and I will definitely try to book the Albergo Del Senato again, I’ve already recommended it to friends and family.

Came here for 3 nights to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. The hotel is right at the heart of the Pantheon, offering great views from either a room or the upstairs bar area. The staff are really helpful and the hotel is really nice. Breakfast is the usual what you would find in Europe. The only problem we had was no Air con, room was constantly at 25 degrees and the toilet water was costantly going. We did mention this but nothing was done. I have tried to add the view from my room but its not working.

The room was amazing, beautiful, immaculate and corner windows overlooking the Pantheon (great soundproofing too). The staff were lovely, breakfast was lovely and the location is great. But it was the small touches that made it special, chocolates on the pillow and putting our slippers out at night are just two examples.

They kept turning off the air conditioning by some master control. We would wake up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and have to call them to turn it back on. They would barely pick up the phone when we called reception and had to call repeatedly. Also, they don’t offer any complimentary water bottles in the room or at breakfast. They told me to drink from the bathroom sink. Very rude at front desk. Oddly asked us to leave our passports with the front desk and put room keys whenever we left the hotel.

They told me to drink from the bathroom sink. Very rude at front desk. Oddly asked us to leave our passports with the front desk and put room keys whenever we left the hotel.

The lady at the front desk was very helpful. Unfortunately, she was the only friendly person working there. The male desk clerks were extremely rude. The room was quiet and the breakfast was good. Location is right next to the Pantheon so it is very crowded. If you know your way around Rome & don’t mind the rudeness it’s an ok place to stay.

The staff is the BEST! Polite and helpful in all ways. Rooms are spotless and comfortable, location is amazing and convenient with the Pantheon right in front of the hotel. Excellent dining, shopping, art and history at the hotel doorstep. We have stayed here three times and will always return when we come to Rome.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included which offered many options. I booked private tours online before our stay.Julia made dinner reservations for us at great restaurants. She also made private car transportation from the hotel to the cruise port. This was a 3 day wonderful experience for us.

Everything was excellent, breakfast and staff. You walk out the hotel right in front of Pantheon. Very close to all major attractions: Trevi Fountain about 8 min, Spanish Steps about 15 min, Colosseum about 35 minutes and also Vatican City about 30 minutes.

Mostly enjoyed my stay here! It’s in a convenient location, however, it was a bit noisy. Most of the time, the noise tamed down by 11-11:30. It is a very popular area due to the Pantheon so this didn’t bother us a ton. The elevators do take a while, so I’d recommend the stairs if you’re on a low enough floor. The shower in our room was a little inconvenient since the door was slightly too small for the above shower head. Staff did come and replace all towels every day so the ones we threw on the ground were always replaced. The breakfast in the morning was very good. There was always a staff member at the front desk. I also appreciated the safety measures the hotel takes considering how busy the Pantheon area is. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel.

Amazing location, right next to the Pantheon and walking distance to Piazza di Spagna and Fontana di Trevi. Great food options, tons of cafe' and restaurants to choose from. Room was great, clean and quiet. Staff very helpful and kind. We will definitely come back!

A very nice classic hotel with charm, a friendly staff and good service. The only downside is what should be a big plus - it's right on the piazza facing the Pantheon, and the crowds of tourists are overwhelming. Obviously not the fault of the hotel, and the central location is very convenient, but the the mobs of people, at least in late June, detract and generate lots of street noise into the night.

O melhor de tudo nesse hotel é a localização impecável, ao lado do Panteon. Na chegada, ganhamos um upgrade, um quarto com vista para o Panteon. Desde já, agradeço. O hotel é lindo e bem decorado. Nosso quarto de vista para o Panteon era pequeno. Já o outro quarto da familia, para 3 pessoas era de excelente tamanho. Acho que o que pode melhorar é o cafe da manhã. Não condiz com a grandiosidade do resto do hotel. Pouca variedade e funcionários pouco atenciosos. Mas acho que vale demais pela localização e decoração.

The location is superb. The staff are friendly, extremely helpful and the rooms are very well cleaned and maintained. The quality of the breakfast was the best during our stay in Italy. Overall, we were very happy here for 4 nights and will definitely stay here again.

Het ontbijt was van top-kwaliteit. Er was elke dag een soort van basis, maar er werd daarnaast ook gevarieerd. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het mini-appartement was ruim (voor een mini-appartement) en was rustig gelegen, aan de achterkant van het hotel. Leuk dakterras, met bar (open rond 16 uur, bij mooi weer). De ligging nabij het Pantheon (en overige bezienswaardigheden) was adembenemend!!!

The location is perfect. Right in front of Pantheon. Walking distance to all the famous spots. The hotel staff are very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. Only thing was very small hotel, the dining area for the breakfast was extremely small for the amount of guests staying in the hotel. And the breakfast was very poor side.

Great location, conveniently situated at the center, with most famous attractions within 20-30mins walking distance. Clean and professional look hotel with seemingly old history - seems to have a strong sense of pride. Rooms are clean, modernly renovated and nice bathrooms. At the same time, breakfast is poor (nothing special) and not-so-good coffee. Rooms are not so sound proof. And view is a wall if you don't get the Pantheon view. I didn't feel welcomed at the hotel, until the last minute, when the staff was just talking to each other without any attempt to help us with the luggage going outside, including the bell boy.
