Very comfortable, excellent service, wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed the courtyard area since we were traveling in a group of 11.

The nieghborhood around this hotel is covered in grafitt and looks terrible. Bit this quaint hotel has on site gated parking, albeit limited. The staff was very nice and helpful.the included breakfast was simple but but well presented The room and firniture are dated but clean and comfortable The hotel is a great value for Rome

De parkeerplaats midden in Rome is ideaal.

O hotel é bem agradável, funcionários bem receptivos. Bom café da manhã. A cama poderia ser um pouco melhor, é de molas. O elevador é antigo e estava quebrado, tivemos que levar nossas malas até o 4o andar de escadas. O bairro é tranquilo, próximo ao ponto de ônibus. No geral, gostei do custo benefício e do ambiente do hotel.

The staff here are excellent very helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough for you. The hotel is set in the residential area. So a bit of a trek to the sights but there is public transport near. We just like to walk so we see all the sights. The room was comfortable but the shower we had was small. Terrace area and bar nice and relaxing and great service from the staff again. The area comes alive in the evening and I would recommend going to these small taverns and bars. Went to a amazing bakery for doughnuts and cakes just round the corner. The area of the hotel does seem run down as lots of buildings tagged but everything is clean and welcoming when open . 30 minute walk from train station.

Complessivamente, considerando la media degli hotel a Roma in questa fascia di hotel e prezzi, una buona esperienza. Ma con alcune sfumature di grigio. Stanza al piano terra a cui si accede dal cortiletto, ben messo e piacevole. Un plus. Arredo in parte ricercato ma non sempre comodo nella disposizione. Bagno classico non grande e con servizi e piastrelle un po' datate. Pulizia diciamo standard, non elevata (lo attesto con lo stato delle mie ciabatte alla fine della permanenza). Si sono viste delle formiche. Estremamente comodo il parcheggio interno gratuito (seppur piccolo),cosa rara per gli hotel in centro a Roma.

Staff were very professional and friendly; the courtyard was quite lovely.

Mooie klassieke accommodatie met vriendelijke en gastvrije medewerkers, schone kamer van alle nodige gemakken voorzien, prima ontbijt, leuk terras en bar, rustig gelegen in levendige buurt. Net buiten het centrum maar met OV-mogelijkheden vlakbij. Veel leuke betaalbare restaurantjes in omliggende straten.

Personnel accueillant et serviable. La salle de bain est digne d'un hotel 4 étoiles, rénovée avec une douche a plusieurs jets. La chambre est dans le style ancien, ceci a du charme, mais une forte odeur de moisissure persiste dans la chambre et elle semble venir de la ventilation. La porte de la chambre, donnant dur l'exterieur, est fissurée, mais le frigo fonctionne tres bien.

First night we were given a terrible room with mold and smell of damp. The bathroom was renovated but the whole room stunk. The blanket was all covered with hair from probably previous people stayed in the room. Next day we were given another room upon request, it was in much better shape no mold but the blanket was still full of hair. The only reason I chose this hotel was its ratings but it doesn't deserve 8 point. You are better with another hotel closer to the city because lacation isn't good.

The staff were very nice, and the hotel felt cozy overall. My room was clean, and the bathroom looked recently renovated, which was great. However, the area around the property was quite dirty, and the Smart TV in my room wasn't connected to WiFi, so it didn’t work during my stay. Other than that, everything else was good.

The area is central and close to the train station. Restaurants a couple of blocks away with good food and ambiance. The issue was with the hotel. I booked two beds and when I arrived the beds were put together. Asked the receptionist to fix and they gave me only some sheets and was told to do it myself. I tried but with only two sheets couldn’t separate them and make the beds adequately. But the issue with cleanliness was when I took the original sheets off and got a glimpse at the mattress. Horrible! Also the shower was the smallest shower I’ve been inside in my whole life. The gentleman at the reception was quite friendly but made it very clear his jib was to be in reception and not to make or fix beds in any way shape or form. Won’t be back to this hotel

Lo scarico nn funzionava e il bagno puzzava

The people working there where nice, the hotel isnt. Wierd smell, everywhere you looked there where stains in and out the room. Drains clogged and mould in the shower.

Hotel simples mas com tudo que você precisa!! O quarto e banheiro estavam limpos e organizados. O café da manhã não tem tantas opções como em hotéis maiores, mas tem tudo que você precisa para iniciar o dia (para mim foi super suficiente)

Great property in a good location. Not super close to the attractions but not that far either. The rooms look like a Disney princess movie set. The only issue was the AC, it’s very weak, needs to be replaced- but not something to hit the rating for.

The air circulation in the room is poor, which makes it feel quite stuffy. The location itself is good, though. We ended up sleeping with the windows open the second night, which helped a little. Unfortunately, the AC wasn’t very effective either. But the good thing is that there is parking space.

The building is set back from the road and has a pleasant sitting area. Unfortunately our room was at ground level off a small courtyard. It had one small window with poor ventilation and making the room dark. The central air conditioning system was not functioning making the room uncomfortable. Not enough storage to allow us to unpack during our 3 day stay.

estadia boa, o quarto que fomos colocados (208) tinha um box muito pequeno, quase impossivel tomar banho. e um dia nao foi reposto sabonete , e no outro faltou tapete

Nette accommodatie en kamers. Er liggen mooie stenen vloeren, maar dit is ook het nadeel, want je hoort goed als mensen stoelen verschuiven. Ook de muren waren erg gehorig. Het is dat ik geen Italiaans versta, anders had ik de gesprekken van onze buurman tot in detail kunnen volgen. Verder zijn de mensen van het hotel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was ook goed.

Negative: The room was very small and only had a small window, which had to be covered so nobody could see inside because it was on the ground floor (nr. 105). The room was very badly soundproofed. We heard every flushing of the neighbors' toilets as if they were in our own room. When it rained, it sounded like we were in the shower. The bed was small. Breakfast was not included in the price. The neighborhood wasn't very nice and a bit scary at night. We can't understand why the hotel has such good reviews. Positive: The staff was friendly. Breakfast was okay. Internet connection was good. It's not far away from the Termini train station.

Hotel razoável. Localização ok, perto de ponto de ônibus, metrô e bonde. Atendimento na recepção foi cordial, check in rápido e simples. Quarto estava com cheiro de fechado/mofo, cama era ruim, estava com o colchão afundado no meio, bem desconfortável. A foto do site não condiz com a realidade do quarto, quando falei na recepção sobre o quarto que aparecia no site como referência, o recepcionista disse que a foto era “ilustrativa” e tinha apenas 1 unidade daquele modelo no prédio. Banheiro era grande mas o box era minúsculo!!! Eu sou pequena e estava super desconfortável, imagina para uma pessoa maior e mais cheinha, simplesmente não entra no box. Ar condicionado também não funcionava corretamente (ligava do nada de madrugada). Pelo preço acho que existem opções melhores na cidade. Não voltaria.

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel everything was lovely on our part to our nice room and breakfast which includes good selection of breakfast items and tasty coffee, the rules of the hotel are you leave your room key when going out and car keys at reception if you are parked inside the gate of the property. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful one afternoon staff guy seemed indifferent which make me think he dislikes his job and takes this out on the guests. We witnessed one incident with a Chinese couple who claimed that their camera had been stolen from their room felt the staff were unprofessional with their approach to this couple the talk got very heated at the reception with one staff member getting very loud with them, feel the situation could have been handled way better by the hotel with these guest taken to a private area to discuss their complaints this conversation went on far to long in front of other guests at breakfast, hopefully with better staff training future guests will not have to witness this type of unfortunate circumstances.

The staff were very friendly and assisted us with anything we inquired about.

The property is pretty old and the reception employee will try to ripping you off.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights on our trip to Rome and had a wonderful experience! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the hotel has a lovely courtyard to spend time in! We arrived early and were able to get in our room quickly. A little further from the main tourist attractions but it is very easy to get there. This is a hidden gem and I would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the staff Alessandro (Alex) for making our experience in Rome and at this hotel so wonderful!

Amazing staff! We had trouble with our air conditioner and they switched our room for us. They also helped us book a cab to our airport. We felt like we kept bugging them and they were very kind and friendly with all our questions. Rooms were clean and as you would expect!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Rooms had everything we needed. (Fair warning to British tourists - there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, but it is easily available at the request at the lobby seating area.) Breakfast was very generous and catered to all - omnivores, vegetarians and vegans. 30 mins easy walk to Colosseum, or quick ride in public transport. 20 mins walk from Termini (bus/train depo). We were very well looked after and enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful such a wonderful little oasis. The staff were so helpful and couldnt do enough to make you feel like a special guest,nothing was too much trouble even opening the bar for us when it had closed. I really cannot put into words how much we enjoyed our 8 night stay. We will really miss them. Oh and the breakdasts are really good value for money too.

Ein City-trip nach Rom für 5 Tage / 4 Nächte. Das familiengeführte drei Sterne Hotel liegt in einem typischen römischen Wohnviertel, San Lorenzo, in einer Seitenstraße gelegen und daher ruhig. Die Straßenbahnhalte der Linie 3, eine der wichtigsten Linie, ist nicht weit vom Hotel entfernt. Ein strategischer Vorteil des Hotels ist die unmittelbare Nachbarschaft zu einem Supermarkt. Damit lässt sich leicht der auf dem Zimmer vorhandene Kühlschrank auffüllen.

Hyggeligt hotel 15 minutters gågang fra Termino. Meget stille, selvom det ligger tæt på transport.

Is Rome, great staff and people. Everything is walkable distance 30 minutes from Coliseum 42 from fautian. Tram is right around the corner. The neighborhood is a testament to the kindness of people of Italy. Enjoy!!

Zentral gelegen, nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Gegend ist was sie ist, das wusste man vorher. Eine günstige Übernachtung außerhalb der Touristenströme mit trotzdem guter Anbindung.

The property itself was nice but the surrounding area was not.

Property was great. Area did not feel safe. Okay during the day, unable to clarify after hours. Transport not near. Walking to the train station 15mins via different streets. Once I got my bearings I was okay. Not suitable if you want to catch train or shuttle bus to the are port if you have luggage pathways poor, not good for bag wheels.

Lejos del centro, zona de restaurantes cercano. Alto riesgo de que te roben el coche fuera de las instalaciones del hotel. Solo caben 5 coches. Se veían coches que habían robado en la zona. Dentro de Zona Limitada de Trafico. Solo puedes llegar al hotel en coche a ciertas horas.

Foi muito boa, a localização aparentava ser perigoso a noite, porém, não nos aconteceu nada. Próximo a estação de onibus e bonde.

This is a classic hotel with marble floor and antique feel. I would stay again, except it is a 20 minute walk from Roma Termini over rough sidewalk. Also, the area is not the cleanest in Roma. However, just walk in the direction of restaurant street and the surrounding becomes better. It is close to an old Roman wall.

Trevligt hotell i bra prisklass! Trevlig personal, bra städning, mysig atmosfär! Vi var ett sällskap med 4 hotellrum och alla rum var olika vilket var trevligt! Bra frukost med det man behöver!

El servicio en el hotel fue bueno. Las instalaciones son viejas, pero está limpio. Buen desayuno. Barrio algo feo por ser zona de nivel medio a bajo.

Destacar el desayuno en el hotel bueno y abundante. El personal súper amable, todos lo fueron. Aunque el barrio no es bueno está bien comunicado con el aeropuerto y con el centro de Roma. Repetiré en mi próximo viaje a Roma. Relación calidad precio es excepcional

Beautiful little place to stay with excellent buffet breakfast.

I'm not a fussy guest: I'd stayed in other three-star hotels in Rome, and had enjoyed them. Thus, I had similar hopes for this hotel. They were quickly dashed. The staff were friendly enough, but the noisy air-conditioning didn't work in my room (I sweated all night); the bed mattresses were uncomfortable; and the breakfast options were very limited. The hotel itself was located in a rather grim part of Rome. Ultimately, I moved to another three-star hotel in Rome, which turned out to have perfectly running air-conditioning, comfy beds, good breakfast options, and more accessibility to the rest of the city -- all for less money than this place.

Vi havde fornøjelsen af at tilbringe to nætter på Hotel Villa San Lorenzo Maria i Rom, og vi kunne ikke have ønsket os et bedre sted at bo. Dette hotel er virkelig et fantastisk og charmerende sted, der udstråler autenticitet og italiensk charme. Værelserne er utrolig flot indrettede, hvilket skabte en varm og indbydende atmosfære. Det var den perfekte indkvartering for os som to voksne og en baby, da der var plads til en babyseng uden problemer. Morgenmaden var simpel, men meget dejlig. Det var en perfekt start på dagen med et udvalg af friske og lækre produkter. Vi følte os velkomne og værdsatte de søde og gæstfrie værter og personalet, som altid var klar til at hjælpe med et smil. En af de store fordele ved hotellets beliggenhed er, at det kun tager omkring 30 minutter at gå til Colosseum. Dette gjorde det nemt for os at udforske nogle af Roms mest ikoniske seværdigheder til fods. Desværre var tagterrassen under renovering under vores ophold, så vi fik ikke muligheden for at nyde det udeareal, som vi havde håbet på. Dette var dog blot en mindre skuffelse i forhold til det samlede indtryk af hotellet. I sommervarmenvar airconditionen helt uundværlig, da temperaturen nåede op på 38 grader. Selvom den larmede en smule om natten, vænnede vi os hurtigt til det, og det forhindrede os ikke i at få en god nats søvn. Alt i alt var vores ophold på Hotel Villa San Lorenzo Maria en skøn oplevelse!
