Bra hotell med bra gångavstånd till allt möjligt. Sängen var väldigt skön men fick bara ett täcke trots att vi bad om ett till. frukosten var helt okej, några mackor med pålägg och sockerkaka. Toaletten funkade knappt och det fanns bara två eluttag på hela hotellrummet. Utöver detta var hotellet jättebra. Takterrassen var bara två bord, ingen bar eller något. Men rekommenderar detta hotell om ni vill ha någonstans att sova ett par dagar bara.

Great hotel with an amazing location. The staff is awesome always willing to help. The only con I have it’s the AC. It does not work and the elevator is tiny. I was able to fit my luggage and myself but if you are plus size you may have to do a couple of trips. Other than that I would definitely stay here again.

Frokosten var god og hadde variert meny. Vi opplevde meget god service under hele oppholdet. Vi ble til og med kontaktet uoppfordret dagen før om de skulle booke bil til oss til flyplassen. Had to take stairs up elevator only went up to 4th floor, had to carry 4 pieces of luggage up flight of stairs upon arrival. Room is infested with ants. There are living ants on and unsung suitcase when I left the hotel. Only only working outlet. Lamp was plugged in cord wrapped in electric tape. Only good thing very close to Trevi fountain and Spanish steps. Night staff was not friendly at all. Very loud throughout the night will not stay again or recommend

Best location in the city with a lower price than other hotels in the vicinity means lowering one's expectations. I have stayed here seceral times, previous time was 4 years ago. This time I had two short stays bookending my trip to Italy. The first visit was awful, but the 2nd visit redeemed the hotel. As others have mentoned, this is no longer a 4 star hotel. During my first trip I was assigned a room on 4th floor which deserved a 1 star. On 2nd trip, the room on 1st floor was more like I remembered, room is more up to date but smaller, no broken fuxtures, wifi works. So ask to stay in the lower floors and avoid the clunky elevator. The hotel is overdue for upgrades, but considering the outeageous hotel prices in Rome these days, this is as good a value one can expect at this most desirable location.

Lift breaking down, plug sockets not working, fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, limited air conditioning, only one iron for the whole hotel, no electric kettles, very thin walls (I had to sleep with ear plugs). Definitely not a four star hotel.

Super easy and affordable location between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain area. Professional and friendly front desk team. Acknowledging the room can be a bit small or dated, and noise travels in these older hotels, but overall a great value.

Der var kun lunkent vand på badeværelset. Svært at gennemføre et almindeligt brusebad uden at fryse. Desuden var brusehovedet i stykker og hotellet virkede generelt slidt. Værelset var småt og morgenmaden spartansk. Så alt i alt var det ikke, hvad vi havde forventet af et hotel med 4 stjerner til en fornuftig pris pr nat. Til gengæld har hotellet et godt personale og en fantastisk beliggenhed centralt i byen tæt på butikker, restauranter, supermarked osv. Den del fås ikke meget bedre. Obs: Selvom der er elevator, skal man være opmærksom på, at der er trapper til mange af værelserne. Det er derfor ikke et godt valg til kørestolsbrugere eller gæster med nedsat gangfunktion.

There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. More like negative 4. Property covered in mold. We booked two rooms. Both are in terrible condition. Complained to staff, they offered us other rooms that were in same or worse condition. Pictures speak for themselves. Requested refund and went to another hotel the same day we checked in. Took Expedia two weeks to refund because hotel disputing condition. Expedia didn’t compensate for the inconvenience in any way because they said they got me a refund on a non refundable booking. Poor customer service to a Platinum member.

Property is outdated (yes Rome is old), however amenities and overall facility condition is in need of refresh/renovation. The hotel staff are wonderful, though the complimentary breakfast was somewhat cold/room temp at best (eggs, bacon, etc. all cold). Very convenient location, central, but a little bit left to be desired.

The location close to The Spanish Steps is really good but I wouldn't class this as a 4 star hotel, a decent 3 stars perhaps. Our room was small and the aircon was noisy, no tea/coffee facilities in the room either. The bathroom was really small and the shower head position was not in the usual position meaning we had water issues on the floor after every shower. Overall, it would be fine for 2, maximum 3 nights but we were there for 5 nights and in hindsight would've went for something a bit more spacious.

Great location, within walking distance to all major attractions. Hotel has a coffee shop where they also do breakfast. Staff was very helpful and even made us some breakfast to go when leaving on our last day. Only downside to mention is the WIFI reception. Horrible at the hotel itself however at the coffee shop much better.

I booked this property specifically because it advertised WiFi in both rooms and public areas. That was a complete lie. The WiFi in the room was basically non-existent. We reported the issue on the day we arrived, but no one on staff could (or would) help us during the entire stay. If you need WiFi, a peaceful night’s sleep, or even the slightest bit of support from hotel staff, do not book this hotel. I regret wasting my money here.

The only positive is the location. Great location. As for the rest, please pick somewhere else. The hotel is definitely not 4 star. It is in desperate need or repairs and renovating. We booked the largest, mist expensive suite and during 100 degrees, the a/c in half the suite didn't work at all. It was nearly 85 degrees Fahrenheit during the day. We kept window, curtains and lights off to try and help but it didn't. We stayed for 4 nights and each day we asked for help. Excuses, excuses, excuses. We had 3 fans going st all times. It wasn't until the last night, after being unabke to enter the hot suite, that someone offered my older kuds another room for the night. She lnew the a/c was broken and thought we were told that it wouldnt be fixed until AFTER we checked out. I booked this hotel because it stated they had ac and i knew it was going to be hot. The toilet gurgled all night. The door knob to the bathroom fell off, tiles were cracked and moldy. After complaining for 4 days, we were given a 30% discount however, that wasn't enough to make up for 4 days of sweatingv and not being able to cool down after sight-seeing Rome.

Contrary to requests months in advance and being multiple repeat guests we were given clearly the worst and least accessible room. The receptionist on duty 5pm on 7/9/25 was at best unappreciative of circumstances at worst rude. Due to back problems we needed to be close to lift and no stairs. Also we are in mid 70s. We got the exact opposite room with almost no light. It took Alex another employee to not only facilitate our move to another room but also with multiple other issues. Many thanks to him. The room they moved us to which was described as beautiful and perfect had only one plus and that is much light. Otherwise Lino floor lifting toilet seat off its axis shower spout not stay up and holder broken cistern constantly leaking wall cracked marked. Sometimes only 1 towel replaced. We had to ask for toilet paper almost daily. Etc etc etc. the kitchen staff were good and breakfast was nice and good value. We would not stay there again and it is certainly Not a 4 star hotel

Extremely wonderful staff !!! Big shout out to Antonella at the front desk who was super helpful and very kind .. as well as the staff at the breakfast area .. they helped pack a breakfast for us when we were travelling.. highly recommend this hotel

Had to change rooms twice .. Staff is very stiff , if you ask to many questions they get annoyed , call down stairs they give attitude . First time in Rome , don’t know if i did something rude but average 2-3 stars not even close to 4-5 stars . Area is very nice tho !

Great service, staff were friendly and helpful. Andrea went out of his way to help us book a train ticket. The room was pleasant and clean. Conveniently located, walkable to many attractions and great restaurants, such as the one in front of the hotel and around the corner, Bar Frattina.

I booked this property specifically because it advertised WiFi in both rooms and public areas. That was a complete lie. The WiFi in the room was basically non-existent. We reported the issue on the day we arrived, but no one on staff could (or would) help us during the entire stay. If you need WiFi, a peaceful night’s sleep, or even the slightest bit of support from hotel staff, do not book this hotel. I regret wasting my money here.

The reason to stay here is it is a short walk to Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Borghese Gardens, Pantheon. Want to see Trevi when it is not crowded? Walk over before breakfast. It is about a 5 minute walk to the Spagna stop on the Metropolitana. There is a taxi stand nearby and cross town bus routes. Hotel Homs is basic; no frills, small rooms, old building. But I did not come to Rome to stay in the room, it is convenient to everything in central Rome. Comfortable. Nice breakfast. Would happily stay here again. I threw my three coins in the fountain and I am definitely planning to return.

Great hotel, most central location you can get in Rome (a few steps from Spanish steps and short walking distance to most attractions). Courteous and professional staff. The rooms are on the small side, as you would expect when you stay in older buildings in downtown Rome, and relatively simple but nonetheless very comfortable. Well working air conditioning in a hot July Rome weather gave a nice break whenever I went back to my room. Recommended.

Property is outdated (yes Rome is old), however amenities and overall facility condition is in need of refresh/renovation. The hotel staff are wonderful, though the complimentary breakfast was somewhat cold/room temp at best (eggs, bacon, etc. all cold). Very convenient location, central, but a little bit left to be desired.

Great location, within walking distance to all major attractions. Hotel has a coffee shop where they also do breakfast. Staff was very helpful and even made us some breakfast to go when leaving on our last day. Only downside to mention is the WIFI reception. Horrible at the hotel itself however at the coffee shop much better.

Vi koste oss på hotell Homs og på den nærliggende restauranten, som også hadde hyggelig personale og topp service. Hotellrommet var rent og ryddig. Eneste mangel var en delvis defekt badekarkran. Frokosten var god og hadde variert meny. Vi opplevde meget god service under hele oppholdet. Vi ble til og med kontaktet uoppfordret dagen før om de skulle booke bil til oss til flyplassen. Takterrassen i fjerde etasje ble et ekstra pluss.

Property was good, not great, other than the location. We had some mold in the corners of the room. Mattress was definitely not the best. Breakfast was not until 7am, which was when we were leaving. They had the kitchen open, but they told us you had to ask for a breakfast to go the night before. No one ever told us that, so we paid for breakfast for nothing.

The location for Hotel Homs is excellent, short walk to most Rome attractions. A number of good and very good restaurant in the surrounding streets. The staff were very helpful and the Matre De / Barrister in the breakfast was very friendly and cheery, and he makes a very good coffee. The breakfast was very good.

Super easy and affordable location between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain area. Professional and friendly front desk team. Acknowledging the room can be a bit small or dated, and noise travels in these older hotels, but overall a great value.
