The air conditioner was broken...and the desk said all the rooms had bad AC....the roof top bar was under enovations....looked like it was bombed.....LOL it was a nice joint back in 1999 but no bidy has even changed the shower soap containers in the last 10 years. hard pass next time in Roma!

Het hotel gekozen mede vanwege het beloofde uitzicht in het rooftop restaurant. Helaas waren bar en restaurant gesloten. De kamer had een (koude) douche die uitkwam in de kamer, raar voor een familiekamer. Al het licht is oranje, geen leeslicht of licht om je op te maken. Airco, verwarming en tv werkte niet. Bedden waren heerlijk, locatie top. Wat ze bieden op de site viel tegen.

We chose this hotel for proximity to Vatican City and the many amenities; room service, rooftop meals, rooftop view, handicap, accessible everywhere. Well, the restaurant was closed . The Jacuzz you have to pay €32 per person to use. We called the hotel from the airport for early check-in were told we could get early check-in by 11 o’clock. We paid for a taxi service for all of us to get there including my mom in a wheelchair and were told there was no early check-in we’d have to wait till 3 o’clock no exceptions if a room happened to open up, it would cost us another €30 per person to enter any room early and they lied they said they never spoke to anyone and that was a big lie. And So we had to take my mom in a wheelchair and my whole family and go find a place to park for three hours sees me for hours while they read it up our rooms the handicap accessible part is they have a lift that takes you from the bottom floor to the base floor of the lobby there’s two lobbies ones on the left ones on the right basically ones in the front was in the back we can only answer the front one the Back being too many stairs. This is a big issue. The room had a big step up to the bathroom. The rooms were dirty, dusty, smelly and old. No toiletry articles actually had to ask for everything blankets, etc. not 4 star at all 2 at best. We booked 3 rooms and all 3 rooms sakes issues. My sisters room looked like there was blood on the wall.

We booked the Junior Suite in this 4 star hotel as a treat because it included a large bath and the hotel had a rooftop restaurant. Upon arrival, we were advised to enter via the back entrance by a hotel staff member and no help was offered to carry our cases up the steep stairs to reception. The main entrance also inc. steep stairs. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and advised us to leave our luggage in a communal waiting room downstairs, as check-in was not until 3pm. Our luggage was not securely locked away. Once in the room we noticed the dirty, sticky head/back rest attached to the bath and were very disappointed. Everything was grubby, dusty or sticky - surfaces, blinds, floors, shower inc. mould. The shaving mirror glass was broken, the tissue box empty & not even a bottle of water was offered in the room. Several lights didn’t work, there were just two sockets - one USB by the bed & a plug by the desk. The rooftop bar/restaurant did not exist and there was no lighting on the 4th floor exterior which inc. a smoking area beside several metal gas tanks! The wellness centre was closed. I complained to the manager about the dirty bath and room that evening, who told me he would come to look at it shortly - he never came. This hotel is a travesty. It doesn’t have many the facilities/services listed on the hotels.com site. How it has a 4 star rating beggars belief. We expect a partial refund and request that hotels.com advises us how we obtain this.

Location was great. Young staff members were polite but didnt have any answers. The rooms were NOT sound proofed, as stated on their website. Roadworks were so loud the room was shaking and you could hear people chatting in the corridor. We found that the terrace gad been closed for 6 months, which is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. This was so disappointing. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed regularly but there was a squashed bug on the wall all week.

Hotel needs renovation, one must leave the facility to get coffee and food. Elevator appears unstable. However the staff was friendly and accommodating; not as advertised. I would not recommend this Hotel.

Et hyggeligt hotel med rigtig god beliggenhed. Meget slidt hotel, som i den grad trænger til renovering. Tagterrassen er pt. lukket, og der er ingen morgenmads mulighed på hotellet . Køleskab og fjernsyn på værelset var IKKE funktionsdygtig. Til gengæld en MEGET service minded ung kvinde i receptionen ved navn Sofia, hun er guld værd for hotellet. Ut. fik masser af brugbare informationer om gode spise muligheder, handle muligheder, og offentlig transport, derfor den gode samlet bedømmelse.

The pictures on the website are not up to date. There is no roof top bar and the rooftop spa/hot tub did it have any water and was dirty. Our door had to be splayed to close and after a day out we returned to find the door open where staff did not close for behind them after cleaning. One of our rooms the tv did not work. No cups in room for bathroom and no coffee. When asked we were told they stopped coffee in 2920 with Covid. We had to go outside hotel to get food or drinks. Would not recommend to stay in. Do not let the pictures fool you.

hotellet er nedslidt. Dårlig vedligeholdt. Ved booking fremgår at morgen er incl. Restauranten var lukket! Vi fik en morgenmad på nærliggende restaurant. Resten for egen regning.

Check in was smooth no problems staff were pleasant. However, once my gf and I got to our room it was a turn for the worst. Found another persons hair immediately on the bed and on the ground. Stains on walls and floor however I can handle that. What I can’t handle is the fact there is MOLD and left over used Q tips lying on the table and in the shower. Additionally, sheets and towels left us feeling itchy. Would not really recommend this place unless you brought your own sheets and towels fr.

Negatives: Furchtbar! Das Bettzeug hatte einen großen Blutfleck. Nachdem angeblich kein anderes Zimmer mehr frei war (auf Expedia zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch einige Zimmer verfügbar) hat uns die unfreundliche Rezeptionistin einfach noch ein Leintuch in die Hand gedrückt und meinte wir sollen es doch einfach über die Flecken ausbreiten. Generell ist das Personal nicht sehr bemüht. Die Einrichtung ist total demoliert - alles wackelt. Die Wände im Zimmer sind mit grauem Stoff bezogen - der Stoff war total staubig sodass auch Nicht-Allergiker zu Allergikern werden. Lage nicht ideal da alles (bis auf den Petersdom) sehr weit zu Fuß ist. Alles in allem schlecht. Positives: Vergleichsweise relativ günstig - aber der Preis erklärt so einiges…

This hotel was AWFUL nothing on the Expedia website was true. It was dirty there was NO restaurant, bar, blanket, soap, tissues, HOT WATER, the refrigerator was broken and no ice available. We spent 3 hrs of our day getting the shower, sink and refrigerator fixed. The pictures on the sight were all fake or out dated. The staff was nice but we could tell they were embarrassed, having to make excuses for everything. Shopping nearby was convenient because we had to go buy everything we needed. The only thing that worked was the WiFi…DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

All’inizio pensavo fosse uno scherzo! Un Hotel classificato (e pagato) come 4 stelle, non ne vale mezza! La stanza è sporca, con i mobili rotti, le prese che non funzionano, la doccia imbarazzante. Nella prenotazione si parla di colazione disponibile e alla domanda dove sia la sala, mi viene risposto che non esiste nemmeno un bar. In stanza (e stiamo parlando di un Hotel 4 stelle!) neppure una bottiglietta d’acqua. Sono veramente basito di come un sito serio come Hotel.Com possa permettere una cosa del genere.

Hotel in ottima posizione , vicinissimo ai musei vaticani . Stanza molto datata e in cattive condizioni .( Carta da parati piena di macchie ) . Pessima la pulizia della stanza , nella doccia ho trovato addirittura una saponetta usata . Unica nota positiva le ragazze dello staff veramente gentili . Sinceramente , in queste condizioni , non ci tornerei .

We didn’t enjoy our stay at the Orange Hotel in Rome. The room was dirty, especially the floors and there were no toiletries in the bathroom. Despite flagging this to the reception, nothing was done about it. The floor had hairs everywhere and the bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned. The rooms are very small and the mini fridge wasn’t working. Room was in old/poor condition. I don’t see how this is a 4 star hotel, this is 2 star quality at best. Better off spending a bit more and finding something else. Only plus was the location.

We booked the Junior Suite in this 4 star hotel as a treat because it included a large bath and the hotel had a rooftop restaurant. Upon arrival, we were advised to enter via the back entrance by a hotel staff member and no help was offered to carry our cases up the steep stairs to reception. The main entrance also inc. steep stairs. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and advised us to leave our luggage in a communal waiting room downstairs, as check-in was not until 3pm. Our luggage was not securely locked away. Once in the room we noticed the dirty, sticky head/back rest attached to the bath and were very disappointed. Everything was grubby, dusty or sticky - surfaces, blinds, floors, shower inc. mould. The shaving mirror glass was broken, the tissue box empty & not even a bottle of water was offered in the room. Several lights didn’t work, there were just two sockets - one USB by the bed & a plug by the desk. The rooftop bar/restaurant did not exist and there was no lighting on the 4th floor exterior which inc. a smoking area beside several metal gas tanks! The wellness centre was closed. I complained to the manager about the dirty bath and room that evening, who told me he would come to look at it shortly - he never came. This hotel is a travesty. It doesn’t have many the facilities/services listed on the hotels.com site. How it has a 4 star rating beggars belief. We expect a partial refund and request that hotels.com advises us how we obtain this.

This property is very run down and dirty. The mirrors in the room I was given looked liked they were never cleaned. The bathroom was leaky and the water was not draining. I kept getting told they will fix the issues in the morning and that they didn’t have another room to move me too. I spoke with other people as I was there and they had the same issues. Luckily I was only there for one night. Don’t stay here believe me you will regret it!

This hotel did not really look the way it looked in the pictures. We were excited about this stay but it was not what we expected. It was quite small, most of the lighting was orange, the walls must have been thin because we could hear the noise from the restaurant downstairs when we were trying to sleep, and there were bugs as well.

Expected tiny room but it was decent for the square footage and cleanliness. I\'d stay here again. Staff was friendly. Cute decor. Lots of restaurants within 4 blocks. 1 mini suoermarket too. Is really close to Vatican. Is a hike from train (S.Pietro), so take a $8 taxi. 1 Usb plug. Safe, fridge, closet too. Has small elevator. Negs: tv was 16". No shampoo. A/C shrills but was nice. Noisy street at 5 am garbage men. And thin walls, could here next room. No restaurant noise on our side.

Overall decent stay for the price, the ac doesn’t work but most hotels in Italy don’t have working ac so we weren’t too bothered by that. Our safe wasn’t easy to get working and the fridge wasn’t working which was inconvenient and it’s pretty loud as the walls are thin. But it’s in a great area lots of amazing restaurants especially the one next door and a quick walk to things like the Vatican. Check in process was super easy and the staff is very friendly and accommodating as we had to stay an extra night last minute due to a train strike and they accommodated us right away even though the request was very last minute. Overall a pretty decent place to stay if you want to be central to everything but save some money.

Location was great. Young staff members were polite but didnt have any answers. The rooms were NOT sound proofed, as stated on their website. Roadworks were so loud the room was shaking and you could hear people chatting in the corridor. We found that the terrace gad been closed for 6 months, which is one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. This was so disappointing. The room was cleaned daily and towels changed regularly but there was a squashed bug on the wall all week.

There is a lot of mix feeling about this hotel. The location is great about 5 min walk to the Vatican. The room are so-so. No big deal. The first room the Ac didn’t work and and u can see there where some water damage or stain in the wall also it smelled moldy in the first room. The second room was good just water stain in the walls but the biggest problem was the noise that came from the restaurant which is 2 feet next to the hotel and did not close till 2 am if your a light sleeper they will keep you up. With the loud talking Shout out the the two male staff at the front desk. They were every helpful

*I know a lot of reviews of this hotel are glowing but I urge you to read the Google reviews to get a clearer picture. Had we had read them I don’t think we would have booked this hotel. * The best way I could describe this hotel is a hostel with private rooms. I have stayed in hostels around Europe with the same service for much less money. I honestly would say that this place isn’t worth 4 stars. We were told to move after our first night due to deep cleaning. And we were given a much worse room than that we had paid for. It’s important to note that we weren’t the only ones. The entire 2nd floor was emptied. When we asked if any other rooms were available, there wasn’t any and no compensation was offered. The air conditioning in the room was broken and made such a loud noise that you couldn’t sleep, the bathroom was tiny as was the room itself, and the double bed was just two mattresses with a sheet over it. Also in the bathroom they only give you three small sachets of soap and no shampoo etc were provided (again makes it feel like a hostel). Additionally, the pictures have clearly been taken with a wide angle lense as they are quite small in reality. If you want a great location and that’s all you care about this hotel is really good. But if you wanted a nice hotel “experience” you can get a lot better for your money. The staff were friendly but weren’t sympathetic to the issues that we brought to their attention.

There were 2 full days with absolutely no hot water. The staff didnt seem concerned that we could not take even a lukewarm shower. When i asked again upon checkout they told me to complain to expedia. I have stayed there in the last with no issues. While i understand these things can happen. Their lack of concern and no solution for 2 days was unacceptable

They were doing massive demolition which has to be acknowledged during booking. It was not refundable and I had not choice but to throw away $1,200.00 USD and move to a new hotel. They would not issue a refund. ruined out trip to Rome.

We had an absolutely atrocious stay at this hotel. A loose tile by the tub cause me to roll my ankle that I had surgery 2 months earlier. We immediately requested to cancel our reservation but the hotel would not issue a refund even though we never stayed the night in the hotel as we immediately left to a new hotel. Terrible hotel. Bathroom was not clean, a lot of grown in dirt around the bathtub. Under the bed had not been vacuumed in months. Staff was rude and made us wait for 15 minutes while on the phone. I communicated clearly the need for two single beds with my stay. Staff on arrival claimed no such correspondence had been received and basically falied to acknowledge it despite my proof when presented. An additional €60 later i was allocated a different room. Het hotel gekozen mede vanwege het beloofde uitzicht in het rooftop restaurant. Helaas waren bar en restaurant gesloten. De kamer had een (koude) douche die uitkwam in de kamer, raar voor een familiekamer. Al het licht is oranje, geen leeslicht of licht om je op te maken. Airco, verwarming en tv werkte niet. Bedden waren heerlijk, locatie top. Wat ze bieden op de site viel tegen.

We chose this hotel for proximity to Vatican City and the many amenities; room service, rooftop meals, rooftop view, handicap, accessible everywhere. Well, the restaurant was closed . The Jacuzz you have to pay €32 per person to use. We called the hotel from the airport for early check-in were told we could get early check-in by 11 o’clock. We paid for a taxi service for all of us to get there including my mom in a wheelchair and were told there was no early check-in we’d have to wait till 3 o’clock no exceptions if a room happened to open up, it would cost us another €30 per person to enter any room early and they lied they said they never spoke to anyone and that was a big lie. And So we had to take my mom in a wheelchair and my whole family and go find a place to park for three hours sees me for hours while they read it up our rooms the handicap accessible part is they have a lift that takes you from the bottom floor to the base floor of the lobby there’s two lobbies ones on the left ones on the right basically ones in the front was in the back we can only answer the front one the Back being too many stairs. This is a big issue. The room had a big step up to the bathroom. The rooms were dirty, dusty, smelly and old. No toiletry articles actually had to ask for everything blankets, etc. not 4 star at all 2 at best. We booked 3 rooms and all 3 rooms sakes issues. My sisters room looked like there was blood on the wall.

Køleskab og fjernsyn på værelset var IKKE funktionsdygtig. Til gengæld en MEGET service minded ung kvinde i receptionen ved navn Sofia, hun er guld værd for hotellet. Ut. fik masser af brugbare informationer om gode spise muligheder, handle muligheder, og offentlig transport, derfor den gode samlet bedømmelse.

The pictures on the website are not up to date. There is no roof top bar and the rooftop spa/hot tub did it have any water and was dirty. Our door had to be splayed to close and after a day out we returned to find the door open where staff did not close for behind them after cleaning. One of our rooms the tv did not work. No cups in room for bathroom and no coffee. When asked we were told they stopped coffee in 2920 with Covid. We had to go outside hotel to get food or drinks. Would not recommend to stay in. Do not let the pictures fool you.

Prima hotel, prijs kwaliteit is goed. Je betaald niet de hoofdprijs en krijgt een goede kamer. Kleine details in de kamer kunnen wat netter of het kan een upgrade krijgen. This was a very disappointing hotel - run down - smelly rooms - no roof deck bar - no breakfast- did not get 2 of the 3 rooms i booked yet waz charged for the larger rooms

The mattress was terrible. Springs were in you ribs all night. Could not sleep No tissues, no proper soaps nothing like in the pictures on line. Tried to collect twice the taxes and in Canadian dollars.

Honestly? They probably advertise the hotel as you see it, and have no plans to follow through. If all you literally want is a place to sleep, do it. Don't count on the amenities, or really anything besides your bed working. A/C? Non-working unit in room. Rooftop Bar? Sure, there is one. It won't be open though. Hot tub? YES! It's there with no water in it. Wi-Fi? Don't bet on it working. Don't plan on seeing the wine glasses from those advertisement photos in person ever. They've got two plastic rocks glasses it seemed like they shared between every room.
