It was a nice hotel. Very close to Mestre train station, 5 min walk. Eassy access to get to Venezia. Room was a little small but enough for 4 of us as we were only there to sleep. Room was nice & modern but Bathroom shower needs to be updated & cleaned. It smelled of urine near the toilet. Shower was Quite moldy. It should be the most cleanest & hygienic. I wouldn't go barefoot in the shower. Quite disgusting and Disappinted for this.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen. Auch die Parkmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung sind preisgünstig. Venedig ist mit Bus in 12-15 Minuten direkt erreichbar. Zu kurzes Bett. Zu kleine Tür ins Bad. Im ganzen Hotel riecht es nach essen. Kakerlaken in der Dusche.

Hotel Roberta does well everything well for a trip to Venice: ~20min bus ride away from Venice, nearby a supermarket (Ali), clean, good sleep. Breakfast cost 10 euros. It is good enough, nothing special. Great value for price paid.

The room was overall clean and checkin and checkout were easy. Staff was nice and spoke enough English to assist us which was appreciated as our italian isn't quite as good as it could be. My issues stem with the comfort, smell and overall area. Upon emtering the room, we were hit with the immediate stench of cigarettes. It was overwhelmingly bad. At first we thought it was coming from the street below, but soon realized it was in the headboard and furniture. We considered saying something to staff, but after 17 hours of travel and a language barrier, we decided not to. We did some remedies of our own to mitigate the smell and were able to dull it enough to get by. That leads me to issue # 2. The beds are extremely firm and uncomfortable. They also arent particularly spacious but we understood this going in as Europe is less spacious in general with accomodations compared to the USA. Sleep was difficult due to the discomfort in the beds, but again, we got by. My final issue is the location, though this was the lowest of my concerns. The area overall felt a bit unsafe. The hotel presents itself fairly well, but stands out in what appeared to be a rougher part of town. We heard neighbors screaming at each other, and found the area in relative disrepair. This isn't the hotel's fault by any means, but is something to consider. The hotel is fairly close to the train station (6 or so minute walk) which is why we assumed it would be a nice area.

Initially the area of Mestre is not great which various undesirable people milling around looking dodgy. I wouldn’t go out on your own at night. My first room, stank of cigarette smoke, drawn in via the AC. The bed sheets had holes in the but although very basic, it was at least clean. I asked to move rooms after the first night, which was kindly accommodated, but the room was very noisy both inside and outside. For 3 nights I didn’t sleep well at all. The shower in both rooms also went cold after 2mins. Over all the hotel was poor, not a 3 star … more a 2 star and I probably wouldn’t go back again.

For a quick stay this is a good choice because it’s close to the bus and train station 5-7 minutes to walk. The hotel is older and set up a little odd ie we had to ho through the breakfast area to get to our room but in saying that the beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. Hotel was not in the greatest area at all. We didn’t feel comfortable walking far outside and it can be loud at night windows are paper thin you could hear all kinds of yelling on the street below. And don’t eat at the restaurant up the street to the right of the hotel it was terrible.

Our room was nice, big, clean and looked far better than the photos, plus comfy beds! Only about a 5 minute walk to Mestre train station. The only minor issue was that the windows weren’t soundproof so we got a bit of street and car noise into our room.

The location was as expected, the room was small, as expected. There was ok storage and the bathroom was well equpped, new- looking and clean. The room was too hot but the air-con was effective. The problem was the bed. It was too firm and had only one "pillow" which felt like a flat block of foam. I found it impossible to get comfortable in any position, or to sleep.

The photos in Expedia and hotel website are not accurate; the hotel should update their website to provide accurate representative of their hotel and staff. This hotel seems to have a new management. The staff that checked me in did not understand English well; he just took my passport and ask for the city tax. He did not provide usual information such as breakfast time and check out time. When I asked him about the restaurant next door he just said we don’t own it. Also when asked about transportation he just gave me bus numbers. The fridge in the room have mold. I would not stay here again. Stay at the little hotels owned by Italians nearby.

Location was about a 5 min walk to the train station. Convenient if you plan of visiting Venice. Staff could use some training on customer service, being consistently reminded that breakfast is closing every 5 mins in a rude way. The rooms are decent, typical for Italy. Not sure if I would stay here again, price was ok.

スタッフの対応が良く、チェックアウト後も無料で荷物を預かってくれた。ヴェネツィアの入島税免除のホテルなのでチェックインの際に登録するように教えてくれた。部屋は清潔感があり、シャワーの水圧も問題無し。シングルルームにしたので大きめのキャリーを広げるとドアが開かなかった。冷蔵庫がほんのり冷たい程度なので要冷蔵のものは買わないほうがいいかも。

This is a bait and switch operation. Very unusual in my experience with Expedia to find the hotel not complying with advertised amenities. The main problem for my 3 day stay was the complete lack of air conditioning in my room during the hottest days of the year with Europe under an intense heat dome. They did have some air conditioning in the hallways. The room was rather dingy and small, but clean enough. No USB ports at all. Since a had an issue with one of my charging cables, I was not able to recharge my phone at all initially. When I simply described the problem at the night front desk, the receptionist got aggressive, lecturing me that I did not have the right to criticize the hotel in any way! Eventually, he did give me an adaptor that I could use with my other cable so that I was able to recharge my phone over the rest of my stay. The day staff spoke quite poor English so communication was a problem. Overall, my hotel experience here was hardly bearable, with the first half of the night trying to sleep in stifling heat. But, In made it. Since this experience was not up to my previous longstanding experience with Expedia, and was not reasonable given the implied contract that was entered into, I would request compensation from the service provider for this experience. Thanks for your help and attention to this matter.

Used this hotel as a base to visit Venice. The location of the hotel is excellent - 20 minutes on the bus from the airport to Mestre and a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Venice central is 10 minutes on the train. Hotel room was clean but basic. No frills but all we needed for 3 nights. Continental breakfast was very good. Kettle in the room would have been appreciated, the room needed a bit of TLC but for the price, I would recommend and will happily visit again if visiting Venice.

Hotel Roberta itself to a tucked away on a side road and is not too prominently visible until you get closer. We had an uneventful check in and were able to get out to Vence Mestre station quickly. But we were warned at the station about returning too late on New Years eve. Return to the hotel that night at about 10 pm after most businesses closed made us nervous with groups of young boys loitering and setting off firecrackers. The room was a few hallway turns away. Room itself was cozy with 4 beds and a small bathroom (and a tiny shower!). Good hot water and plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. But would have preferred comforters instead of the wooly blankets.

You can save yourself a lot of money by staying here, walking five minutes to the train station, and going to Venice island in ten minutes. Just dont expect glitz and glamour . Its got everything you need and nothing more. Adequate breakfast for ten euros

O quarto era grande e limpo, a equipe muito atenciosa e solicita e o café da manha muito bom, com variedade de fruta e outras coisas, valeu a pena pagar 10 euros por pessoa. A regiao é meio deserta mas nao é perigosa. Fica apenas 5min a pé da estaçao de trem e tem mercado perto. O único ponto negativo era que no nosso quarto que ficava perto da area de café, ficava fazendo um barulho a noite como do encanamento que incomodava aé pegar no sono. De resto foi tudo ótimo. Recomendo.
