Walk back in time to one of the oldest hotels in Venice. The staff was wonderful and super helpful. Make sure to ask them restaurant recommendations, because wow. The one they recommended was AMAZING. Our room was clean and stocked with amenities. The bed was comfy after a long flight. The pool was greatly appreciated after a long hot day- although it sucked you only got 30 minutes a day to use it (they are very strict) And the included breakfast was amazing. Tons of options! The hotel is situated close to shopping and about 10 minutes from the Rialto bridge. We will definitely return to this hotel :)

Nice spot with a great location and a lovely pool. The hotel has some very specific rules about brining food from outside (you are not allowed), kids can only use the pool from 11-2 which with the current heat wave makes it a bit challenging if you want to cool off after your day in the city. I think had we know ahead it would have made it better but we made it work for our schedule.

Great location. Good for 2 - 4 night stay. Does what it says on the tin. Described as having a swimming pool; it does not, just a large jacuzzi. This was disappointing.

If we could give 10 stars we would. Staff was amazing and our room with a huge balcony gave us a wonderful gathering place for our family. The pool was perfectly heated to be refreshing after the heat of the day.

Good, quiet location, yet closed to the main crowd in Venice. We had complaint about the poor house keeping and the bathroom amenities. In the first night the extra bed is only given a thin sheet as the blanket, until requested the next day for a proper blanket.

We recently enjoyed a two-night stay at Hotel Giorgione in Venice (March 18–20) and were very pleased with our experience. The price we paid was excellent value for money, especially given the hotel's central location, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms, while a little small, were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with daily servicing. They had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The only minor downside was the view from our window, which faced a wall, but this didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. The staff at check-in were fantastic—professional, welcoming, and very helpful. The breakfast selection was impressive, with options including bacon, eggs, pastries, cakes, cereal, and more. The self-service machines for juice, water, milk, and coffee were convenient, and the breakfast staff were outstanding—friendly, accommodating, and always happy to assist. The building itself was beautiful and well-themed, adding to the Venetian charm. We had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Venice! We will be leaving a room tour on our YouTube channel - The Persistent Traveller

Sehr sauber, trotz Stadtmitte sehr leise, sehr nettes hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstück auch hier sehr freundliches Personal, toll war der kostenlose Whirlpool im Innenhof. Einziges was wir nicht ganz so toll fanden war das die Klimaanlage nicht sehr stark gekühlt hat (Einstellung auf 16 Grad mit stärkstem Gebläse) - aber das ist bei einer Nacht vertretbar und im Sommer vielleicht anders eingestellt und von daher kein Abzug für uns....

As we arrived and approached the front desk, hotel personnel read us hotel rules in a very militaristic manner: no food, no drinks, 30-minutes of pool time per day, and only if reserved, never keep your keys with you, leave them at the desk, etc, etc. They also try setting you up with their travel agent to explore Venice and surroundings. Even that came with various restrictions. So, my first impression of what looked like beautiful hotel, was of military camp. Continue with few more negative points. The walls between rooms are a joke. I could hear my neighbors talking on the phone till 2 am. I knew all their itinerary: what they have done and will do next day. I felt like they were in my room. We also could hear them going to bathroom. One had weak urine flow. When addressed issue with hotel, they told me that they are leaving and we will sleep better that night. If you are internet user, do not count on steady internet. Many times it didn’t work. When we were leaving to the airport, we got a pizza to go and brought the box back to hotel to collect our stored luggage. Hotel representative seeing us carrying pizza box did not want to let me into the hotel to get my luggage. Also, I witnessed how they ask people to leave the pool immediately after 30 minutes expire, even though there were almost nobody using the pool. On a positive side, we liked hotel’s location, ambiance and its cleanliness. They offer good breakfast too! Overall, I would give this hotel 3 stars, not 4.

Zwar ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber da erwartet man ja in Venedig. Einziger Kritikpunkt, sind die Matratzen, die könnten mal ausgetauscht werden. Aber ansonsten, perfekte Lage und sehr freundliches Personal.

I really didn’t like my stay. The rooms were too dark and lacked a welcoming atmosphere. Some of the staff were unfriendly, especially at breakfast. I poured two glasses of orange juice—one for my 7-year-old son and one for myself—and was harassed about it. Later, when I went to get a small plate of eggs, I felt uncomfortably watched as if I was taking too much food, which is not the case since I always eat small portions. Overall, the experience was extremely uncomfortable, and I would never stay here again. There are many better options in Venice, especially considering how pricey this place is. I booked a suite, but the room was far from nice, and the shower was a complete disaster.

We stayed at Hotel Giorgione for two nights in a classic room. The room and shower room were small but all we needed. The hotel was traditionally decorated and felt like we were in a historic building. Breakfast was good and eating outside was great. I had accidentally booked my Hotel for the wrong month and was able to get this hotel. We were worried it wouldn’t be to our expectations but this Hotel was fantastic. The pool was perfect for soaking in after a long day. The location was very good. The staff were 5 star. We were in a large suite which was very spacious and most importantly the AC was perfect. (A must have for Venice in the summer)

As we arrived and approached the front desk, hotel personnel read us hotel rules in a very militaristic manner: no food, no drinks, 30-minutes of pool time per day, and only if reserved, never keep your keys with you, leave them at the desk, etc, etc. They also try setting you up with their travel agent to explore Venice and surroundings. Even that came with various restrictions. So, my first impression of what looked like beautiful hotel, was of military camp. Continue with few more negative points. The walls between rooms are a joke. I could hear my neighbors talking on the phone till 2 am. I knew all their itinerary: what they have done and will do next day. I felt like they were in my room. We also could hear them going to bathroom. One had weak urine flow. When addressed issue with hotel, they told me that they are leaving and we will sleep better that night. If you are internet user, do not count on steady internet. Many times it didn’t work. When we were leaving to the airport, we got a pizza to go and brought the box back to hotel to collect our stored luggage. Hotel representative seeing us carrying pizza box did not want to let me into the hotel to get my luggage. Also, I witnessed how they ask people to leave the pool immediately after 30 minutes expire, even though there were almost nobody using the pool. On a positive side, we liked hotel’s location, ambiance and its cleanliness. They offer good breakfast too! Overall, I would give this hotel 3 stars, not 4.

Absolutely fantastic service from everyone including reception, laundry and breakfast service. We were particularly impressed with the barman who served us on one night of our stay who went out of his way to ensure we enjoyed our evening and drinks. The hotel is very unique and has a lot of character. The fact that the pool was heated was also a great touch.

I really didn’t like my stay. The rooms were too dark and lacked a welcoming atmosphere. Some of the staff were unfriendly, especially at breakfast. I poured two glasses of orange juice—one for my 7-year-old son and one for myself—and was harassed about it. Later, when I went to get a small plate of eggs, I felt uncomfortably watched as if I was taking too much food, which is not the case since I always eat small portions. Overall, the experience was extremely uncomfortable, and I would never stay here again. There are many better options in Venice, especially considering how pricey this place is. I booked a suite, but the room was far from nice, and the shower was a complete disaster.

We recently enjoyed a two-night stay at Hotel Giorgione in Venice (March 18–20) and were very pleased with our experience. The price we paid was excellent value for money, especially given the hotel's central location, making it easy to explore the city. Ao retornar ao hotel com minha esposa e meu filho autista, entramos no restaurante apenas para finalizar dois drinks antes de jantar no próprio local. O garçom não nos permitiu sequer sentar. Em seguida, já no lobby, um recepcionista que se identificou como Lorenzo nos impediu de subir ao quarto, gritando na frente de outros hóspedes e exigindo que saíssemos do hotel com os copos, mesmo após dizermos que iríamos descartá-los. Solicitei que a polícia fosse chamada, o que foi negado, assim como o fornecimento de um telefone para contato. No dia seguinte, o mesmo atendente voltou a nos tratar de forma intimidatória, o que me levou a evitar novos contatos. Após o ocorrido, pararam de repor o frigobar, deixei de ir ao café da manhã por receio e, o mais grave, meu filho ficou emocionalmente desregulado. Fantastic hotel. Perfect location- few minutes to Rialto yet very quiet, off the beaten track. Also easy to get to/from airport (catch alilaguna ferry to Fondamenta Nove for EUR 15 and walk 7-10mins). Friendly staff, especially at breakfast (shoutout to Albert!) and reception. Nice courtyard with hot tub/pool- but be aware that kids only allowed in 11am-2pm. Junior Suite big enough for us as a couple with 1 kid- not lots of unpacking space/drawers/hooks, but not surprising for central Venice. Still can’t quite believe how many boxes this ticked for such a reasonable price. Highly recommend

We walked from the train station (20-25 mins) and it’s easy to walk into the most popular tourist areas (Rialto bridge - 5 mins, and St Mark’s square 10-15 mins). Great restaurants and bars neary, especially if you go a couple of streets further north away from the tourist traps. The hotel is in a nice quiet spot but close to a lovely square with a church. The lobby is welcoming and there a magnificent Murano glass chandelier as you come in the main door. The staff are excellent. Our room (304) was adequate without being amazing. Probably worth booking a superior room. Breakfast was good and there is a jacuzzi pool in the courtyard which you can book for 30 mins. Would recommend and would stay again.

Bianca was an incredible host with the children and so attentive to the adults. Professional, efficient and knowledgeable, we were so impressed. Breakfast was good value. No other food available throughout the day. Beautiful setting for breakfast outside with the pool. Decent location for hotel with restaurants the locals enjoy in close proximity!

We loved our stay. The staff were excellent- remembered our names and went above in offering advice. The hotel feels very Venetian! The room and bed itself were adequate, though we got the smallest and cheapest room available so that’s on us. The terrace was lovely and the breakfast was great!

Nous avons séjourné à l’hôtel en couple et notre expérience a été globalement très agréable. L’hôtel se distingue par sa superbe décoration et son ambiance charmante. Un des points forts est la piscine, idéale pour se détendre après une journée de visites, bien que la nécessité de réserver un créneau à l’avance puisse être un peu contraignante. Le thé glacé et chaud à disposition dans les parties communes est une attention appréciée qui ajoute une touche de confort supplémentaire. Le petit déjeuner buffet est excellent et très complet, offrant une variété de choix pour bien commencer la journée. Cependant, il est dommage que le jus d’orange frais soit payant en supplément. Le personnel de l’hôtel est extrêmement sympathique et accueillant, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. L’hôtel est également très bien situé, permettant de découvrir Venise à pied en seulement 30 minutes d’un bout à l’autre de l’île. Le seul inconvénient notable a été le lit double, composé de deux matelas simples réunis, ce qui crée un creux au milieu de la nuit. We loved our stay at Hotel Giorgione. The location was perfect and our room well appointed. We had a delicious breakfast and enjoyed relaxing in the rooms off the lobby. We will stay here again.

This hotel is located right off the ferry stop. A five minute walk. It's two ferry stops from the train station. Super easy. The staff was friendly upon arrival. We could not check in early so had to wait until the 2pm time. They do have storage for your bags. The room we had was a small room with a queen bed. The bathroom was nice and the A/C was amazing. Best we had in Italy. And it was self controlled. They have a small pool which in the heat of August was a blessing. I used it daily. You get a time limit of 30 minutes per room to actually be inside the pool. However you can sunbathe and enjoy the area around the pool as much as you like. And they have a bar there as well. I really enjoyed this feature. And between the a/c and the pool I would def stay here again. They have a very nice breakfast daily. Lots of cafe's around to eat and an easy walk to San M square. Great location. They have a rule against putting anything of your own in the room fridge or bringing any food of your own into the room. I found this off putting. However with the a/c and pool I would highly recommend.

This is hotel is stunning and in a great location for exploring the city. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The one thing I would have liked to have known before booking was that you can only book the pool for 30mins and if you have a child, only between 11 and 2. As it was the main reason I booked, I felt it was important to know

Loved the beautiful murano glass chandeliers. Breakfast was okay and the pool had to be booked in 30m slots but was nice to have it just to yourself. The hotel allowed us to use the pool the following day as we checked in late and children are only allowed in at certain times. The hotel was in a lovely location close to nice restaurants and the ferry boats. Easy to get a gondola nearby too. Felt like lovely old school venician glamour and the pool table was a lot of fun. Great that the water dispenser also did fizzy culligan filtered water.
