We found this hotel by accident. The location was convienant to the train station, but quiet and restful. The staff was friendly and helpful. They always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was delish and the bar restaurant area was lovely. They even have a garden patio available to eat ion in nice weather. We plan to return and also try their location in Rome. All in all a wonderful experience.

They have several walk up rooms so make sure you ask in advance NOT to have one of these…..Unless you don’t care. If you have a pullout couch also tell them in advance to make it up since they do not have regular staff to help and they all pitch in alternating jobs to help. It is very close to train station and the cruise port for smaller ships as well as the ferry system so a good choice for our trip. The front desk was as helpful and friendly as possible with great restaurant suggestions and getting you to where you had to be. I would stay there again but would not stay in a walk up room.

What an outstanding hotel! Located on a side street/alley, it is away from the busy main road and just a block from the train station and water taxis. An absolute gem, with a lovely staff to book your adventures, and help along the way. The breakfast buffet is fantastic w a variety of teas, coffees, croissants, eggs, bacon, deli meats, sandwich breads, and more! The rooms are spacious enough, with a bathroom that meets all your personal needs. I loved the soap and shampoo from Milan, smelled delicious. The elevator makes transporting up and down the stairs easy. Don’t be alarmed that it is small, it works great and can hold 2 people comfortably, three is a squeeze. This hotel has a gorgeous back patio to enjoy and cocktail or glass of wine at night and even a bite to eat. I highly recommend staying here! What a great vibe and accessible to everything!

Excellent hotel, close to everything you need when visiting Venice. Near train station and bus station are 5 mins walk plus ferry to the mainland and airports. Superb, clean modern hotel with lovely garden and bar area to relax after a day in Venice.

Great location just a couple blocks from the train. Helpful front desk staff. The bar/restaurant was closed while we were there. Not a huge deal as there’s many restaurants nearby but would have been nice to have that option in the mornings and evenings. Located just down a side street off one of the main roads so it was quieter and less walking traffic to get in and out.

Amazing hotel, right after the walking bridge that allows no cars into Venice. The hotel was beautiful and the hotel staff was amazing. The bar was open daily and made really good drinks. Lots of coffee shops and great restaurants within a 10min walk. Will stay here again if I come back to Venice.

Good hotel except the water drains out of the shower very slowly and it floods the bathroom. I gave feedback during my stay about this and nothing was done. Breakfast is average to good. Nice rooms though, good air conditioning which is important in Europe at the moment. The staff were outstanding in their service.

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the train station! Very convenient when we had to haul our luggage around. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel, rooms and restaurant were very clean. It was also quiet!

This review is for a 4-person suite, which might differ from other rooms. The hotel offered a spacious room and was ideally located, very close to both the train station and the ferries/boats, which made it convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was decent (7/10), offering a reasonable variety. However, there were a few issues. The first room we were given was quite noisy in the mornings, which was a bit disruptive. The mini bar was disappointing — it only contained two bottles of water (not free), and the fridge was too warm. In fact, the fridge in the first room was not only dirty but also had a bad smell, possibly due to high temperature inside. I showed the photo and video to the receptionist who was also shocked to see it in that condition. I had to clean it with alcohol myself for the night. They did move us to a different room on a higher floor which was quieter and had a better view and a cleaner fridge. Overall, the location and staff were very nice, but the mini bar and noise issues could definitely be improved.

Breakfast was good. Other than that, place was not very good and wouldn’t recommend. No working air condition in room 2 nights I stayed. Was hot and stuffy. Bathroom so narrow and tiny. Have to walk sideways. No counter space in bathroom. No Kleenex. Shampoo made my hair gross. Towel had someone's black hairs in it. First receptionist was rude. I was checking in and some others came to checkout. She asked me to wait to help them after she was already helping me. When I came back downstairs to ask her something, another couple was checking in but she completely ignored me and didn’t give me the same courtesy. The guy who checked me out around 5am was half asleep. Alberto was nice and gave some good suggestions on things to see in the area. Other guests in hotel were very noisy late in the night and early in the morning. Very rude. Area around hotel was nice and quiet.

Room is very tight. Shower stall seeped water causing puddles on the floor after each shower. However, staff was amazingly friendly, offering dining options and recommending different routes to landmarks to avoid crowds.

Great room with a very spacious bathroom. The furnishings are modern as well. The location was conveniently close to the train station as well. The only minor issue we had was we couldn't turn off the ac fan. But we should have called down to see what can be done about that.

The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with a warm smile. I wish it had been more soundproof – it wasn’t soundproof at all. You could hear people walking past, talking in other rooms, closing and opening doors, etc. Simply not soundproof at all. At a 4-star hotel, one expects not to be woken up by the slightest noise.
The hotel was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and welcomed us with a warm smile. I wish it had been more soundproof – it wasn’t soundproof at all. A short walk from the train station and also very close to the "water bus" it is convenient. Located down an ally it is also quiet. Only downside was the bathroom and shower facilities are tiny. You will find it difficult to get charged in there and two people can not pass each other. Breakfast was included and delicious and staff were very nice and helpful

Our stay at The Venice Times was wonderful. The location, right near Venezia Santa Lucia Station, could not have been better! The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. We really enjoyed the hotel breakfast, too! All the staff were incredible kind. We will absolutely be back to stay at The Venice Times again!

This hotel is a good option for a family of four. It’s a stone’s throw from the Grand Canal and quieter than the even more touristy area of San Marco. It’s a 10 minute walk from the taxi/bus drop off point. The room was spotless with clean sheets and towels daily. The bathroom we had was very narrow but the shower was decent. The whole room had a modern feel to it. The staff were very helpful and friendly although I suspect some of their recommendations were commission-based. Had the hotel been based in a standard British city, they wouldn’t get away with the pricing but for Venice, it was probably fair. I can’t comment on the food as we choose to eat out. Overall, not an amazing hotel but a very good one for our first time in Venice with the family.

From the moment of our arrival, I’ve never felt so welcomed to a hotel. Alberto greeted us with a smile and was so pleasant. He checked us in but he didn’t inundate us with too much information. He said come back after unpacking and then he’ll give more information about Venice. He then gave us information about where to eat and what to visit since this was our first time in Venice. We had delicious food at the restaurant he recommended and even followed his suggestions on what to order. All the staff were so friendly. I wish I asked for more names. Alberto is the nicest man. He is so helpful with all of your needs. He is at the top of his game when it comes to places to eat for lunch and dinner. The breakfast at the hotel is great. Many options to choose from. Cleanest nicest rooms and so safe feeling. They kept our bags for us til we was ready to leave. They locked them up for us. We will be back to stay as soon as we can.

Our stay at The Venice Times was wonderful. The location, right near Venezia Santa Lucia Station, could not have been better! The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. We really enjoyed the hotel breakfast, too! All the staff were incredible kind. We will absolutely be back to stay at The Venice Times again!

Breakfast was good. Other than that, place was not very good and wouldn’t recommend. No working air condition in room 2 nights I stayed. Was hot and stuffy. Bathroom so narrow and tiny. Have to walk sideways. No counter space in bathroom. No Kleenex. Shampoo made my hair gross. Towel had someone's black hairs in it. First receptionist was rude. I was checking in and some others came to checkout. She asked me to wait to help them after she was already helping me. When I came back downstairs to ask her something, another couple was checking in but she completely ignored me and didn’t give me the same courtesy. The guy who checked me out around 5am was half asleep. Alberto was nice and gave some good suggestions on things to see in the area. Other guests in hotel were very noisy late in the night and early in the morning. Very rude. Area around hotel was nice and quiet.

We has a fabulous stay at The Venice Times Hotel for 2 nights. Alberto the reception manager was competent and entertaining at the same time as he introduced the various places to go in Venice, as well as answering whatever queries we have for him over the 2 days. Eldr the lady at the breakfast place was also warm and meticuolous in her work, keeping tabs on details and preferences such as how we want our daily coffee done and always keeping an eye to ensure we enjoyed our meals. The location is also superb if you come by train, just a 3 minutes’ walk away in a quiet spot where we can rest fully. Will definitelt stay at this place again the next time we are in Venice.

We had a lovely stay at The Venice Times hotel. The hotel has a great location and is only a short walk away from Piazzale Roma (a major bus/train stop right outside of the inner city). This made both accessing public transpiration so easy and transporting our bags to the hotel as quick and convenient as it could be. The building was very nicely designed, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. While the hotel is nestled into a quite side street, there are many restaurants, shopping opportunities, sightseeing destinations and more just a short walk away. It was truly a perfect accommodation for what we were looking for. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Venice!

This was such a lovely hotel for our stay in Venice. The hotel was pretty, cozy, warm and comfortable and a huge plus was how quiet the room was! Excellent location near the train station and water boat stop, easy to walk and just off the Main Street so not too busy. Highly recommend.

A beautiful hotel which is so tastefully furnished and clean and like new. The breakfast is included and is very good with hot and cold options. The staff were really helpful and friendly especially when we had to amend our flights and book taxi transfers etc. Would highly recommend.

Great location just a couple blocks from the train. Helpful front desk staff. The bar/restaurant was closed while we were there. Not a huge deal as there’s many restaurants nearby but would have been nice to have that option in the mornings and evenings. Located just down a side street off one of the main roads so it was quieter and less walking traffic to get in and out.

I\'ve been to Venice numerous times, and this was my first time at the Venice Times Hotel. It is very clean, safe area, and very close to the train station and waterways to take excursions. The only thing that I did not like about this hotel were (2) simple things. For one, upon check-in, they offer you a complementary drink if you opt out of housekeeping services, however, that "drink" is merely just a glass of house wine or beer. Secondly - the breakfast buffet is not continuously well-stocked, so if you\'re a late riser and enjoy breakfast late morning, not much food is left to select from. Otherwise, a beautiful hotel in an excellent location!

Much nicer then some reviews portrayed. Breakfast was plentiful, but costs extra. Location is what seems to be an alley, but is a typical street in Venice. It is an easy walking distance from the train station, but very quiet. I never heard any of the other guests, and the hotel was full. I highly recommend the Venice Times hotel.

Stayed here for just one night. Great location for our purposes, as it was right near the train and bus depots. Charming hotel, but our room was a little small. That was fine for a night but I think for a longer stay we would've opted for a bigger one. All in all, I'd recommend for the price and location though!

Minha estadia foi impecável! Do começo ao fim! Além do hotel ser lindo, super bem cuidado, ter cama, travesseiros e chuveiro excelentes... a equipe faz com que a experiência seja inesquecível! O gerente na recepção a todo momento querendo ajudar, indicando lugares pra ir e para comer, uma pessoa muito simpática é incrível! No café da manhã também, além de ser uma delicia, oa funcionarios são tão gentis e amorosos que nos sentimos "em casa"

The hotel is in a lovely location, close to the station but tucked down an alley. It feels small and well designed and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms were a good size and were nicely decorated. Only down side was the check in which was very slow.

Thank you to Nassim at the front desk for assisting me with an emergency. Breakfast staff working efficiently to provide cappuccinos in the morning to hotel guests, location is excellent and convenient to train station, bed very comfortable.
