Started off bad when we saw the sign on the door that the outdoor pool was closed. When I asked why I was told the pool is “seasonal”. Please note that we were there on June 28th and it was 93 degrees outside. It was not listed anywhere on the website that the pool was closed so my kids were not happy. If the pool is not open in the middle of summer, I’m not sure when it is. The elevator seemed to be on its last leg and was gross. There were beer bottles and bottle caps throughout the hallway floors and sitting on ledges. The ice machine was pouring water out all over the floor. When we closed and locked our door, there was a crack big enough to see right into our room. Lastly, happened to look in the little closet the next morning and there were 2 bags full of stuff left behind. When I told the front desk upon checkout, they said we shouldn’t have been given this room as it is reserved for GM’s.

Minimal breakfast options. Hotel and room are in need of an update. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT using the elevator at the back of the hotel. The key/arrow pad was sunken into the wall which looked sketchy to begin with and should’ve been my sign to take the stairs. When we stepped onto the elevator to go to floor 2, the elevator went up just a bit and dropped sharply. Granted, we were on the first floor when we got on and there were not any lower levels to drop to (or none that I can recall but considering the event that occurred, there could’ve been an elephant in there with my son and I and I would’ve still been near cardiac arrest due to the sharp and sudden drop alone). When we arrived to the second floor and to our room with soft spots on the below average clean floors and dinged up walls severely in need of a fresh coat of paint (or a demolition crew to take the hotel all the way back to its factory settings I was eventually able to rest without any loud noises which was a positive. The bed and pillows were satisfactory and there was also a large refrigerator (no freezer inside it) and a microwave available in the room which came in useful. The online check-in, upload your ID, and secure an incidental payment in advance process was a waste of time as we still had to spend time waiting in line while only one staff checked at least 10 other people in. You can’t just walk up and request your key as implied in the email sent out prior to arrival.

Overall rundown facility. Over flowing trash dumpster by parking. Dirty shower, sticky floors. Chose this one for the pool. After pay now option, arrived to find the pool out of order and non refundable

The room was very big and nicely furnished. The breakfast was good they have a lot to choose from. The pool and gym were closed which was disappointing. Our room was near the side entrance door and it slammed shut 50 times during the night.

Overall the property was average. The room (2 beds) was clean and decorated very nicely, breakfast was respectable with all the diverse options, and there was plenty of public areas to relax. Customer service was respectable and most needs were met in a timely manner successfully. However, I was disappointed that the internet would only connect to cell phones and not laptops. I was also disappointed that the pool and weight room was out of commission and was not made aware to the public.

Property was under construction and a complete mess, pool was closed, work out area closed, limited elevators. Strong smell of pot in halls. Room phones non functional and no internet! The floors in rooms were DIRTY..our socks were black! Shower water barely warm even on full hot. Ink pen writing all over our bottom white sheet. I would avoid this property until construction is complete. I feel like when a property is in this much of a mess it should be disclosed prior to booking, or at least close areas under construction.

They were very friendly and the room was updated and nice! Plenty of options for parking and polite staff. only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the exterior door would not lock/latch during our stay despite it supposedly needing the key card to enter and having signs saying it would stay locked 24/7

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was dirty, with visible flying insects, making it completely unhygienic. The hallway was filled with dirt. When I reported it, the staff was unhelpful and simply offered a "I’m sorry." It was so bad that I ended up checking out a day before. I do not recommend staying here.

The room was terrible. There were blood splatters on the floor. There were other bodily things on the floor. The door wouldn't lock. There were "questionable people" leaving the hotel when my daughter was walking into the hotel.

The pillowcases on the bed were dirty and I found hair on the fitted sheet when i pull back the covers, stains were on the hand towels and the shower had black residue on the floor of the shower

Easy check-in. The back exit door was open most of the time until I shut it, which was interesting because you need a room card to get in, but it was wide open. The hallway literally smelled like someone was smoking a blunt the entire time we were there. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, it had hair all over it and the couch had so many stains on it, I had to cover it with a sheet before I sat on it.

There was a sock in the middle of the floor and the furniture was disassembled. The room had clearly not been cleaned well. The hallways were filthy. The carpet seemed as though it hadn’t been vacuumed since before we knew what covid was. Front desk worker was very helpful and there was construction going on, I think, but the property is currently a dump.

Facilities were poorly maintained. Rooms were nice and modernized but I did see a few German cockroaches. The halls smell like weed and you'll definitely see a few drug baggies laying around on the ground. If your looking to score some dope this is probably the place for you.

There is more didnot like than like. No instructions on how to turn on the tv. The room looks updated but not the electrical. The light switch at the entrance has to be turned on to operate the tv. No toilet paper, no hot water at the sink. Only one hanger in the closet, couldn't hang up clothes, no hook to hang anything in the bathroom. Their is a panel in the flooring between the beds that is coming loose. Might pose a tripping hazard. Our night check in host was very kind and we appreciated her answering any questions that we had. We were going to check out later than 11am but was not told at check in that it would cost us an additional $55. After observing the choices for breakfast we decided to check out by 11am and locate somewhere to eat breakfast.

The room was large and the air conditioner worked great. Breakfast was decent. We were in one of the suites that had a living room area and a separate bedroom with a door that closed. The living room had a sleeper sofa. The hotel was clean. The only complaint I had was the TV in the living room did not work but the TV in the bedroom did. We were only there for one night so it didn’t really matter.

The room looked very clean. There are no drawers in the room. There are 2 closets but only a total of 9 hangers. So there was no where to put the clothes. We did have a piece of furniture fall. I was trying to move it to get something i dropped and it fell. Luckily I moved my feet. It was nog screwed together. The knob to the closet came off as well. Now, it was a decent stay. Room clean. If I had to come back through, I would stay again. Clean but cheap lookong in the room. (We joked it was a temu room) for the price, it did what we needed it to do and was super clean. Breakfast was not good at all.

This LaQuinta was undergoing renovations but the room I had was still clean and in good conditions. Things I didn't care for was the lack of hot water and the walk-in shower area. There was no way to stop the water from spreading on to the bathroom floor. This made the floor slippery.

Buy some insulation when you build a hotel! We could hear the guy across the hall all night talking and watching tv. I thought he was being loud and opened the door . . . it was the same volume as in the room. The bed was very squeaky and the wife and I woke each other up everytime we rolled over.

This La Quinta was probably a different hotel in the past. This hotel wasn’t your standard style La Quinta. The grounds were very nice. The check-in person was very accommodating and pleasant.The breakfast area was open and large, not confined.

No working television, which is probably one of the most important parts of a hotel room. I had to ask for a credit to my account when they should have simply offered one then I finally get the credit and they clearly don’t know how to put themselves in the Customer shoes. I drove 10 hours and then decided to stay at this hotel and the overall experience was 100% poor.

When you read about this hotel the first things they say are fitness room and breakfast. The fitness room is a storage room and NOT AVAILABLE..we checked in at 10 pm the lady at the desk told us breakfast in the morning starts at 6… We were at breakfast along with several other guests at 6, nothing was available…there was a man working but never said anything to any of us. About 6:20 another employee came in and he started talking to her, that is when we overheard him say breakfast doesn’t start until 7 because of the holiday…WHY wouldn’t he have told all of us that as we were all sitting there waiting and when I asked him about it starting at 7 and told him the lady last night said 6 he just said well she was wrong…and walked away.., So we left and had to purchase breakfast for ourselves although it was supposed to be included in our reservation

On our recent trip we stopped at two hotels. Our stay at La Quinta Inn was disappointing. It was not as clean as it should have been. There should have been more attention given to the bathroom, behind the door. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. I did not expect a big breakfast but more than what we had. Coffee, good. Eggs were cold, not even warm at 6:05 am. Meat? Nothing. The woman taking care of the breakfast did not seem to care about being there. No smile or response to a "good morning." Overall, the best I could give would be an "OK" for our stay.

Pool area had not been tidied up from day before. Rubbish on tables and dirty towels not collected. Gym has clearly been closed for some time and was full of shelving and other hotel fittings. We were not advised of this by expedia or the hotel staff. Very disapponiting as we are athletes and wanted to use the gym during our stay. Not enough hooks or hangers for clothes in the room. Bins in breakfast area were overflowing with rubbish and tables weren't being cleaned between meals.

I checked in online so when I got there it was quick and easy to get my key! The room was nice and clean! The bed was super comfortable the only thing I would change is the pillows they were super soft but the size of throw pillows and I had to use all 5 that was on the bed! I would prefer regular pillows! It was quiet at night! The shower was nice the water didn’t get quiet as hot as I like but it was good! The first morning I was there the breakfast was limited but I was down there at 6:05 because I had an early doctor’s appointment to get to! The second morning there were more options but it was 8:30 when I went down! The pool was nice and had loungers in the sunlight and in the shade! The courtyard was very nice! Check out was quick and easy! I chose this hotel because I had numerous appointments at UAB over the 2 days! It took me about 15 minutes to get to UAB hospital and Kirklin Clinic and it was easy to navigate and not to much traffic!

I loved our room, it was clean and spacious. Bed was not the best but it was better than others. Staff was very helpful with check in. However, i was extremely disappointed with the trash cans at breakfast were overflowing. You could not get anything in them, therefore people were leaving their trash on the tables.
