This is our go to hotel when my hubby and I need to escape the madness of home and kids. AMAZING breakfast with everything you can think of, including an omelet bar (hubs favorite) and the rooms are clean, great beds and pillows, beautiful hotel. Add happy hour Free drinks and you have yourself an experience, not just a stay.

Stay two nights for a couple of events nearby we were attending. Kids were disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance. Breakfast was great as they have a chef doing omelets as you like. $10 parking charge was kind of a bummer. Close to highways which was nice.

Staff were great. Shower head and pressure were poor. Pool is not very good and they use way too much chlorine. The smell is even strong in the fitness room. Breakfast was really good and the staff in that area are fantastic. Paying $15 a day for parking is a little ridiculous.

The pool was closed my entire stay, there was no shower gel in my room and I had to call 3x before anyone brought some. I wasn’t given drink tickets at checkin for happy hour and then was treated as if I was lying when I went to claim them the next day.

I stayed Thursday - Saturday. Sadly, the parking lot and surrounding areas were under Reno and they requested a $10 per day fee to park!, only 2 charging station for EV that are taken all the time!, a green scrunchy was found in my bed sheets!, many ceramic floor tiles near the elevator were cracked /dirty / old, carpet in my room was dirty and looked to be the original carpet was the hotel was built, one of my TV’s did not work, staff were nice though and the breakfast is great with the fresh made omelets!

Housekeeping was not good 1 Spare Blanket had hair in it and looked like dryed food 2 The refrigerator worked well but the installer either put the counter top way too low and it stuck out wouldnt fit 3 No creamer no stirred sticks for coffee 4 The bottle of hair conditioner was empty 5. Crumbs and dirt between the sofa and end table not a little a lot The coffee table had spilled food/drinks on it I have stayed in high end hotels before never that much neglect Who inspects the rooms ? The front desk check in said i had to pay a $30.00 deposits Well ok...whats it for, she told me it was if I ordered Room Service said there is $ 10.00 parking fee that would come out of the $30.00 deposit. WHAT !!!!! Sorry no photos Hilton/Embassy would not like my pictures Deposit was not on my checkout receipt I will keep watching my CC account

Everyone on the staff was really courteous; very positive and professional. Breakfast provided was terrific with lots of well-prepared, quality choices; except for the coffee, which was literally dispensed like a soda machine, not brewed or anything. Room was large and comfortable, with many amenities- microwave/fridge/sink area and a separate "living room" area with a big TV. I couldn\'t have asked for anything else! The room had a pleasant scent, too. However, it really didn\'t appear to be cleaned well. Lots of dusty surfaces, the floor of the white shower area definitely needed to be cleaned (with bleach) as well as the areas around the sink fixtures in the bathroom. The glass/mirrored surfaces looked \'wiped\' but not clean. It made me question the cleanliness of everything. Bed was comfortable but had a \'top\' sheet being used as a fitted sheet- not very professional. It was by no means an unpleasant stay, but I didn\'t expect those negative things from a Hilton/ Embassy Suites property. The hotel is in a remote, corporate area, so note that there is absolutely nothing near by but other corporate buildings. Please consider having a designated smokers\' area in a place other than the front entrance of the building; it was not very nice leaving and arriving each day/evening, having to walk through a crowd of people smoking and the entrance area smelled of cigarettes/smoke as soon as you stepped outside, even if no one was out there smoking.

Well, the staff was friendly, that was all. We ended up not staying because initial inspection of our room showed huge stains, spider webs, spiders, cobwebs, dust bunnies, snot, and boogers on the headboard, pee on the floor around the toilet. Toilet was dirty inside. Nail clippings on the bed. I explained to the staff this was booked in error as we usually stay closer to our destination, and they gladly refunded our money. But....the more serious issue was the aforementioned disgusting state of the room, hallway, elevator, and we heard discussions about cable being disconnected. Do not even consider staying here.

The room had trash in the basket when we got in, no toilet paper on the roll, dirty floor in the bathroom with shaved hairs and a piece of eyelash, so you could tell it was not cleaned. There was dust all over the furniture too. There was mold in the shower and the facility itself was dirty and not well taken care of. For the price of the room, I would expect better.

The stay was fine. Loud music in the center atrium until about 10pm (Fri & Sat night). Made my outer suite pretty useless in the evenings. Had to go in the bedroom and shut the door. The disrespect me and my family endured during our stay is unheard of!! The bar staff was completely rude to us with colored skin but was smile and giggles to the other race!!!!! I don’t want to make this a race thing but that was very uncomfortable, and they was talking to use with rude tones!

We arrived at the hotel for check in around 4:30 pm and were told our room was not ready because "staff booked off and the night before was sold out, so there are no extra linens". We were not given a time to come back just told to keep coming back to see if the room was ready. We were finally able to check in at 8:30 pm. Our room had no toilet paper, no hand towels, and no bedding for the pull out. The floor was dirty and there were used towels in the bathroom. The pool water was merky and then closed for the second day of our stay. We were told it would be open the day of check out but it was not. We were also charged for a "self parking fee" that we were not aware of following check out. This was not communicated to us at check-in or check out time. The woman doing the laundry Saturday evening was very kind and quick to respond. The staff working the breakfast was very friendly and the food options were great.

I purchased 6 bottles of champagne from the hotel lobby. The bartender gave them to me unopened. I asked him can he opened them and give me 40 champagne glasses. He stated he didn't have that many. So he gave me what glasses he had and didn't offer to pour not glass, he just pushed the cart of glasses to me. Which many of them was dirty. Totally unacceptable, needless to say i made his tip reflect the poor service!!

The front desk staff and the breakfast were amazing! The housekeeping staff was poor. Booked two rooms for two nights and asked to have the one room cleaned after the first night, never happened. Asked for fresh towels and more toilet tissue, never got it, had to go to the front desk and retrieve myself. I brought some glasses for drinks in our room and the cleaning crew took one of them, probably thinking it was one of theirs. Overall a nice hotel but housekeeping is terrible!

This was our second time staying at this property. This trip had us reconsidering the decision to continue to stay at this location. We had an issue with noise. Staff were rude, and unhelpful when we brought the concern to them. When she said she couldn’t help, we respectfully asked to speak to someone who could, she refused. Room was clean but so are many other properties. After interacting with the rude and unhelpful staff we will be staying somewhere else for our next trip.

The room was very nice and the staff was friendly and did their job well. The hot breakfast was good, and we love the free happy hour you get with any embassy suites. However, at others we got free snacks and this one only had some vegetables with ranch. Others have had chips, pretzels, popcorn even nachos. While the vegetables are fine, there was no other selection, and it didn't work with having a son with autism who wouldnt touch it. Also, the restaurant was closed so we didn't have another option. We reserved a later dinner time to take advantage of the happy hour and snacks, and shouldn't have... Also, a major issue was the pool was closed. Had we known, we wouldn't have stayed there with our kids on spring break. We booked literally the day before and there was no indication there would be no pool.

My wife and I use to frequent this property pre-covid and everything was wonderful. We decided to visit again as we brought our daughter to her first Pistons game and everything is just as great as we remembered. We were able to check in early and came to a room that was clean and had noticeable improvements. The breakfast options, especially the made to order omelets, are the best out of most of the hotels around. A small touch that many hotels do not have nor consider is having almond milk to accompany cereal or oatmeal. As someone who cannot have regular milk, this small gesture went a long way. We look forward to our next trip to Troy/Detroit; in which we will stay here again!
