The property and staff we great, rooms were very nice, pool was lovely, breakfast was a true delight each morning. Excellent variety and delicious! Any person working was very friendly and helpful. Loved Pop Stroke next door and the restaurant right next door was excellent as well. The only issue I had was our room was musty smelling, not sure if it was because of the pool right out the window or there was a water leak due to the air conditioning but otherwise I would definitely stay there again. 5 star place!

The staff here is amazing, tops as to courtesy and service, especially Ms. Gwen in the dining area, Q and Garrett in the reception area. The rooms were clean, quiet hallways, awesome comfy lobby for having family visit or just watch ball games. Also, although this is located near a golfing amusement area, it's quiet enough inside that you don't hear the music. HIghly recommend, reasonable prices and best quality staff and service.

Make sure to read for all charges especially if you are bringing a pet. I was told at check-in there is a small pet fee but was not told the amount and my mistake I did not ask. After we checked out I received my receipt by email and found there is a $75 non-refundable pet fee. The hotel is nice but needed updating and the pool was closed on Sunday.

Guest services at this hotel was fine. The breakfast area was well prepared and attendant was awesomely pleasant. Parking at this location was very easy and nearby restaurants were very good. Getting around town was very easy. Awesome stay.

Warm greetings by the front-desk staff, clean property, delicious hot breakfast offering, and fresh-baked cookies served at night in the lobby all made for a delightful stay! Convenient location to the university and plenty of free parking in the well-lit lot. This property is a gem!

The people at the front desk were exceptionally friendly. The rooms were super clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The lawn had a magnolia Grove and a place to spread out for a picnic, and the lobby is welcoming and comfy, especially to watch the NCAA basketball games! Highly recommend.

Felt very safe as two female travelers. Room was in great condition, looks like it was recently remodeled. Bathroom had a bit of mold on the edges, but it was tolerable. Breakfast was as expected...hotel lobby smells funky but again, tolerable. Staff was very friendly!! Will likely stay there again for the convenience location to UA

The room was clean & beautiful, but it smelled musty & moldy. We should have asked for a different room but we thought it would get better after we were there awhile. It didn’t. I woke up with a sinus headache & congestion, my husband's asthma was greatly affected too. I doubt we would stay there again.

The girl working the desk when we arrived was amazing! Super friendly and went out of her way to help us find a luggage cart. The room was great for the 3 of us. Bathroom was huge compared to other hotel rooms which helped when my teenage daughter and I both needed to get ready! Close to Univ of Alabama!

I drove from Atlanta to Tuscaloosa for my grandson's graduation and to spend time with my daughter and her family. The two ladies that greeted me at the front desk were happy, smiling and so welcoming. They assured me that the type of room I requested was available and my necessities were met. The entrance area was huge and well kept. I requested a single queen and that was exactly what I got. When I entered my room it felt welcoming and was very clean as was the bathroom, which had more towels than I would use for the entire length of my stay. There was a hair dryer, bottles of body lotion, shampoo, etc. No sample/travel size, but full 16oz bottles! The room was very nice. There was a small fridge, microwave, single cup coffee maker, dresser, closet with iron and ironing board, desk, comfortable chairs and a large TV that even had a screen welcoming me by name. Never had that before. The bed was soooo comfortable as were the pillows. I slept VERY well which rarely happens for me. I didn't think about taking pictures until after I brought all my bags into the room and had started unloading my things. Not only was the interior of the hotel clean and inviting, the grounds and parking lot were well maintained. Overall, I was so impressed with this hotel. I've never stayed in a Hampton Inn before this, but I plan on booking with Hampton Inn from now on.

Although my Mom broke her foot, we had a very pleasant stay. Kershawn (Curshawn) was very helpful and provided us with a wheelchair until we could get our own. Tatiana was attentive to our needs, and Danielle was gracious in giving us a little extra time to check out. The breakfast was fantastic as well! We would definitely stay again.

We came for a basketball camp at University of Alabama. The head coach had called prior and spoke to someone about room charges. He was told a specific amount. Once the parents, coaches, and team arrived with a check already made out front he school - the room fees were much more and ended up having to pay an extra $340 than expected.

Daytime front desk woman was very nice and helpful. Trying to get in and out of parking lot was terrible. Construction workers working next door were parking their equipment in the driveway of the hotel making it dangerous to enter and exit.

We were visiting Tuscaloosa to look at the University of Alabama, and shows the hotel for its proximity to campus. All interactions with staff were warm and friendly, and despite the hotel being busy with other prospective students and incoming homecoming guests, it was quiet and calm at night. The only thing that I can think of that might impact that is the construction project that is starting at the property next-door.

PRO - The property was very nice and the accommodations in the room were good. The pool looked nice but we did not get a chance to use it. CON - They had a sign in the breakfast area that said ask for assistance for dietary concerns, but when we asked for a Gluten Free breads they said they don't have anything to cater to dietary concerns. Bold face lie.
