Wingate by Wyndham North Little Rock

The TV would not work. I went down to the front desk and the clerk was very rude. Breakfast was late and we had to get on the road. The hotel was under construction so it was loud late into the day. Came here for the hot tin listed.... THERE IS NO HOT TUB!!

I will not be staying here again. First room my wife, myself and my 3 year old had plaster from remodeling everywhere. On the floor, bed, nightstand, TV and chairs. Only thing that didn’t have plaster on it was the bathroom. I also found leftover chicken breading from whoever stayed there the last. I did go down to the front desk to ask for a different room. They did change room to one that had cups and plates still in the room from the last people that stayed. I went back down to tell them we aren’t staying in that one either. They finally got us to a clean room, but the TV didn’t work the whole time we were there (2 nights). The pool was also not clean and the pump was not running. The pool was so foggy that you couldn’t see your feet when you stood in it. The workers at the desk did what they could to help, but it was just an awful experience.

Parking is small

The staff in general was not friendly they weren’t openly dude, but it didn’t seem like they wanted to help or just generally ignored all guest. The continental breakfast seemed like it was literally just thrown together to meet the bare minimum requirements and you were only allowed to eat the food their lobby. We didn’t realize until we left remove the sheets and the beds were stained and extremely disgusting. The facilities were not well-maintained or cared for the pool was never really clean and I’m pretty sure my son got a rash from sleeping on there beds. The room had very little light but the only positive I can say is that the air conditioner works very well other than that it was horrible.

The pool needed maintenance

No hot tub as advertised. Filthy room. Very unsafe area. Would not recommend

We got a double queen room. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. Everything was very suitable for our needs. The fitness center was quaint but good enough. The breakfast was good.

Parking lot was trashy, there was a roach in the bathroom, and no hottub even though it said they did online.

Entire first floor and part of the lobby are under construction and workers are playing music loudly while they work. Pool water is clear but lots of leaves and debris in the pool. Exercise room is half painted with painters tape still on several of the trim pieces. 3rd floor had a strong smell of curry. Room had clean sheets and towels. Bed was comfortable. Paint in the bathroom was sloppy with runs, drips, and errors easily visible. Shampoo bottle was tiny with enough only for 1 shower. I would not stay here again.

There were dirty eyelashes on the counter when we got into our room. We told them and they just said sorry. The shower has full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Awesome, but one of them was completely empty. Also, it said there was a hot tub. None on site and not even any bathtubs. So, that was sad. Other than that, all was good.

First room smelled like urine when I walked in and saw a cockroach. Turned around and asked for a new room. Smell was better but all I could think about was the roach so didn’t sleep well after that . Not the cleanest

Convenient location, easy check in/out, comfortable beds. Room had something sticky ground into the carpet in front of the TV in several places and socks would stick to it when you walked through that area, so no way I would walk around without socks on. Gross. Halls smelled like someone was trying to cover up a smell with way too much air freshener.

I have photos to confirm my discontent. This was the nastiest place I have ever stayed. There was food frozen in the minifridge, our feet stuck to the carpeting as we walked, the sofa was so badly stained I would not even set my bag down on it. The ONLY thing that appeared decently clean was the bed ...which we inspected thoroughly, and set all our things on one side of the bed and slept on the other with towels under us as well. The tv did not work and the SMOKE DETECTOR HAD A PLASTIC BAG TIED AROUND IT...is that even LEGAL??? BEYOND dissappointed, but I was there for brain surgery follow up and simply could not take being in the car any longer due to pain or we definitely would have left! SOOO disgusting!

Room needed to be vacuumed and tub needed scrubbing. Other than that the place is alright.

The place was absolutely horrible and dirty. The sheets looked like they have never been cleaned and floor was not vacuumed at all.

They made us pay a 60 dollar deposit upon arrival and never returned it. The room had mold and it was dirty. We only stayed one night but it’s was uncomfortable due to cleanliness

I was horrified how filthy the bathroom fixtures, carpet, and how musty the room smelled! The area setup for breakfast was totally yuky!!! It did not represent online photos and ratings at all!!!

Good location on the highway but enough back from the traffic to be quiet. Killed 2 cockroaches in the room and notified them. After 11pm they offered to change our room. Too late. Woke me up with that message and I'm pretty sure if there are cockroaches in one room, they're not confined to that ONE room. Hope they hire an exterminator

Outside hasn’t been cleaned in a long time. Entrance, elevator and main hallway were not clean. Carpet on upper floors smelled like a curry. Room appeared to be cleaned with dirty rags. Spouse had to Re-clean the room and bathroom. Shower curtain had to be changed out by staff. Mold around edges.

Property was not as pictured! Pictures show the room nice and clean when in fact it’s in very poor condition. Very dirty rooms and no clean the first room the desk gave it had dirty trash still in trash can and very dirty and so we looked at a second room and it was worse and they said they had a suite we could look at and it was the last room so we looked and it was still dirty but we needed somewhere to sleep! This property needs a deep cleaning, corners cleaned in rooms, carpet removed, new clean curtains

Old and outdated but it's a decent property. They seem to be trying to fix it but it's got a ways to go, seems like an old building. Very nice staff though and clean overall at least in the rooms. Nice TV. Good for the price.

They need a remodel bad. Smells bad and alot of traffic in the hallway that can be heard in the room. The breakfast was old and not prepared fresh. If you have other hotel options try them first

They put me in a room with no hot water and they knew it didn’t have hot water! Didn’t tell me till that morning that the first and second floor had no hot water

The desk chair in that room is very dangerous. When I sat in it, I immediately fell backward onto the floor. The very same thing happened on my previous stay in a different room. It also appeared that the side lever to adjust the chair was broken in both cases. I would be concerned if an elderly or disabled person sat in chair it could result in serious injury. The chairs need to be fixed, replaced or moved out. Note: I did not say anything to management about it while I was there but it occurred to me that I should have when I got this survey.

Centrally located to everything in North Little Rock. Check in and out process was extremely quick and cohesive. The rooms were spacious, but the interior seemed a little worn. The bed were extremely plush and comfortable and the room includes both a fridge and microwave

The TV doesn’t work, I asked someone at the desk and they said it was weather. The TV was working in the lobby and the sky was clear. The door has to be pushed very hard to close all the way because it is warped. Finally, the floor looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed.

Burnt out light bulbs we couldn’t get replaced AC was leaking into the room the carpet was wet from the AC

I stayed overnight on business. My room was nicely appointed, clean and surprisingly quiet ( I was on the 1st Floor which in my experience isn’t usually quiet). The WiFi was extremely good (again something I’m not accustomed to). And the free breakfast was pretty good. All-in-all I’ll go back next time I travel to Little Rock. Great value for the money.

The hotel was under renovation. My room was very dark. I opened the curtains for light and all there was, was an outside wall, so no lighting. The new lights next to the bed did not work, so they put an old lamp there for use. The Shower did not work. Only light in bathroom was the light around the mirror, which was very faint (no makeup today). There was no shampoo/conditioner/lotion in the bathroom, and no exhaust fan. The renovations that were done, were not at all professional....too much caulk around everything, and the carpet could have used some vacuuming. The elevator was dirty, I'm guessing from the renovations. Will not be staying there again....

Furnitures Inside the room are old and some even broken

When we check in they gave us our card went to the room open door and someone was already rented the room then went to office and she gave another room and someone was in there to 3 room was open for us . It was not a well stay . All we got was sorry my system must not update . Felt like we should been done little more

The staff charged me for a deposit fee of $60. It did not pend at all, rather it was charged. I then called back and reported the incident 3 times. After the 3rd call I was charged another $60 then a received a -$60 credit, which did not resolve the initial charge of $60. I will have to dispute this with my CC company. Beware!

Front desk staff not very friendly. We tried to check in a little early because we had been traveling for so long but the front desk staff wouldn’t entertain the idea. Which I didn’t mind because I knew what time check in was, but the hotel was empty and he was on his cell phone and seemed bothered to help. When we did check in we noticed hotel was under construction, which we didn’t know ahead of time. The hotel was a mess. The other staff again did not seem very friendly. The room was ok, did not feel very clean. There was no fire detector on the wall just exposed wires, no outlet covers, the furniture was very stained, and the room was very dark. They only give two towels for party of 4. It was ok for one night but would not stay again. It may improve once the renovations are done.

The staff were not helpful and not kind. I walked in and I thought the person sitting in the dinning area was a customer. Come to find out it was the staff member that was supposed to check me in. They could not find my name for a reservation which was upsetting. When I did get to the room it smelled like cigarettes and bread and butter pickles. Also I found a cockroach by my TV. Very let down at this property.

What impressed me the most was the friendliness of the staff. It is an older hotel and could use some renovations. But the bed was comfortable and the price of a nightly staff was reasonable.

Missing a lot of the room amenities. Customer service was very poor, staff not friendly and she was supposed to be the supervisor.

My stay was pretty good, they had a good breakfast and their rooms have gotten a lot better. The evening staff was okay, but there was a lady by the name of Tiffany at the front desk that was not very pleasant and we were there for 4 straight days. They charged us a $60 security deposit every night and when we turned the key in and asked for our deposit back she argued that my husband did not leave one because she was there when he checked in. It ended up she had the wrong person which was fine. It was the way she handled it she lacked customer service and was not pleasant at all. My husband stated she was rude every day to him and on the last day I saw it for myself.

No one minding breakfast bar. Eggs were gone when we got there at 8 am. A rating of 2 would be more appropriate.

The staff is really amazing and made sure we had a great experience. The room we originally booked didn't have the pull-out sofa bed that we thought it would have, so they kindly offered to switch us to another room that worked out better. Room was clean and all appliance worked, cooling system worked great and we were very comfortable.

It was a decent hotel in a bad area.

This is our go-to hotel to stay in for Anime Fest and Comic Con. It's a quick drive to the statehouse convention center but even more important, close to amenities like the grocery store & restaurants. The staff is really nice.

The breakfast did not include any juice. Just water and milk. The food was also old. Not fresh. The water pressure in the shower was extremely low. It took forever to get through a shower. Did not have a good experience.

Breakfast was a little cold and not much of it left. We went at 8:30.

Easy to find, breakfast was nice with selections.

It took 15 minutes for the hot water, the coffee machine was broken, the coffee in the buffet was cold, the bowed shower curtain put water all over the floor and the breakfast was fair.

This property was ok. Several mistakes made with the reservations, breakfast was not good, was not as clean as other Wyndham properties I've stayed at before. It feels like they are running on a shoe string budget; seems like they are extremely short staffed and it shows in the overall experience.

I was worried about staying here after seeing the reviews. Here are my observations; Whatever is making the overwhelmingly strong perfumed smell around the check in area needs to be either stopped altogether or replaced with something MUCH less strong. I had to kind of hold my breath at check in and still ended up having an asthma attack by the time I reached my room. It is offensively strong. I don't know if it is a plug in, incense or what but it is an incredibly strong scent and not good for anyone with allergies or breathing problems. The painting of the trim black in the hallway and rooms was a good idea. However, it looks like it was done in haste and with no skill. It actually takes away from the appearance of the decor. It gives the impression that the building is poorly kept. It would be worth the time and expense to have it touched up. The poor paint job gives a Very bad impression. The hallway was the worst, but it was true of our room too. The rooms are actually nicely appointed with good furniture and tasteful decor. The beds are nice as well. But the shoddy paint job makes it look bad. Don't let an easy fix be the cause of lost tenants. I didn't go to breakfast, but my husband said it was just awful. The few things offered were improperly prepared. Either under or over cooked to the extreme. The coffee was poor. A small breakfast is fine. But it has to be done properly with quality offerings. Invest in good coffee, even if you have to have a Keurig.
