Phoenix is a great city! Felt very safe. Valet parking was a fair price and very convenient. The hotel is nice but the elevators were having issues and it sometimes took 15 min to get on. The elevators were such an issue that we took the stairs (which were not clearly marked) a few times… TO THE 10th FLOOR!! We would stay here again though (if the elevators are working). The rooms were very clean. We had to ask the front desk for housekeeping to reset our room … then it was done right away. Overall it was a nice stay with a few hiccups.

I was expecting better from the Hyatt. The front desk was not very friendly, our first room was very noisy (we asked to move to another room), the bed was creaky, the pool shallow and dirty, the noise from the industrial monster fans in the pool area unbearable, the food in Bushel & Barrel just so-so, and valet parking almost $50 for one day.

Everything would have been nice but the confusion with parking was horrible. I paid $20 to park on one side of the hotel, then was told to move my car to another parking lot for another $32! All this was because of directions the staff gave me at valet & front desk? Unacceptable! $52 parking for a stay from 4-11 an 18 hour stay? I do not recommend the Hyatt!

Front desk staff was truly amazing and hospitable. Got to the elevators and they weren’t running properly, unfortunately. Hotel staff took us up in service elevator which was very kind. But it took some time to get everyone up in one elevator and it was definitely an inconvenience for us being late to an event. But kudos to the staff for trying to find a solution and do their best to help; they made the best of a bad situation

The elevators were having issues. Only 2 of 6 were working and waits were often 10 minutes or longer. Room was clean but an access panel to where the TV cords are was loose. The shower faucet was stuck. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were small and ths sheets were scratchy to the skin. If you were not an elite member, water provided in the room was $3 a bottle. Definitely not a 4 star sray even though the hotel is considered a 4 star. Location is excellent for downtown Phoenix events. Pool is very small and the hittub was tepid.

Although the place is 50 years old it should not smell like a water leak. You could smell the dampness/mold on every floor but the lobby/compass room. Also even though i thought i paid in full on Hotels.com i was tacked on an additional charge of $44..for what?! I brought my own H2o (refuse to pay 3.50 for 16oz of crap).

This was a very nice hotel and convenient to Chase Field. However, the bathroom has a barn door, which is really uncomfortable for its lack of privacy. Additionally, I was charged for my stay at checkout, even though I had prepaid through Expedia. The person who did this was not interested in finding out the truth. AND two customer service phone numbers on the receipt are bogus. One fails to connect and the other is a scam where it tries to get you to enter your age to sell you some kind of medical device. It’s absolutely shameful that a hotel chain like Hyatt is so careless or deceitful. My inquiry into billing is still pending. Even so, that does not excuse any of these factors.

The front desk wasn't very accommodating when we first checked in. We were given the wrong room and then when we asked to change to a king suite they charged us $10 more per day even though a king suite was what we originally booked. We spent a lot of money to stay there and it seemed silly for them to charge us extra for their mistake. The bellman, Richie, was super kind and helpful so that improved our stay ☺️

The hospitality at the hotel was outstanding. My encounters with the staff were great. Their knowledge of the event happening there was horrible. There were several rooms occupied by vendors and meeting rooms. When asked of the location, I was given no answers, after a long hold I was told there was no event there for my organization, when in fact, we had the entire second floor. They should have been informed. Several people were late because of the misinformation or lack of correct information.

The Hyatt Regency was a gorgeous property in a GREAT location in downtown Phoenix. We walked to the hotel from Chase Field after attending a concert. In the walk along the way there were a plethora of bars and restaurants. Not a ton of homeless on the vicinity either. The valet parking was $10 more than the parking garage but worth it IMO. The valet guys were quick and efficient. My only complaint is we checked in at 3:15pm (instead of 4) and they only had “certain rooms available” at that time. We had no choice as we had to get to our event so our only option was to “upgrade to a balcony room” for $10 more. Ok that sounds nice, great city views….fine we will do it! Omg not worth it AT ALL I will attach a picture of our “view” from the balcony. We were on the 7th floor. Maybe balcony on the 15th floor and above would have been worth it. Otherwise the room was gorgeous and very clean. And the body wash smelled like heaven!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. We felt really safe and the service from start to finish at valet, checkin, etc. was amazing. The views are awesome of the city skyline and also mountainous valley. This is an ideal location in downtown Phoenix right across from Symphony Hall and the Convention Center. The restaurant downstairs with indoor/outdoor bar has EXCELLENT service, food and drinks, for a hotel and is not overpriced. The rooms are spacious and bed and pillows were super comfy! Definitely staying here again.

Great hotel for events at Phoenix Arena and Chase Field. Easy walk to both venues. A little snafu in Restaurant as we waited over an hour for a salad and pasta dish. Manager bought our meal but refused to come talk to us and made the bartender deal with our complaints. Loved the hotel staff and our room. We will stay here again.
