I arrived to check in and was turned away and asked to return at a later time because it was shift change. When I left, I walked out the door and there was a drug deal going on right there. This was a TERRIBLE hotel.

HOT the first room was hot ! ... there was paint brush on the table . Then i was given the options of another room . I moved to the other room . It was little better with the temperature, but still was not as you would expect in a motel or hotel . The furniture was outdated and this room didnt have a tv on the bedroom like the 1st room i was given ... i would not consider staying here unless it was during the months with better weather . But i would avoid at all cost in summer ... not worth it for the price and deposit required. THE STAFF WAS REALLY GOOD .

I had to go back to front desk 3x (dragging luggage outside in high heat). Front desk clerk sent security with me on final attempt. He showed me to insert and remove card quickly. I had been inserting and leaving key card, waiting for green light. Front desk clerk did not mention this and not on keycard. If directions were on door, it was too dark to see them. Room entrances from walkways. Poorly lit on 3rd floor - hard to see room numbers after dark. I was given a suite, which did not cool well due to excessive heat that day; one primary air vent in between living and bed rooms - carpet was soggy underneath. Drain cover in tub did not seal, so unable to take bath to cool off. Holes in walls in bedroom (pictures taken down?) and light bulbs burned out on exterior. I stay at Motel Six properties regularly. This is the least well maintained property I have ever stayed at. Only $55 per night on hotels.com a great price for near airport.

Unfortunately, this was the worst motel I've stayed in. Hair and debris on the bathroom floor told me that cleaning rooms between guests was not a priority. Stains *all* over the carpets. One of the chairs by the kitchen table had an absolutely disgusting looking stain i fear to identify. Sheets were stained too. Ceiling in the bathroom had a large tear along it. The room keys only worked some of the time. I got home from a concert late and had to ask the (kind and hepful) man up front for a new room key 2 or 3 times. After the third time the light turned red on me, I got frustrated, pounded the door, shook the handle... and *then* the light turned green. I could not get this success to repeat, and so I was just glad I'd be leaving the next morning, and wouldn't need to ask for a 4th room key.

The AC broke on me. I went to go ask to get switched rooms but they were doing some type of audit. I came back two hours later and they said they couldn’t give me another room because it’s I would’ve had to come earlier so I paid for a room with no AC in Arizona.
