Stay was great in terms of cleanliness and staff. The pool experience and the crowds there made the trip terrible. We could not find a single chair around the entire pool to sit in without paying to reserve one. We went down to the pool at 11:30-12pm for reference. We had to put our stuff on the concrete in a corner and hang out in the pool the whole time because there was no where to sit. Our party of 4 finally got a chair around 4pm. But we were close to leaving for dinner by then. For the price of the Marriott and most individuals staying here for the pool I would expect more non-reserved seats to be available without having to pay $500 additional for a half day cabana. Also parking is additional.

The two down falls about the property was that the hallway to the room was really warm all of the time and the water in the shower took a (long) while to heat up. The water park and sitting areas were immaculate. Tia restaurant was a great experience and wonderful food.

Loved the property - it was beautiful, clean, spacious. Rooms were not as nice as I would’ve liked but the cleanliness made up for it. Downside is the adult only pool options. I was told the adult only pool seating had to be reserved and when I looked it up it was an additional cost.

We checked into this hotel at the end of our trip to use the waterslides. The property itself is huge and doesn’t feel luxury in any way. The pool was grossly full, and I wouldn’t even allow my daughter in the lazy river due to the film and amount of people in it. The entire pool area was over crowded and there was trash and empty drinks everywhere. This is not at all what we were expecting. It felt like a really cheap all Inclusive hotel in Mexico, but the food and drinks were overpriced, low quality and more expensive than the Four Seasons in Scottsdale that offered beautiful grounds and exceptional service. Would not recommend!

The property is beautiful with many options for families. On the other hand, housekeeping needs to be much better in 5 start resorts. We stayed here for 8 days and the housekeeping was dismal. The food is excellent ! The staff is very friendly and courteous.

We got two rooms and one of our rooms had roaches that must’ve came out at night. When waking up in the morning we found 2 in our bathroom and scattered up the wall into a vent when the bathroom was in use. Made our stay afterwards like we were walking on eggshells.

The worst parts about this property was the room because our bathroom had a terrible odor that did not go away. It was quite disgusting and even though we told them, the problem still was not resolved. Also another barrier was the self parking distance to the property or front desk. We had to walk quite a distance every time we left. Lastly, everything is quite expensive and they charge extra service charges with everything you purchase. Other than that, the property was beautiful, staff friendly, and lots of activities.

We did 2 1-night stays as a stopover from San Diego to Sedona. The 1st day we stayed it was wonderful. The property had a lot of activities for kids. Very family friendly. We really enjoyed Tia Carmens and dined at the restaurant on both separate stays. The ambience was beautiful and the staff was amazing! However, when we ordered breakfast for room service on the 1st stay, the food was not cooked to our preference and was very cold. The man who delivered our food was very rude and seemed irritated he even had to deliver food to us. The 2nd day we stayed at the property and checked in, the room was smelly and hot. The AC was not turned on and the room wasn’t that clean.

The rooms were the quality of a Best Western! I expected more "WOW" factor in the accommodations. The grounds were awesome, and facilities were excellent. Overall, not worth $1100.00 per night!

We loved our stay here! The staff was wonderful! The room was a decent size, clean and the bed was very comfortable! We LOVED the lazy river and slides. We would definitely come back! Just get to the pool early to get a lounge chair!

Probably good for groups and conferences. We were on a getaway and it wasn’t great. Our room was really outdated. However, the spa treatments were awesome and fairly priced. Desk staff was pretty bad.

10 out of 10 would recommend! Our initial room had an issue and the AC went out on the area, they put us in a better room (same room, just a better view and it was in the main tower on the top floor) and refunded us $200! This was after they had already gave us $200 resort credit! Best vacation we've ever experienced, EVER!!! We'll definitely be back...

Here's a refined version of your review: --- The location is exceptional and the pool renovation was impressive. We paid over $1,000 for a suite for the evening, where the check-in, valet, and bell services were all exemplary. However, the service left much to be desired. For Mother's Day, we rented a cabana at over $1,000, which did not include any food or beverages. It took our server 45 minutes to greet us, and our initial food and drink orders did not arrive until 90 minutes after we were seated. Our server checked in infrequently, about once every 45 minutes to an hour, compelling us to often fetch our own drinks at the pool bar or rely on pool staff to take our orders on their phones. It was evident our waitress was overwhelmed, managing all the cabanas and chairs in our area by herself—a clear oversight in management’s staffing. Dining at the Asian fusion restaurant that evening proved mediocre. The food was average, and the service was lackluster. We ordered a kid's steak plate along with our main courses, but the child's meal arrived 25 minutes after the other entrees and was undercooked and tough. We chose to simply ask for the bill and leave. Despite its potential and renowned name, we found this property overpriced and underwhelming in service quality. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

This property is beautiful but the service is lacking. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are perfect. We had some great service in certain areas but in others like renting a cabana and pending top $$ they were very lacking in responsiveness.

We had a great staycation! The room was great as was the service! There were only 2 things we wanted to note; there were not enough servers in the Lazy River area. Quite a few of us and those around us waited almost 45 mins to and hour for a server to come by. The service was great when we got it but it was too busy without enough workers. Another note was the bottom of the Lazy River was very rough in quite a few places, the handles on one of the ladders only had one heat guard and it was very very hot making it hard to get out.

This property was truly beautiful. My husband and I moved here for a couple nights before heading up north. The check-in experience was quick and efficient, and our room was very comfortable. The property is very well taken care of and impeccably clean. The gentleman who helped with our bags up to our room was very friendly and nice to talk to, and we had a wonderful service out at the pool. Our only challenge that we had was the valet service. It was a little discombobulated when checking in and then the day that we were leaving, we found it impossible to get help with our bags from our room down to our lobby. my husband sat on the phone for quite a while, waiting for his call to be taken, so we ended up making the decision to lug all of our luggage down to our car ourselves. Definitely understand that places get busy and didn’t mind waiting but for an upscale property like that for us to wait on hold for I believe 15-20 minutes, was a little frustrating. We were actually checking out well before the designated checkout time. And the amount of luggage we had really did require some help and my husband has a bad knee so it really was a little difficult for us to lug everything down ourselves so that would be the only area I think could really use some improvement again, especially for such an upscale Resort Overall still a really wonderful property.

It was a breath taking experience to be there. The resort is situated in a beautiful area with gorgeous palm trees and other plants around. The swimming pools and water park provided excellent services. A shopping area is located within a walking distance and provides excellent access to many restaurants, bars and stores.

If you love golf and you have a family with kids, this is the place to go. Everything is in one location. There’s also a shopping area across the street that is easy to get to.!!!

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are helpful and pleasant. It is convenient for shopping and outside dining. There were many ammenities. If you plan to spend alot of time at the pool i recommend reserving a lounger or something. It was hard to find available seating. Not that it wasnt available you just had to walk around and look for it. But i was only one person. For a group it would be better to reserve. The private reserved areas looked beautiful. If you could affrd that i would recommend it. I lost my eye glasses in the lazy river and when i told the life gaurds they were right on it and found my glasses. Thank God. I was grateful for them. You will enjoy your stay here.

Very pretty property. I would like to suggest you don’t have people buy day passes for the pool. We pay a lot of money to stay at the resort. The menu by the pool is very costly with service fee/20%tip auto included. 2 lunch meals and 1 drink we split was $60. Rooms are nice size and pools pretty.

Fantastic accommodations for my wife’s 60th birthday party. The cabanas were awesome with very large living room with TV & great furniture with a very large bathroom too…HVAC was awesome to have for some of the older people that joined. The water park & lazy river were also a hit with kids and adults alike. Tia Carmen put on an amazing dinner for (40) probably the best steak & potato with absolutely the most amazing mole sauce I’ve ever had…all in all this place is a home run. It’s expensive but you get what you pay for and it surly didn’t disappoint!

The grounds were amazing. Beautiful hotel. Advertising queens when not queen's in room not cool. We literally went and bought a blowup full bed and it was the same exact size. Dont appreciate that. Wayyyy over priced also. 17 to 22$ for a cocktail or anything food wise is ridiculous . Infact the mark up that mich and price gouging families is disgusting. Sorry...
