Tremendous value. Nice breakfast with eggs and meat. The free shuttle within 2 miles to and from your destination is a thoughtful touch, especially in the summer heat. Would recommend without hesitation.

Hotel offers shuttle in a two mile radius once an hour-so convenient for those going to baseball games! Too hot to walk the 0.8miles-and not the best neighborhood to walk through to and from so for safety this was a great available benefit

The staff were awesome! Everyone was very friendly, helpful and available. The parking was easy and there were more than enough spots close to the rooms. I love how they had a shuttle to downtown that will also pick you up. The breakfast was your standard continental breakfast but it was still good quality and clean. I also appreciated the tea and hot chocolate they had out all night.

I thought I was booking a nice clean room for my family- the second we got here- they complained Hair in the bed- hair on the towels- shower from like 20 years ago- just not a pleasant environment. I would have happily paid more for better- but I thought I would at least get slightly above average in the cleanliness department.

This was the worst hotel for an overall experience. From the inattentive front desk, the smell in the room of wet dog, the mold in the shower and finally the lies the front desk said regarding the wrong size room our reservation was for.

The drains in sink and bath tub were not functioning the way they are intended to work. Staff is nice but all follow different rules(one person will let you cash in money for quarters for laundry, but the other person would say no. Bathroom was dirty in every area. Would not stay here again.

The bathroom was in poor condition — there were clear signs of mold, and a visible patch on the wall, which made it feel unhygienic and poorly maintained. But the worst part was the bedding: it was obvious that the sheets had not been changed before our arrival. The bed looked used, and there was even someone’s hair on the sheets, which was absolutely unacceptable. This level of cleanliness and care is simply not okay.

The hotel was perfect for my wife and I. It was walking distance to downtown, which was very convenient for our needs (about 20 minute walk to the stadiums and comedy club). The staff was very friendly and the breakfast in the morning was filling. The hot tub was great and the pool was clean. The room itself was clean and spacious. The bed was comfy and the pillows were soft. Overall, a great experience.

Motel is in an excellent location for going to a Diamondbacks baseball game. They provide a shuttle to and from the game. A decent breakfast (tough for most places to matcha Embassy Suites breakfast). The room layout is somewhat different, in that, the TV is "in the corner" in front of one of the queen beds. That brings up my only complaint for comfort: Everyone seems to have used that bed to sleep in and it was completely worn out. If I laid on my back, my tailbone felt like it was lying on a piece of wood. My wife had the good bed. I talked to the manager and she has indicated that I will receive another night free as compensation. Would have been 4.5 faces in not for the worst mattress I have ever slept on, including the ones in the Army barracks...

I was pleasantly surprised how clean the room appeared. It's a little dated but comfortable and met all my needs. The refrigerator came in handy. The parking is great, no charge. And I was 5 minutes from the Downtown ASU campus.

Nice breakfast options, but one of our mattresses had such a severe dip in it, my husband and I couldn’t share the bed. Luckily it was a double queen room. We were too tired at 11 when we checked in to change rooms. We just made the best of a bad situation.

Overall the property was just fine. The only drawback is the mattresses were in such beatdown, used, poor shape that I could barely function the next day since I couldn't get any sleep whatsoever. Nor did the family.

I was given a handicap room which I did not request, however the front desk person told me it was because I used a third party to make the reservation. The showerhead would not stay straight, and the bed felt like cardboard.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was in town for an International Church Women’s Convention. Evidently many people who didn’t stay at the high end hotels chose to stay at Springhill as well. The staff handled the crowd very well especially at breakfast time and with the free transport shuttle since so many of us had to go to the convention center about the same time of day and evening. I had a very pleasant stay.

At 6am a janitorial staff member opened our door. Luckily the latch stopped it. But three girls traveling by themselves, it was scary. When I talked to the front desk they said it was an elderly gentleman working on the room next to us and accidentally opened the wrong door. I get accidents happen, but this is a security issue, invasion of privacy and ruined the sleep we were hoping to get. Also, why are you working on rooms at 6 am? And all hotels workers should announce themselves before entering a room. I would not stay here again after that.

Quick overnight trip for family graduation. This was the BEST experience we’ve had in Phoenix. Luisa at the front desk was so welcoming, and just a pleasure to speak with. She was friendly, offered a list of restaurants nearby and gave a great smile. The room was clean, spacious and very accommodating. I would recommend 10/10!!

We found the location excellent in terms of how close it was to downtown venues and restaurants. It did seem a little dangerous at night, especially if you go to nearby convenience stores. The staff was very friendly and the room very spacious. The sofa was stained and we had a lamp that did not work but overall we were comfortable. Free parking was a huge plus.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The elevators made some strange noises. The hotel was not as close to downtown as I had hoped. There are restaurants in walking distance, but there is nobody on the street after 9 p.m., which makes it a little uncomfortable to walk to the restaurants.

Convenient to airport. One elevator out of service. Printer in business center out of service. Overall appearance (exterior AND interior) grubby and worn. Strong smell of chemical deodorant. No option for bagged early breakfast. Overall NOT up to Marriott standards.

The room is pretty nice and looks professional. The tv is very small, the beds get hard depending what side you are on, and the tub is somewhat slippery. The complimentary breakfast could also be better with more options that aren’t made with cheap food (who has Canadian bacon that I’ve seen at the grocery store to make homemade pizza as a breakfast side?!). The sugar and creamer for coffee needs improve as well - neither sweetened your coffee regardless how much you add to it.

The location to the airport was perfect as well as it's proximity to downtown Phoenix. The mattress could definitely be upgraded, it felt old and overused. Wasn't what I have come to expect from this chain. The shower kept running/dripping long after it was used and the toilet flushed on it's own a few times during the night. Breakfast was hot and fresh and had everything we needed.
