Baymont by Wyndham Phoenix I-10 near 51st Ave

This booking was chosen because of the heated pool. It was NOT. Staff are excellent considering they are lacking employees. Breakfast was a total disaster! Disgraceful. No elevator. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in the room. Overall, I'm not interested in booking again.

Everything was great they definitely could have upgraded the pillows very lumpy it feels like it's hard cotton balls inside the pillows other than that it was great besides having to carry the ice chest up and down the stairs as there is no elevator

Nice parking lot for big trucks only which is really convenient. Plus, really clean rooms and a very nice staff. I will always stay here when in Phoenix.

Very clean and nice property. The suite had 2 separate rooms with a door in-between and 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was okay. The only bad thing was that it didn't have an elevator so we had to walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor.

The Baymont by Wyndham is a straight-forward hotel located near a freeway, making it a good place to stay when you're going different directions around Phoenix. It's very basic but not a place that invites lingering, although on hot days when you want to vege out with good AC it is. The staff is great. They go out of their way to help you whenever you ask. Two tips -- ask for a room facing the parking lot, not the freeway, to eliminate noise. We had one and heard no freeway noise at all. Ask for a room on the first floor as there is no elevator! The breakfast was nice, offering choices. The pool is small and pretty much in the sun, so not inviting. The hotel is adjacent to another hotel, but beyond parking lots it's an industrial area. Seemed to be some homeless people in the area, but we were never hassled. However, I wouldn't feel comfortable walking in the area after dark. Lots of fast food options nearby, on both sides of the freeway. One thing I particularly appreciated was the note pad and pen. A useful nicety too many hotels have dropped.

Great property for truck parking. Convenient to a gas station/convenience store. Clean, comfortable, and a nice stay for the right price.

I’ve never been to a 2 story hotel without an elevator nor without carpet in the room. The lament flooring was not secure and coming apart. There was pubic hairs on the bathroom floor and the shower was not clean. It was one of the most ghetto hotels I’ve ever been to. With the good ratings on Expedia we had booked for one night and we almost just went home. It is not anywhere we will stay again.

We came from out of town expecting to swim most of our stay but pool was closed. Satellite tv was down. Each time we left and came back our room key didn’t work. Room didn’t get service One day I had to ask the housekeeper for fresh set of towels Front desk was very friendly

On the 3rd day of our stay, my wife discovered what appeared to be insect bites on her arms. One of the sores began to swell and blistered. Upon return our return to Oklahoma, she went to a Doctor and was diagnosed with bed bug bites. Obviously, our room 137 was no clean and over time resulted in bed bugs. My plan is to contact Wyndham corporate and insist on a refund of my money. This is unacceptable and I will not recommend Wyndham properties to any of my friends.

Clean rooms and quiet stay!

It was a nice stay. The only thing was that the room was not very clean, the bed sheets also didnt seem very clean. There was dead roaches on the floor the bext day I asked for room service and when we came back to room bed was done but room was not swept correctly there was still piece of roach on floor. That was my only concern because i have little ones too. Over all it ws ok.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was very helpful and very courteous. Very clean room and the breakfast was awesome. They had a good variety and it was nice saving some money.

This place was spot on!! One of the best places we have stayed in lately. The continental breakfast was delicious. I will say. The area it is in was a bit sketchy which had us rethinking what we had booked. When we walked in to the hotel that thought changed. The security cameras and the screen to view the whole prperty put us at ease. They run a tight ship!! We were greeted by an amazing older lady who made it easy to check in. The room was beautiful, clean and smelled nice. Check out was a breeze. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Unfortunately we checked in very late and were exhausted so no pictures. Will definitely book again!!

2 cockroaches greeted us in their room when we arrived. Hallway was dimly lit, the whole building had a weird smell and it was just a terribly run property. So we immediatly checked out and went down the street to the holiday inn express which is 1000 times better.

Room seemed clean at first then the roaches and bed bugs came out of hiding.

The hotel appears okay from outside looking in I was supposed to stay 2 nights but I checked out after my first day because I ran into 2 huge Cockroaches in the bathroom…. There was also traffic noise from the freeway and the coffee served with continental breakfast was burnt and tasted disgusting I could have tolerated the noise and the coffee which I threw out but I couldn’t tolerate the large roaches

Our room faced the freeway and we were right next to the on ramp. It was like sleeping on a race track. If you can’t install sound proof windows don’t build that close to a freeway. The sign on the door when you walk in says clearly they aren’t responsible for damages to your car when you park there. Not reassuring as far as safety. And this morning for breakfast there wasn’t any butter.

Our room smelled somewhat damp but seemed pretty clean. The room was alot smaller than we would have liked. And the beds were extremely firm and none of us slept good on them. The exterior of the hotel was clean. Overall not a bad place, but we will stay somewhere else next time.

Paper thin walls and allowance of transiet population and durg use warranted this review. Stayed recently for 4 nights for some spring baseball. We stayed in room 213, the walls are so thin that you can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms next door. I kid you not when I say you can hear someone fart. Endless coughing, video games and excessivly loud conversations on using cash app for drug deals were just a little of the exposure that we dealt with. The staff did talk to the other tenants and tried to quiet them at 1 am, 3 am and lastly 5am, it was to no avail. 4 sleepless nights as drug traffic came in and out, doors slamming, no offer/option to move. The front area was encased in bags, trash, clothing and 4 transient persons who were using the electrc outlet in the first entrance to the lobby. They were allowed to remain there through 2 full days, pets in a pet carrier were also left in this entryway from a non customer of the hotel, it looked in terrible condition. Weed seeped into our room from the neighboring room on mumtiple occasions. Pool was small but adequate enough for the hotel. Breakfast was decent actually, with the normal findings, cereal, waffle maker, eggs, yogurt and bread/pastry items. The staff was nice and seemed to care but maybe not enough assertivness to remove someone from the hotel. The room itself has flaws, home in the bathroom door, few small darker stains on the sheet but it did look laundered. Overall, we will not be back for the safety concerns.

The hotel room had weird flooring, like they had dropped laminate over an old (unremoved?) carpet, so the floor bounced up and down as you walked in it, and there were little troughs where it looked like mop water had pooled. The view out the window was a dirt lot with logs from a tree that might have been cut down, then the fence separating you from the very nearby freeway. Too loud, but generally clean with a friendly staff. If you need to be next to the freeway (we did) it's an affordable option, but lacking that need I probably wouldn't stay there again.

The place was comfortable. There’s a gap in the door of the room that I stayed in. Anyone could see me in the room by peeking through it. I had to leave the bathroom door open to block the view. Also the exhaust fan is way too loud. The shower was perfect.

The room was very good, except that the air conditioning was very noisy, we couldn't sleep very well because of that.

Front desk staff was very friendly. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. The only issue was our room was on the side of the highway and was a bit noisy from the highway traffic.

Check in was easy, friendly staff. The room was clean and had the basics. The bathtub could use updating (stains and dingy looking). My big complain was the bed/pillows. They were SO hard that I woke up with a sore ear, jaw, and shoulder (side sleeper). If the bed was more comfortable I’d stay here again if in the area but for that reason alone I’ll look else where

For 3 nights I’ve stayed at this place nobody did housekeeping in my room.

Staff was rude an had a sign that would charge you money for having an opinion on your stay.

I’ve stayed here before and thought it was good enough to come back. I thought the price of $200 was a little steep for this hotel but it seemed most hotels in Phoenix were very high prices. The deadbolt lock on the door did not latch because it was not lined up with the door jam. I can’t imagine this has not been reported since that’s how you lock yourself in the room. Seems a bit irresponsible to let this go. Checked in about 8pm and at about 10pm I heard the door open and the door latch catch. I called the front desk and they as given a “I’m sorry I gave someone the key to your room”. Again irresponsible. Nothing happened but imagine the possibilities. Just seems as though security is not a priority. This questionnaire asks about “eco friendly” but not security. Seems we have our priorities all wrong. Overall this is a decent hotel outside almost meeting a stranger in my room.

The men working the front desk are not very friendly. Cold and just going thru the motions. The ladies are always very welcoming, polite and greet me with a smile.

Super helpful and friendly staff

My reservation was canceled well before the cut off time. No other rooms were avaiable. I had chosen the pay at the desk option. I suspect there is a disconnect between expedia and the motel. I had even called 3 days prior to confirm and was assured that my room was reserved.

The 2 ladies behind the counter at check-in were fun & friendly. One of the same ladies was setting up breakfast 8 hours later, was still in a good mood & helped me take a shortcut to the airport and mis massive traffic on the 10.

It was almost perfect the only bad thing was the neighbor hotels has open to drug addiction people but it was a safe place to stay.

The beds were some of the most confortable I have slept on in a hotel, even compared to some higher end hotels. The pillows were also fantastic. My daughter and I stayed overnight, so we could attend a concert at Talkingstick Arena, very close to the arena, and easy to get an uber. Bertha, the front desk person, was fantastic. No restauraunts right around the hotel, but great for a couple nights, for the price.

Its in a mostly quiet area near a very busy industrial place.The staff was very professional and the bed was very comfortable.I suggest that you have a room on the front side because you can hear the noise from the interstate freeway. The breakfast is not great but you can get coffee and a bagel or a boiled egg.The area is very well maintained.I stayed there several years ago when they first opened and it appears closely as it was then,I would stay there again.

Service was accommodating and friendly, breakfast was well prepared and decent variety (though it was a bit crowded in the small dining area). Room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was some outside noise that was not the staff's fault and very minor. Overall a good stay.

Not a real friendly vibe. A lot of homeless around the hotel. Staff was rather curt. Weak continental breakfast, especially with the waffle maker not working. Older place in need of updates. Definitely would not stay there again.

The room and hotel was tidy and clean enough. The breakfast area was tiny & cramped and always out of something essential. Front desk gal was trying to do both the desk and breakfast area so just didn’t work.

Overall it was a good experience. I wish they would review the amount of people in a room and leave that many towels. We had 4 in our group and was only left two towels. The breakfast area was extremely small there was only room for about 12 people
