This hotel is just off a main road and in a quite part of the street. It is less than a 8-minute walk to the light rail. It is a great place to visit downtown Phoenix. Lot of choices for food around the area. Parking lot is free with in and out privileges and is adjacent to the hotel but it is a safe area with little traffic in the area. I am not a tall person but the shower head was really short and I came almost face to face with it. The doors are heavy and slam shut hard and you can hear them. The mechanism that holds these doors needs to be calibrated better. Didn't get a chance to get food here but there is a small bar and snack shop downstairs by the front desk. There was a water dispenser in the gym area. Pool was outside and in between buildings so it was safer with only hotel visitors able to get in and see you. The bed frames look to hold a bigger mattress and leaves a ledge that you may bump into getting on and off bed. Needs more plugs than on lamps to charge devices. Room has fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee machine. All worked great and were clean. Elevators worked fine and there were Purrel machines at each floor. Door keys were tap and easy to use.

From the moment we stepped to the property there was construction. It was very obvious. This was not a Union job as there was people everywhere not roped off for cleanliness. Working all hours of the night No working ice machine on any floor everything broken Pool was filthy Limited chairs at pool Hot tub was halfway drained, dirty filthy not functional Our room was clean and updated

the pool and spa were closed down. we were there with 3 rooms that included kids that had brought their swimsuits and we had to find other ways to entertain them in the heat. at the first floor elevator it smelled of sewage.

They were undergoing construction downstairs, yet the staff was helpful and courteous in their makeshift desks. The room was very nice. Parking was very easy in the lot next door and they validated so I didn't have to pay anything for it. If I come back to the area, I will definitely stay here again.

the hot tub was slimy. the pool was not heated. the breakfast service was closed. the bar was closed. sunday afternoon check in had only one clerk. the room had no desk or chair. the room had no cushion chair and lamp. the room was clean. the room was too far from the lobby.

Great location but because I booked through Expedia, I had no knowledge that the hotel was under renovations. Ice machine on my floor was not working and the front desk said it was due to the power being out due to renovations. Had to go to the floor above or below mine to get ice. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work. The air condition was on for almost 2 hours and the room didn't seem to be cooling. The front desk did send maintenance while we were away. The pool was dirty, no water in the hot tub. The vending machine took my money and front desk said Id need to contact the vendor for a refund. I asked front desk if a manager could contact me, 48 hours later, still haven't heard from anyone. The front desk staff was very nice and provided us with free water since we couldn't get any from the vending machine. Not even one bottle of water in the hotel room.

Water pressure was terrible, room had hair all over the place, hotel tried to charge us for breakfast even though we paid through Hotels.com and then gave us incorrect information regarding breakfast. Bathroom was dirty, with mixed brand of shampoo and condtioner leading me to believe something didn't belong. Pros: we were right next to elevator and didn't hear a lot of noise throughout the night.

The hotel itself looks nice in the lobby was clean. When we got to our room and decided to shower, there was a bunch of curly black hairs all over the tub. The tub obviously was not cleaned at all. The toilet led looked like someone took a knife and carved into it. It was bad enough I took photographs. The floor was not the cleanest either, but the rest of the room seemed clean. The air conditioner took hours to cool the room down and never hit the target temperature.

This hotel was terrible. It is under construction and the listing did not inform me of that. Most of the walls are covered in plastic sheeting and tape. There are wires hanging out of the walls and furniture piled in common areas. My daughter’s bed had hair in it and mine smelled like cigarette smoke. The shower had mold. We had to wait 30 minutes in line to check in and then my key card did not work so I had to do it all over again.

This was unbelievable!!!! So dirty. The thermostat was broken. no AC. We are in the desert. Filthy countertops. I can't believe how horrible this stay was. Smells like old cigarette smoke. Someone left incense sticks stuck in the door. Give me a break. NEVER BE BACK!

The beds were full mattresses on queen pedistals creating a shin bumping issue. They take a $75 deposit even though they already have my credit card number. Ice machine didn't work. Shower head crusty. $15 for a cheap hotel buffet breakfast that is normally complimentary in most hotels.

The loudest elevator in any hotel I have ever stayed in. Major mechanical issues that shake the whole building. It sounds like someone operating a jackhammer in the middle of the night.

It was your typical stay at a well managed Hilton GI. Till, you try to walk around the room and you are walking a shin minefield. The wood queen bed frames used for the full mattresses are terrible. Three people in this room and all three hit the corners of the bed frames at least twice. Everything else,a very pleasant stay at the Hilton

This used to be the Marriot and now it’s double tree . All the rooms since the Marriot that are the furthest to the end have really bad ac . Thought they would have fixed that now that it is double tree . Just came front there over the weekend and same dam thing hot

The parking is across the street from the hotel and dark at night. The staff made no effort to help me with my luggage or even walk the luggage carrier cart out to my car. Poor customer service. Every trash can near the pool was full and overflowing. On my second day the water went out. The staff did not offer me another room in another tower that did have water. The staff did not offer me a water bottle so I could wash my hands or brush my teeth. After I requested water I was provided with two bottles for sanitary reasons. Barely an apology for the huge inconvenience and no effort to have offered me to move into a room that had water. The fire by the pool was nice. Bartender was a kind lady. She offered time just to sit at the bar and watch TV even if I wasn't drinking. Location was good. It was very close to the building I needed to be at for the work event.

The guy at the desk spent 10 minutes with a guy who did not even belong at the hotel and who was trying to get into a room of somebody else. I sat there the whole time just waiting to check in. No second staff to help as the bartender stood at an empty bar across the hall. The guy at the desk was very nice but spent extraordinary time with a non guest over somebody who just needed to check in. The rooms are nice though as is the overall hotel.

Friendly staff upon arrival, especially Lawrence. He was very helpful and friendly. The cleaning staff were very nice when we requested extra toiletries. We loved having a keurig, microwave and a fridge.

The housekeeper came by at 830am wanting to clean the room. Check out was at 11am and she woke us up very rudely. I told her politely no houkeeeping not needed. She came back again at 10am even with a do not disturb sign. Again she interrupted a peaceful right to a room I paid for while on vacation. Completely unapologetic and did not even say sorry. It made me suspicious that she was trying to get into the room to steal...had no cart and close to checkout people are usually at breakfast. My first time in a hotel and extensive travel where this has happened. Most hotels do not do housekeeping for a guest who is checking out only to clean it again for a new guest a few hours later. Would not reccommend, sketchy.

We loved the hotel, and the service was excellent with a special shout out to Omar at the front desk. The hotel is extremely clean, the beds comfy, and the big screen Samsung HD flatscreen has an abundance of channels. The location and price were right, and we had a quiet and restful night. We did have a problem with our first room close to the elevators. A low elephant trumpet-like noise came from the elevator shafts whenever the cars moved (which was frequently). But Omar gave us a different room away from the elevators with a smile, and it was perfect. I'd recommend this hotel without hesitation, and hope to stay there again some time.

Hotel was sort of run down and weathered. Location is horrible, there is nothing around Phoenix midtown in the way of restaurants, etc to walk to and nothing in the hotel.

Over all the hotel was ok, parking is across the street, making it awkward. And it’s quite a walk to the elevators in the west end of the building. Once we arrived and opened our curtains, we had a view of a power station. Nothing like the pictures on their websites. Save your money on breakfast. $14.99/person is a bit extreme, especially when all I had was the equivalent of an egg and one piece of sausage.

I thought the hotel was in good condition for a good price. Free parking, the pool looked lovely, but we didn't try it since it rained the entire weekend. I asked for an umbrella to use for the day but they didn't have any. I did see some hair on my bathroom floor that wasn't mine. We didn't try the breakfast buffet since you had to pay for it. Nice Christmas decorations!

Hotel restaurant and bar closed our entire stay. First room we were in had a noisy a/c unit and a gross dirty vent. We got put in a new room that had a smoke smell and a toilet that only worked half of the time. Very good staff but the place is outdated and under construction which they never mentioned when we reserved rooms.

Pearla and Steve were amazing at check in. However...you advertise you have a restaurant? We waited an hour for a burger and fries at the bar. One bar tender, ine cook? Horrible service on the hotels part. Not the bartender or cooks. But the hhotels!!!Theresrestraunt

Totally not as described on Orbitz. No restaurant. They did have a bar, but it was not open. No shuttle either. Was originally given a room in an area they’re renovating- even though the hotel was empty. Didn’t want to hear workers so they gave me another room. This one was recently renovated. So recently that there was a tool box left in the room… so had it been cleaned? This new room was an adjoining one, and there’s zero sound protection between the rooms. I literally heard my neighbors entire phone conversations. Breakfast was your standard stuff. Nothing special. And the creamer was out - something the server or breakfast prep person should have never put out to begin with. Staff was lovely, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The hotel is ok, but we had ants crawling around everywhere in our room. They were all over the place by the pool to. We told the front desk about them being in our room, they said they would come up and spray but never did. The hotel bar and restaurant were closed our entire stay, Friday-Sunday, which wasn’t a huge deal, but it would have been nice to be able to utilize that amenity.
