The Elevators were broken. We were placed on the 4th floor. The entire stairwell (all stairwells) smelled like animal urine. Our room wasn't cleaned, wasn't swept, dirty towels, used soap amd plastic bags onnthe floor. The bed sheets had hair on them and stains. The toilet kept getting clogged. The tv wasnt working, we didnt get all our 80 dollar "deposit" back. We only received 75.

Room was great, security outside as very helpful and told us where to park for better safety. Check- in clerk was pretty rude, I work in Constuction and got off work and while checking in her facial expressions, tone of her voice was very judgmental. Other than the short interaction with her...everything else was good.

Check In was easy and fast. Cleanliness was poor, still had hair in restroom . Shower drain didn’t work. Found a roach in light in the bathroom. Areas of the room looked dusty . Carpet didn’t look like it was vacuumed at all. Check out was easy and fast.

Traveling solo with 3 kiddos. They were scared. The area isn’t the best. However the hotel is awful. Smells terrible, smears of idk what on the walls, floors sticky and crunchy, stains on the bedding. We slept without the pillows and on top of the beds without blankets. Didn’t bother to try a shower. It was loud in the room was on edge. Wouldn’t recommend with for a family with small children. For a place charging almost 200 a night and 80 dollar damages hold I’m shocked.

This is probably one of the worst hotel stays in my life. There was hair everywhere including on the sheets, the shower curtain, the sink, the soap holder in the shower area. I could tell that the floor weren’t clean by the amount of dirt/shoe prints on the floor. I don’t think they replaced the shower curtain, there was still stains on it. The room was so dusty. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

The room was very dirty. It looked like it wasn’t clean in weeks. You could see dirt under the sink where the towels where. The shower shower wall had a long yellow line. Looked like they glued it together. The sheets looked yellow. The floors looked like they had not been sweep. One of the drawers was broken it was missing the bottom. Overall this has been the dirtiest hotel I had ever stayed in. First and last time I will stay at a Red Roof again.

We've stayed here before with an excellent experience so we choose it once again. We had a superior king room. Room was clean and spacious, although floors were kinda of sticky. Bed was a bit firm but comfortable and had blackout curtains for better sleep. Room had all the amenities needed for much less than other places. Wi-Fi was super fast. We were a bit worried about the reviews talking about all the homeless surrounding the area but we had no issues whatsoever and felt very safe. Homeless people are not surrounding the hotel, they're in a vacant lot next to it. Area is quiet and safe. A lot of food options nearby. Overall a great stay for the price and we'll continue to stay here when needed.

There was only one clerk assisting with check-in. There was a long line of customers waiting to check-in. When it was finally my turn, the clerk told me she had 40 check-ins between 3pm & the time that I got there & she had7 more to go all by herself. She said most people were going to the Kendrick Lamar concert, as we were. They could have put at least one more person at the front desk. One customer came down while I was checking in & she said her key would not open her door. The clerk told her they lost the registration card so she needed to fill out another one for them. That is why they locked her out of her room. They didn’t even apologize for her inconvenience.very under staffed. This tells me they don’t care about good customer service. They only care about their profit. Aside from that, the room was dirty, especially the bathroom. When I turned on the shower to run the hot water, the shower curtain smelled like urine! I always bring my own towels. I’m especially glad I did this time. Their towels were to so small, not even bath size, more like hand towels. You couldn’t wrap one around you, like a normal bath towel. There was no trash can in the bathroom, only in the room. The toilet and shower are in the restroom. The sink is outside the restroom, which means, you have to touch the door handle to come out of the restroom, after you use the toilet, before you wash your hands! Very disgusting! Would never stay again.

The hotel was good, the room was comfortable, the staff was excellent. My problem is mostly all the homeless around the immediate area, the fact that they come on the property and walk around the vehicles, and the fact that my back up camera on my work truck was stolen. Thats a big problem, but the only issue i had there. The road to acces it has a lot of pot holes too, not great for delicate vehicles. Id probably stay there again if i needed a spot.

Check-in chaotic with fire alarm going off and only one person checking in clients. Two other staff came to help but really spent most of their time talking to each other. This was the most blatant catfish I've ever encountered. The pictures in the Hotels.com app would have you believe you're in for a treat at a beautifuly maintained establishment. The truth is the opposite. The hotel is filthy. The lobby floor sticks to your feet as you walk. The floor in the room somehow looks and feels even worse. The elevator was broken, so you'll have to use the stairs. The dumpster in the corner of the parking lot must be just for decoration, because the stairwell is clearly the primary garbage dumping site. With all the trash in the stairwell, you'd think it would smell like trash. If only we could be so lucky. Instead you'll be greeted by the scent of urine and Marlboro smoke baking in the heat of the unventilated hotbox. Who needs A/C in Phoenix in August am I right? At least we only need to climb one floor. God help you if your room is higher than that. Backstage at a Wiz Khalifa concert smells less like weed than the 2nd floor hallway. A box of weed smells less like weed than the 2nd floor hallway. Every other door you pass on the way to your room will have trap music blasting from a cell phone or cheap Bluetooth speaker behind it. The desk staff and security guard are friendly and helpful, but what must be going on at this place for them to need armed security? Seriously, I've seen brinks truck guards less battle ready than this guy. My only temptation to return here is pure morbid curiosity.
