The property was beautiful, Loved the balcony on the 6th floor. I wasn't excited about the bed or the fact that there was no refrigerator, microwave, or much in the way of cups. It was complicated not having a refrigerator since I had medication that needed to be kept cold. On top of that, the ice machine on the 6th floor was broken and I had to go to the 2nd to get ice. But there was an elevator. There were only 2 towels where I'm used to 4 in a hotel at this price. I liked the location. The reservation said breakfast but all we ever saw was coffee in the lobby. Oh yeah, and no coffee on the room.

The staff was mediocre at best. Only 2 ice machines for 6 floors. One not event plugged in and the other didn’t work. The tv worked half the time and when it did, it was full of static and lines across the screen. There is a sign in the bathroom that says “must close door when showering or the fire alarm will go off!!!”. Seriously!!! Every time we left the room, the key cards stopped working. Great location, bed was comfy but for over $600 night, you should be better!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel St. Lauren! The location is incredibly convenient—close to everything while still feeling tucked away and charming. Gabby at the front desk was especially wonderful and incredibly helpful, giving us great recommendations, tips, and ideas for things to do around the island. The hotel definitely has an old-school, quaint Catalina charm. Some of the rooms and amenities could probably benefit from a little refresh, but at the same time, that slightly vintage feel is part of its personality and may be exactly what some people are looking for when staying on the island. Overall, we had a really lovely experience and felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. Definitely a solid 4 out of 5 for us, and we’d happily recommend it!
