Beautiful landscaping with a cute dog on mail box and decorative fido house is what I first noticed followed by friendly staff that greet guests promplty. They offered fresh baked goods and coffee on arrival, and let me tell you after a long drive that was needed. They have meticulously thought out every detail of this property. We received wine vouchers, food discounts and a complimentary breakfast that they hang outside of the room in a picnic basket. When I say adorable that description doesn't even come close. The room had a spa feel to it and was spacious enough to home 3 adults and 2 small dogs comfortably. Oh yeah, I forgot, we received a puppy bag with collapsing bowl, flash light and doggy bags and treats. I mean, pride of ownership is alive here. We will make this a family trip at least yearly for the treatment, location and relaxation factors.

Beautiful property right on the beach! Wine tasting on site, complimentary breakfast in an adorable picnic basket, tons of beautiful outdoor seating in a garden, and super dog friendly! Dogs are not allowed on the beach directly outside the property because it's a protected marine sanctuary, but they are allowed on the lovely boardwalk and there are 2 dog beaches within a 30 minute drive.

We looked for a pet friendly hotel in that area and this place is the best pet friendly hotel we’ve ever stayed. The rooms were super clean. The facilities were too. There is a local coffee bar onsite which made it so convenient to sit outside in the lawn and watch the beauty of the sea in the quietness of dawn.

This Inn is a great place, right across from the beach and direct access to a boardwalk. When we got there, lots of guests were hanging out in the chairs that face the beach, drinking wine and in general having a good time. It was a great vibe. The front desk had fresh made brownies for people to grab, which my son loved, and I also got a ticket for a free glass of wine. There's a small restaurant there with basic fare so I had a flatbread and drank my wine while I watched the beach. Very peaceful and friendly. Also, the rooms seem recently renovated, and they were very clean and in really great shape. Comfortable beds and pillows as well!

We had a wonderful time from the moment we checked in until we left…Thank you for ordering 3 full days of sunshine for us! The breakfast basket idea was a great start to everyday. We loved the way that guests mixed and mingled in the lovely garden with seating and tables.

Wonderful property steps away from Moonstone Beach. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean with plenty of amenities. Morning breakfast baskets were enough for our family of 4 and the cookies and borwnies in the lobby in the evening were greatly appreciated by our children. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Cambria Shores Inn is immaculately clean and well-maintained. It is extremely dog-friendly, providing blankets, bowls, treats, and a take-home bag containing a silicone bowl, tiny flashlight, and a poop bag dispenser. In addition, they have evening treats for the human guests with freshly baked cookies and brownies and a complimentary glass of wine. A breakfast basket containing fruit, pastries, and juice is delivered in the morning in a basket delivered to the room. There are many B&B's along Moonstone Beach, but Cambria Shores Inn is exceptional.

Room No. 1 had mold in the shower, a soggy mattress, and we couldn't figure out how to make the heater work. There are much better options at a similar price point on Moonstone Beach!

Honestly, all of the hotels on Moonstone are nice. The hotel sits on a knoll, which is great for watching the ocean and surfers. Everything was great…the only low is that upon check in, I checked the bed and the sheets weren’t changed. The prior guest’s hair was all over the sheets so beware and always pull back the sheets before you decide to take a nap.

Very very clean and nice staff, very friendly. Great location on water and wonderful view sitting out on the provided area. breakfast picnic was a nice touch. A bit dated now, which is nice in a way but ... and the breakfast while nice could have been a bit more customizable perhaps?

Our stay was wonderful! The room was fantastic & very comfortable! The back patio was a bonus. The beach access & views were the best part - it was literally right outside the door & across the street - a 30 second walk. The second best was the breakfast delivered right to our door in a basket! So convenient! There were a few restaurants in walking distance & the rest were just a short 5 min drive into downtown Cambria. As a side note - the shower had great water pressure! Highly recommend this hotel!

We loved everything about Cambria shores; Spacious room, comfortable beds, large tv, room darkening blinds, picnic basket breakfast, specialty coffee in lobby area and wine ($), cookies and brownies in the lobby as well, friendly staff. The location is perfect, across from boardwalk and expansive ocean views from the Adirondack chairs on the lawn. Definitely recommend- also is pet friendly so you get to see some great dogs.

We love Cambria, as I’ve gotten older it has become one of my go to spots for complete peace and quiet and relaxation. This trip however did not go as planned. The hotel rooms are way too small at Cambria shores inn. It’s like being inside a kids room at your buddy’s house. Tiny little room, and the king bed??? There’s no way that’s a king bed unless it was like the first prototype of a king bed. Not very comfortable at all, had trouble sleeping all 3 nights. Why would they put us , guests that are staying 3 nights, all the way in the back of the hotel, when there was a front unit, that had a big window looking out at the ocean in the front that had nobody in it all 3 nights. Yet they put us almost all the way in the back. That makes no sense at all. Shower wasn’t stocked with all 3, gel, shampoo and conditioner. And to top it all off, they redid their parking lot the last day we were there, so was super noisy most of the day and couldn’t park in the parking lot, and when we left on Tuesday morning had to walk all of our belongings out to the street where we had to park the car over night. All in all , very unhappy with Cambria Shores Inn, and will, more than likely, never return.

We had a great stay at Cambria Shores. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the room was comfortable and clean. The best part is all the seating out front with amazing ocean views. The complimentary glass of wine and free cookies and brownies were pretty nice as well. It is a dog friendly hotel so there are a lot of people traveling with dogs there. If that bothers you, you should probably stay somewhere else.

To say this is a beautiful place to stay is a complete understatement. The staff was extremely friendly. Our three dogs were in heaven. And being able to relax and enjoy the sunset after a long day was very rewarding! We will most definitely be staying here again!

The prearrival service was excellent. Lisa made sure we would be all set up for late arrival. Once we got there Armando and Scott made us feel right at home. Even our fur baby got a warm welcome with doggie treats and bowls all set up. It was a perfect location with wonderful amenities, delicious breakfast basket and service.

Is directly across from the beach. You can sit outside and watch the ocean or walk across the road and be on the beach. There are so many restaurants and shops not far from the motel. Very quaint little town.

By far the most relaxing trip. The hotel has an amazing view of the ocean with comfortable chairs to just sit, relax and be in the moment. Bonus they provide a complimentary basket in the morning filled with continental breakfast. The staff is very friendly and professional. My friends and I are already planning a return trip.

Everything was great, love how it was next to the ocean, watching sunset. However for price charged nightly, i would expect breakfast included be a more then just everything carbs to accommodate diabetes people. Need to have some protein at least boiled eggs perhaps if not more. I was just disappointed at the lil BF they served that’s all.

Rooms are nice, location is excellent and staff is really really friendly. The only issue we had was with 'breakfast'. If you do not like pastry and lemon cake for breakfast there is nothing for you to eat. Sure there was an apple, a banana and some orange juice but we would have preferred some traditional breakfast like eggs, cereal, milk, toast, spread etc. The place is expensive so I would expect a decent breakfast at least.

Breakfast very good, but same each day, no variety; used to get blankets outside, but now just towels; more chairs were available-great; loved the 5pm brownies-great; office hospitality was excellent; connection with Madeline's was a wonderful surprise; complimentary glass of wine was well-received- we loved it. Decorations were gorgeous, and there were picnic tables! We liked the furnishings: mirrors on the doors were great- all together, still our favorite Cambria hotel.

Beautiful spot to relax, enjoy the scenery, and find peace. Be aware, must like dogs. For the most most part, dogs are well behaved while staying here but you could hear some bark late at night and early in the morning. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast basket is a nice touch but not very nourishing. Just the basics. We will come back again and again, truly a wonderful place to enjoy Cambria.
