You have to park and walk 400 meters away from the hotel. You can not park anywhere around the hotel. There were no carts to use either. Besides that the hotel was quiet. They give you a real key to unlock the door. Would I stay there again. No.

Parece que tiene piscina en las fotografías del alojamiento, pero en realidad no tiene. Tiene un jacuzzi minúsculo que la chica de recepción (muy antipática y poco servicial, por cierto) no quiso abrirlo para mi hijo y para mí. El "restaurante" (por decirlo de alguna forma) muy pobre: muy caro y no tenían de nada. La actitud de las camareras horrible porque dejaban clarísimo que no tenían ganas ningunas de trabajar.

The Mayan Water is a unique boutique property just outside of PDC. They offer wakeboarding at the cable park that is also entertaining to watch. The staff was super helpful and kind.

The property is very new and quiet, but it is not in great shape. There are zero dining options and it is very far out of the way. Even the most basic amenities promised were not available. If you need groceries, bug spray, drinks, or anything else, be prepared to drive 25 minutes. I would not stay here again.

The property is amazing… but that’s a wakeboard place so you could improve the conditions for wakeboarding. The equipment is horrible, horrible it’s not even usable, you should buy new equipment and open the beginner side… thank you

I love the property clean and new, I love doing wakeboarding, I love Otis junior the dog . I dont like the equipment for wakeboarding, its a very expensive sport and the boards, biddings, safe jackets everything for it is very old and they are all broken

Hotel And staff are amazing and very helpful. They do have a restaurant within the hotel that’s open till 6 PM which serves good burgers. Hotel room was very clean. Only issue is that it is 20 minutes before Playa Del Carmen which i was not aware of, but other than that it is very quiet.

De verdad que bonito lugar, desde que llegamos la atención fue muy buena, la gente muy servicial y amable, las instalaciones están muy padres, todo muy limpio, la verdad la pasamos muy bien, pidan el burrito esta delicioso y si tienen suerte hay un changuito que anda por ahí libre

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice my room was with a newer smart TV, stylish room and bathrooms. Excellent AC. It is off the main highway on the opposite side from the ocean. Cannot see from the road, but the signage was good. Staff was kind and helpful. And for the price it was SUPER great.

Poca ventilación, es un cuarto cerrado con una sola ventana, huele mucho a humedad, el ventilador era de adorno pues no funcionaba, el wifi nunca dió internet. El personal muy amable y el paisaje es muy bonito, es una pena que la construcción sea tan mala.

Super clean. Reasonable Rate. Seeing is believing. At first, we were alarmed at the Mayan Water Hotel. Maps turned us around and the entrance was very minimalist. We thought is was closed. Once we checked in, however, it was fantastic. The cleanest room we stayed in in Mexico! It was very quiet, not what you'd expect on that stretch. We stayed our last night, between Tulum and Cancun. While there is no restaurant on the premises, it was just a short drive to lots of options! It was a good "break" away from the go-go-go we'd been on, trying to do as much as possible. We aren't sure how we happened to get a room there, but lucky us!

We liked that a staff member met us at our car when we arrived after dark. This hotel is indeed quiet and the room configuration was interesting. Great location for us as we needed to stay in-between Playa and Puerto Morelos. The only thing I definitely didn’t like was Internet signal strength at room #3. Signal was so weak I had to re-connect about (it seemed) every 10 minutes.

It wasn't where the map indicated, and coming in late at night was dark.... But the staff waited for us for a late arrival (11:00pm) and helped us to our room. Room and accomodations were outstanding! Everything made more sense in the daylight when we left.

Without a car we were stuck with no access to food groceries or a restaurant. There was no transportation available (bike, car, bus, taxi). My Spanish wasn’t good enough to communicate with the staff. There was no shade or place to spend time outside of our room and the weird wakeboard rope tow. Which was out of our budget, interest, and too sunny for people who burn easily!

Without a car we were stuck with no access to food groceries or a restaurant. There was no transportation available (bike, car, bus, taxi). We liked that a staff member met us at our car when we arrived after dark. This hotel is indeed quiet and the room configuration was interesting. Great location for us as we needed to stay in-between Playa and Puerto Morelos. The only thing I definitely didn’t like was Internet signal strength at room #3. Signal was so weak I had to re-connect about (it seemed) every 10 minutes.

Hotel And staff are amazing and very helpful. They do have a restaurant within the hotel that’s open till 6 PM which serves good burgers. Hotel room was very clean. Only issue is that it is 20 minutes before Playa Del Carmen which i was not aware of, but other than that it is very quiet.

The Mayan Water is a unique boutique property just outside of PDC. They offer wakeboarding at the cable park that is also entertaining to watch. The staff was super helpful and kind.

It wasn't where the map indicated, and coming in late at night was dark.... But the staff waited for us for a late arrival (11:00pm) and helped us to our room. Room and accomodations were outstanding! Everything made more sense in the daylight when we left.

The property is very new and quiet, but it is not in great shape. There are zero dining options and it is very far out of the way. Even the most basic amenities promised were not available. If you need groceries, bug spray, drinks, or anything else, be prepared to drive 25 minutes. I would not stay here again.

Super clean. Reasonable Rate. Seeing is believing. At first, we were alarmed at the Mayan Water Hotel. Maps turned us around and the entrance was very minimalist. We thought is was closed. Once we checked in, however, it was fantastic. The cleanest room we stayed in in Mexico! It was very quiet, not what you'd expect on that stretch. We stayed our last night, between Tulum and Cancun. While there is no restaurant on the premises, it was just a short drive to lots of options! It was a good "break" away from the go-go-go we'd been on, trying to do as much as possible. We aren't sure how we happened to get a room there, but lucky us!

Without a car we were stuck with no access to food groceries or a restaurant. There was no transportation available (bike, car, bus, taxi). My Spanish wasn’t good enough to communicate with the staff. There was no shade or place to spend time outside of our room and the weird wakeboard rope tow. Which was out of our budget, interest, and too sunny for people who burn easily!

De verdad que bonito lugar, desde que llegamos la atención fue muy buena, la gente muy servicial y amable, las instalaciones están muy padres, todo muy limpio, la verdad la pasamos muy bien, pidan el burrito esta delicioso y si tienen suerte hay un changuito que anda por ahí libre

Hotel was great! Nico at the wake boarding facility was great help. Just do not count on the restaurant, they are not reliable. The hotel rooms are good to stay at and the wake boarding is amazing. Our only problem was that the restaurant was supposed to open by 9 am, but it never did. Also, they did not have the chef so the food choices were very limited by staff.

If you’re a local or from mexico and you love the water sport they offer and you own a car /rent this is a great hotel for you. This is not a hotel for tourists at all. No one here knows any English which is fine and makes sense as I am in mexico but to try and explain that they are false advertising a hotel by lying on the hotel post is incredibly hard. There is no pool, no hot tub, the rooftop patio is totally abandoned with nothing on it there is no gym that I could find and you are extremely far from ANYTHING. There is no security at the front “gate” if you you could call it that and the first few nights I believe I was the only person staying in the hotel so after 5pm all the staff would leave and I believe I was the only person on the entire property. It’s unfortunate because everyone was “nice” and patient with me but I was always thinking about how they know they are false advertising this place and really tricked me I only stayed 3 nights out of 6 nights with no refund for the nights I didn’t stay as they wont reply to Expedia If you stay for a couple nights the room was great AC, tv, wifi and everything else works AMAZING it was actually a very nice room and very private/quiet almost spooky quiet at night with just the animals. The food is a little expensive but i would skip the breakfast and go for the lunch it was really great. IMPORTANT stop for food before arriving especially if it’s after 5PM you will be taking a taxi of $20 or more Stay in Playa Del
