Room was clean. Staff was great. I stayed a night on 04/28/23 and parked in their parking structure. I had some very expensive off-road lights stolen off my truck sometime during my stay. They had time and used tools to remove the lights from my truck. Be careful with your vehicles if you stay here. Their parking structures aren’t secure.

The place was clean as the rooms were renovated. Room 519 had an ac unit that was uncomfortably loud when it ran. Lobby, bar and restaurant were under construction. Luckily there was a Dennys in the same parking lot, so probably better food anyway, if that's possible. Hotels.com did not tell us this until after they took our money on a non-refundable booking about the construction. Typical bait and switch. On a good note the staff was lovely and accomodating.

Overall a decent place to stay in Fullerton. The restaurant is understaffed and it will take a long time if there are many guests to dine in. The staff is very courteous and try to manage the expectations. The bathroom showers are pretty low and its difficult for a tall person to take bath right under the shower. Also the shower has a very cramped space. Place is neatly maintained with a well stocked bar and a decent covered parking.

Hotel was under severe renovation. No restaurants or even proper front desk so hard to rate overall. The room was comfortable. Beds were good and bathroom was big enough. Would stay here again if in Fullerton. Lots of things around for food. Lots of parking.

The bathroom had a very strong sewage odor from the beginning and won't go away. When we were in the room or during the night time when we sleep, kept the toilet lid closed, fan turned on ans bathroom door closed shut so the smell does not leak into the bedroom.

Great staff. We arrived late as we drove in from Arizona. The staff was plentiful and very welcoming (even at that late hour) the room was very clean and comfortable. The freeway noise is very noticeable and kind of loud but if you just pretend that its real windy outside youll sleep just fine. 😄

The expedia search was for roll in shower.. because my 86 year old mother cannot pick up her feet much. We got a tub with a bench instead and she did not feel comfortable using it because she has a hard time getting up from low seats. Our room was next to the elevator AND the hotel is near the 57 freeway which was loud. No free breakfast. No microwave in room. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and pillows though. The staff were nice. Not enough handicap spots out front. The ones in the parking structure are inconvenient because the door is not automatic.

Not a five star hotel but definitely a five star stay. Room was remodeled nicely with many nice touches of detail. Bathroom was nice, large and so clean. There was a lighted makeup mirror and a packet of makeup remover. I really loved the nightlight under the bathroom mirror. I always like a nightlight. The bed was huge, the pillows were fluffy and there was a reading light attached to the headboard of the bed. I had a small sofa in my room with lumbar pillow and a large, cushiony ottoman so I could put my feet up. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I will certainly stay there again when I go see my daughter in college.

The AC in the room did not work. It was so hot and clammy in the room. We even looked up videos to try and reset. It was late and we didn’t want to change rooms as we were already settled in. We ended up checking out @ 3:30 AM to start our trip earlier. It was definitely not worth the $200. Everything else was great!

Very clean nice room, stayed in a room with jetted tub. I was worried it wasn’t going to be what I expected. If you are iffy about the jetted tub do it! Super clean and big, space for 2 persons. Loved it! Staff vey helpful and friendly.

The stay was good until it came to check out time. My confirmation email note. That check out time was noon. I re-verified the time that morning. The room phone rings around 1145am & the desk receptionist told me check out was 11am! I told her the time given to me was noon. She said “no it’s 11am”. I didn’t have the energy to argue & I told her I am leaving soon. I finished gathering my items & before I can leave the room around 7-10minutes the room phone begins to ring again. I don’t answer because I am walking out the door at this time. My assumption is the front desk calling again to ask me to leave quicker & not even bother to verify the check out time given to me. I live in town so there may be no reason for me to return to his location EVER but I definitely will seek accommodations elsewhere next time.

The room was very nice and comfortable. Check in went well. When I received my invoice and charge on my account after checking out, I was charged for four nights instead of two. I have contacted the hotel but they have not called me back to straighten this out. Do I deal with the hotel or Expedia to solve this problem??

The room was great, it had a hot tub with jets, clean, comfortable, and spacious. What wasnt great was front desk lady. An older lady who has poor customer service skills was very unhelpful and passive aggressive. $200 charged to my card, yes charged! My account was missing $200 from Doubletree. The money was supposed to be a deposit ( alot for a Doubletree but whatever ). I was told it would show in my account after i checked out. A week went by and no money. I called the hotel, and was told to wait 7 buissiness days, why? The lady was quite persistent that my account wasnt charged, and that the money was only placed on hold during my stay. She kept saying that it showed as void on her computer and refused to look into it further. I called my bank to make sure i hadnt made a mistake. Nope! The bank verified that Doubletree had charged me $200 and hadn't put it back. I called the hotel again and the rude lady told me that it could be up to 10 buissiness days. Wait...wasnt it voided? She refused to help in anyway. I had to file a claim with my bank in order for Chase to replace my money. I wrote a letter to customer service cooperate, i myself worked at The Disneyland Hotel for 12 years, and would never treat a guest like that. The rest of the staff were great. That being said, if i dont hear from Doubletree, there's always a Hyatt near Hilton properties. I'm sure they will appreciate my buissiness.

The neighborhood is not the best anymore, as there are several homeless people that sleep in the parking structure. But the hotel is amazing. I completely enjoyed my stay and intend to come back next month.

The hotel is in an odd location. We arrived at 9:00 pm and for such an updated hotel, they made us walk out to our car alone at night in the dark for a parking pass. We were leaving at 5:00 am so I asked if really needed due to lack of safety in the area to walk out alone. They told me yes. When I mentioned that none of the other cars had them on their dash, they were unconcerned They did offer water but it was warm and there were no ice machines. Lastly to be fair the rooms although nicely de orated and updated were very worn and stained. Carpet, tile etc. I am a frequent traveler and pretty fair minded but will not stay here again.

Here were the issues. First the keys did not work multiple times. Second I thought breakfast was included but it was not. Third I got cold cereal and coffee and toast and it took 30 minutes to get it and the restaurant was not busy. Finally I could not get a complete print out of charges only incidentals.

Friendly, helpful staff. They let us check in early and check out late (upon availability) which was very helpful for us. We had dinner and drinks at the bar, Carmen made great cocktails, her customer service was outstanding, and the food was very good 👍. We also breakfast, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my vegetarian needs, kudos to the cheff and server, the food was delicious 👏
