This hotel did not feel like a resort at all. The hotel and room are very much dated. The air conditioner in our room sounded like a plane was taking off all night. The water pressure in the shower was ridiculously low. The handyman came in and changed the showerhead during our stay in the room. We would have left and found another room, but Laguna was completely booked. We let management know how we feel, We never heard back. Would never recommend this hotel.

I guess we paid for the view. Hotel run down, only 2 outlets worked in the room, carpet was wet from air conditioning or refrigerator. Extra $35 fee for beach attendant with towels, chairs etc - did not see anyone with those items. Was fine for a quick one day stay at the beach, wouldn’t stay longer than that though.

Beach view was extremely beautiful. On the beach. Restaurant was great! Location was great. Property was run down but the sea takes it toll. Food n drinks were great and prices were high like Las Vegas strip hotels. All n all ,, we will be back for sure!! The vibe was great, the waves were 6’-10’ that was perfect for surfing. The rip tide was nuts!!! We have been going to HB Hyatt for 15 years, but due to their $910 a nite price This was the first time in years we strained, sure glad we did. Looking forward to comeback!! Sunset was awesome, dinner was 10/10. All the food was spot on. Just pricey … Totally recommend this place, probably would not bring kids here though. More for a couple get away!!
