Love how the rooms are in the back so that are more private from the street. And you need your room key to open up the gate to drive through. The rooms are stocked with everything you need. The Breakfast is good. My only suggestions are to put a light in the closet. Quite dark. I also think that their should be hooks in the bath for hanging up the bath towels.

I needed an extended stay to beat the heat of Fla and wanted a place near my old neighborhood that is walkable to MB. I loved having a full kitchen and a daily hot breakfast in the lobby. The kitchen crew were very sweet and offered so many options. The pool was nice, and open late so you could enjoy the firepit lounges. The front desk was friendly and accomodating and welcomed my dog and I for the lengthy stay. Laundry didn't work well ( shotty wifi runs the machines) and the night manager guy was grumpy and not helpful but the daytime staff was amazing. Karen and Caroline were amazing.

Awesome hotel. All the staff were very nice and welcoming. Full breakfast was exceptional. Eggs every day, sausage one day, biscuits and sausage gravey next day, some egg whites with tomato and basil, 3 kinds of cereal, oatmeal and 2 waffle makers and 2 toasters. Yogurt, milk , chocolate milk, bread, bagels, English muffins etc. SO MANY CHOICES! Pool is heated and gym was very clean and included Weights, treadmill, Elecpticals and bikes. Room was like a studio apartment with full size fridge, all needed cooking utensils, stove, microwave and even had dish soap (very thoughtful). No bathtub for toddlers, but easy if you're child showers sometimes. With traffic about 1 hr. From Universal Studios and 10 Minuts to the beach. If you forgot to bring something Target is literally a 5 min WALK. Manhatten beach is clean and had lots of parking relatively close to the water. My personal recommendation is that my visit would be highly Recommend.

Great location & friendly staff. The daily breakfast was really good with lots of options. The hidden fees got me at the end a daily 40 hotel fee 20 fee for parking. The parking is on property why charge?

Comfortable motel. Close to LAX and to Manhatten Beach shops. Better than average. It is a secure area with a gate but with a fee for parking. Modest to good breakfast. I would stay there again.

Amazing stay and property overall. Only cons would be shower floor was quite dirty and I would recommend getting a top floor room rather than bottom. We stayed in bottom and could hear absolutely everything above us. Kept us up at night.

A dead spider smashed on a shower wall in our room remained there throughout our stay from before we arrived. Put a dampener on our feelings about cleanliness. Room was very dark but well put together and functional. Weird to have no safe. Breakfast good and the cooks/servers lovely. Front desk were fine though one didn’t know if the y had safety deposit boxes which seemed odd.

There was dead worms in the room, coffee maker did not work. The light cover over the bed fell on my wife because it was broken and just set back on to look it was ok. The ceiling had big water stains on it and the wall next to it has water stains as well for some type of leak. For the price I paid we could have stayed somewhere nicer

We arrived during the very early morning as a late check-in, and the guy at the reception desk was very customer service oriented. We had the suite and really enjoyed it. The only downside is that I noticed that the toilet seat wasn’t cleaned. I used Lysol and paper towels to clean it. Otherwise it offered everything that we needed. The room also had kitchen utensils and dishes and cups. The front desk receptionist during the day was super sweet as well. I would definitely stay here again. I loved the area.

We travel to LA and stay in this hotel at least 4 times a year. It is convenient for us because of its location and especially because of the full kitchen (severely allergic guests). We used to be satisfied there; however, we have noticed that its installations and amenities have not been up to quality: couches are torn with broken armrests, carpets are worn and stained, fridges dented, and a bad odor in the suites (mold?). When you complain, they never have other rooms available in the same day. A complete room make over would be necessary, especially having in mind that the daily rates are not cheap.

The TV was a constant issue with the remote not working. A "2bedroom" was not an enclosed 2 bedroom. The second one was a loft, completely open, which is not ideal when looking for a 2 bedroom for children sake. It wasn't mentioned prior either. And no tub in either of the two bathrooms, which is also important for little ones.

Chain saws cutting trees at 7:30 am in the morning , never disclosed anywhere , then to cover themselves after many guests complained, they put signage, instead of saying sorry. Rude people Nina Solano, Rude Terry Hewett, rude, thought he was going to get physical Phoenix front desk , rude This is the worse out of any hotel I've been too, real hot head need corporate audit

Things were not repaired. Towel rack falling of the wall, light falling off the wall and electrical tape on the carpet as molding when you first entered the room. And the staff one of staff from the front desk (Kai) was very unprofessional in how she handled things.

Every single staff member I interacted with was excellent. I particularly have wonderful things to say about the front desk workers Sylvia and I can’t remember the other young girls name, but everyone was really kind, friendly and accommodating as we were in town for a funeral. Having an egg kind and friendly stuff really meant a lot to our family this visit. The only thing I would say about criticism is the parking is extraordinarily expensive. It’s not like we have a choice to park on the street because the main road is right outside so it feels kind of like a gotcha Very expensive for a long-term stay @ $25/day

Yes it is on a busy thoroughfare. But is walkable to downtown Manhatten Beach. I had problems with the TV. Other than that the breakfast was good. Gym and Pool. Very safe location.

The hotel is well-located near restaurants and shops, and close to the beach. The breakfast was very good with close access to both the 405 and the airport. We were there for a graduation at UCLA in Westwood, and though the drive was a bit longer than staying in Westwood, it felt like a SoCal vacation, and for that, we appreciated it.

Overall great place to stay. The walk to the beach was doable but a little long coming back after a long day at the beach. We did it three times, so very feasible if you like walk. The room was clean, some very minor repairs were needed, but nothing that prevented the function of the room. It was very clean, the bed was comfy and the room had everything you need. The staff was top notched and very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, with a few options. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Parking is horrible. Very small spots and lack of. Dishes were dirty in the room. Couch was torn. Had breakfast last morning and half of it was empty. No urgency to keep refilling.

The free breakfast at this hotel was great. They have the standard fare of eggs, sausage/bacon, waffles, cereal, but they had a unique hot item each day- a cheese soufflé, a frittata, etc… The oatmeal station had every topping you could ever want, think there were about 10. What really stood out was the staff running the breakfast. Every morning someone came to your table to ask how everything was. They were friendly, engaging in conversation as they restocked items. They took great pride in their work which really stood out to me. Location was good, short drive to the pier. The room had the space we needed, but is in need of an update.

Great stay at this property, great breakfast selections. Nice warm pool. I would recomeneded requesting upstairs as we had downstairs rooms and you hear hear the footsteps from above. Staff helpful and friendly. Safe location.

The lady working at the breakfast cafe was super friendly and caring. The place was clean and spacious. The only complaint could be $25 parking which we got over it. Highly recommend it.

Spacious suites with full kitchen facilities. Great for families vacationing together and don't want to eat out all the time. Shops of various kinds are within walking distance or a short drive away. Relatively healthy buffet breakfast but lack variety.
