Oak Tree Inn

I am having cancer treatment at City of Hope so booking a hotel with a hot tub is my priority. My niece, who is my driver for chemo, and I love to be able to relax the night before I spend all day at the hospital. They gave me a late check out so my niece could go back and relax the next day as well, rather than following me around the hospital for all my appointments. The staff was extremely kind and helpful to me. I had ice packs, that are essential to my treatment, that would not fit in the in room freezer so they stored them in their freezer. The free breakfast is not fancy but is adequate for a light breakfast before heading out for our day. I will definitely be staying here again should I have to be at the hospital early again.

Air conditioning effective, room clean, staff very courteous. Towels need upgrade. Towels are very cheap.

Dirty room, found a few roaches, loud ac, room smell as dirty

The area is convenient for food, parking, staff is courteous, and the room clean.

Normally, our stay is great. This time we added another individual to our room. When we got there the hotel had given us towels for two people not three. I included the individual”s name as an additional traveler. If the room sleeps 4 why is there an additional charge for a third person? I am puzzled.
