Fantastic base for a 1-night stay in Napa. Lovely room, hot spa tub and excellent continental breakfast. Good evening meal food options at Oxbow Public Market a short drive away.

Immaculate facilities including a big in ground hot tub. Ample parking. Easy walking distance to downtown Napa. Competitively priced for the Napa area.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. The cheese box was excellent! Hot tub was in great shape and they provided plenty of towels. Would stay here again.

The bathroom could have been cleaner in my opinion.

Spacious and clean

Very convenient for exploring Napa. Our room was nice and seemed very clean. The bathroom is tiny. Hot tub was pleasant. The only complaint was the floors looked clean but actually left dirt on our feet.

The stay was cozy, and I absolutely loved the lobby area—it had the charm of an old dining room but with plenty of natural light streaming into the garden. The only downside was the towels by the hot tub; they could have been cleaner, as they smelled like they’d been sitting for a while.

The Elm House is really nice! We stayed 4 nights. The place is spotless, staff is very helpful, our room was plenty big. All around a very nice spot. I would absolutely stay again. JH

Friendly staff,clean rooms and area. Our room opened directly into the dining area and lobby. A little odd. I’d stay there again but ask for a room in a different location.

The Elm House Inn is centrally located and close to downtown Napa with convenient parking on either side of the hotel. Although we had a spacious room, it lacked comfortable air temperature as the A/C unit was a wall unit partially blocked by a large dresser and couch with made it ineffective, especially in the bathroom area. The bathroom has one pedestal sink with no counter space to put anything. No room for hair dryer except to set in the sink- same with toothbrush, etc. There was lots of street noise and you can hear the conversations from the lobby which was right under us. There is a “white noise” machine to help with this, but not desirable to listen to constantly. There was daily breakfast that was included- tasty, but no variation from day to day. Baked cookies are available at 6:00pm- although tasty, serving them in the afternoon (3:00 or 4:00) would be more appropriate than right at dinner time. The management did provide some fans for the room to accommodate the heat as there are no ceiling fans- Napa gets pretty warm during the summer days, and the sun sets on that side of the hotel. The furnishings were dated, and the rug needs to be cleaned and repositioned so as not to show the floor tape. Bed comfort was average, multiple pillows of varying softness. Coffeemaker and fridge in room. Large couch, but no end table or coffee table to set anything on. Due to the above issues, I would recommend elsewhere for your stay.

The room was spacious, very comfortable, and clean.

Staff are friendly and great, and location is convenient. Continental breakfast is a plus. However I was in a room on the bottom floor, and the bed/mattress was not comfortable and worn out. The blinds (which were providing privacy from the parking lot) were broken in some spots and not efficient in light reduction. Tended to overhear conversations and noise outside my room. Would return but would request a “quieter” room.

The Elm House in is located right next to a busy/noisy traffic circle, so it was noisy most of the night. And - although the breakfast is a lovely addition, if you have a room in the main house where the breakfast is served, it is SUPER loud in the morning. We could hear the staff setting up and all of the people dining, because it was right outside our door. If you want to actually sleep during your stay here, I would recommend a room in the adjacent house (which is part of their property also, but away from the traffic circle a bit and not near the breakfast noise).

The staff was nice. The room was nice. Bed was comfortable. The room we were put in had the worst placement of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The door to our room was in the middle of the lobby, where breakfast was served and people checked it. I could open my did and grab a muffin without leaving my room. The gap under the door was almost an inch. So people enjoying their breakfast, or checking in and out of the hotel, sounded like they were in our room. The sound of glassware, cereal being poured, the microwave beeping, containers opening- these all echoed into our room, making it impossible to sleep past 7am. Even when it want breakfast, the sound of anyone checking in at the front desk or walking around the hotel, echoed into our room. We were told we got a VIP room and were upgraded- this room placement was the worst. Had we been in any other room on the property, I likely would have had a great stay. But room 105 should be changed to a utility room, or offered at an extreme discount, and people should be warned of this inconvenience. If you are looking for a quiet stay, and hope to sleep past 7am- make sure you don’t get room 105

Room 106….I don’t need to say any more! This room backs to the Inn’s 6 car parking lot. You hear EVERYTHING…street traffic, people talking, luggage rolling, cars honking each time they’re locked or unlocked, car lights illuminating your room! Not to mention the dining room is directly outside of the room’s door. We asked for another room and were told they were sold out. We ended up leaving early the second night. This room needs to come with a pre warning and half price! We’ve stayed at the Elm House for many years dating back to when BW operated it. Never again!

This was my 15th or more stay at the Elm House Inn. It is a favorite as it makes me feel like home. The staff is accommodating and helped me this last trip when I wasn't feeling very well. They always go the extra mile. BONUS- there is a hot tub and a beautiful fire place. It is also a short walk to downtown. I travel a lot and really enjoy my stay at the Elm House Inn.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We needed to check in early to leave for a concert. They gave us our keys and parking pass for our late return. The breakfast, snacks and amenities were great.

I had made a mistake 2 years ago and forgot to cancel my reservation, 100% my fault. They were incredibly nice and didn't charge me for my room, even though they had every right to. This was our next trip to Napa from Minnesota, and made sure we (2 couples) stayed there to thank them for their kindness. Great location for a wine trip. All the staff was incredibly friendly, breakfast was very nice...coffee, juice, milk, a few hot items, cereal, coffee cake, fresh fruit, cookies at 6:00 pm. Rooms were very clean, dated... but the hotel had a very warm "homey" feel to it Would absolutely stay there again.

I am writing this review to thank property manager Lucy and OnCall person Amber. We reached Elm House Inn quite late into the night for check in, but had issues checking in despite following the instructions. It could’ve turned into a terrible situation with the room being inaccessible due to a logistical issue, but Amber and Lucy were quick to help despite the odd hours. They reviewed the issue, got to the root cause, arranged a new room for us and ensured my wife and I were well taken care of. I highly recommend Elm House Inn for their customer centricity and kudos to Amber and Lucy for their efforts…

The location was convenient to the day trips. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with tips. The breakfast service was perfect.

A wonderful stay in every way! The breakfast was hot and good for a complimentary meal with a few options to choose from. Amber at the front desk was very nice and had excellent service. Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting an easy stay near Napa for a reasonable price

Amazing Bed and Breakfast. The rooms were so nice, extremely comfortable bed, spacious bathrooms. The staff was AMAZING!!

Netflix didnt in our room. However, our hostess was very kind and prompt to respond to the issue. We ended up being moved to another room, which was more than fine for us, but we did not know this was an upgrade! Plus we got a very nice hospitality basket and 10% discount for the very little inconvenience! Will definitely come back to visit 😃

The Elm House Inn is located on the west side of Napa and is situated on a roundabout. We had a room facing the street and traffic noise was significant during the day. Perhaps a room facing 3rd Street would be quieter. The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff is friendly. The continental breakfast is good.

Loved this place! 10-15 minute walk to downtown Napa on neighborhood sidewalk for shopping, food and wine!

If you like the Hampton Inn, you’ll feel comfortable here. No personality. Pre-frozen everything for breakfast. Pre-frozen bagels, prefrozen rolls, premade egg “disks”. No vegetarian option on the day “omelettes” were served with bacon. Only fresh item was fruit salad-and they ran out of it by 8:15.

Absolutely love staying here. I’ve seen this property for a while and I’m so glad I got the chance to the one thing that surprised me most was their continental breakfast. It was more than that that was fresh pastries, fresh omelettes, and waffles so when somebody says a continental breakfast this place gives more than that everybody was amazing. Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfy on. It was a great place to stay in Napa.

Awesome stay with a great breakfast. The morning of our stay we had choices of waffles or omelets cooked to order along with fresh croissants, fruit, etc. Spent a wonderful evening at the Blue Note Jazz club located nearby

My husband and I stayed at Elm House Inn for a few nights and had a great experience. The staff was extremely nice at check in and any time we needed anything. They have some yummy breakfast options each morning and fresh baked cookies each day at 6pm. Better get down there quick though cause they go fast ;) Very clean, affordable, quiet and overall comfortable stay.

Room was very spacious and clean. Located near a highway and a large outlet mall. Downtown is about a 20 min walk or a short car ride. Easy access to the wine train. The breakfast options are very limited and appear to be pre-packed and heated.
