We got two rooms, one for me, my wife, and our kids, then another for my brother and sister. We were told it was connecting rooms that was not the case. Then we showed up around 7:30 PM and checked in. The manager was super rude and acted like we didn't matter. He even took a personal call while checking us in. We got our keys, and they failed to give us our parking pass, so I had to go back down to the front desk. Then, when we got to the rooms, one room was semi-clean, and the other was not even clean. Both rooms smelled of smoke and weed. There was food in the room from the previous person, which made the room smell like rotten eggs; the beds were dirty, and the shower had dirt rings in it. I went back downstairs, and the manager didn't believe me that the room was not cleaned, so he made us wait till one of the workers went and checked the room. Then proceeded to tell us we needed to wait about 45 minutes till the room was cleaned and ready, at 8 PM. Once the room was ready, they went into the room. The manager failed to give us our room keys, saying he had already given us them but when we told him that the room was dirty, he took the keys and did not give them back. So that was one room; the second room that my family and I were trying to stay in had mold and cracks, and cockroaches. the pool was dirty and jacuzzi was taped off. Fridge, a/c and tv did not work and the Hotel was supposed to have a microwave there was none. Worst stay in my life!!!

When read I read the discription of the hotel it said that they had a heated pool, hot tub no hot tub and pool was not heated. The rooms were clean but the bed was extremely uncomfortable and one bed was lopsided. The microwave was not strong enough to pop popcorn and barely heated my toddlers bottles. They also said it had breakfast oprions available but there was no restraunt open. Another thing was the area not the safest and the pictures they showed surrounding the hotel was not what I seen.

I have atayed in Ramada Hotels in the uk and have been Pleased with the service generally. This time l was disappointed. The Laundry towels were not available when we arrived. The towels did not arrive till the next day. The booking into our room was slow. We had to go through the process again when the person dealing with the booking walked out of the room. The floor was dirty it obviously had not been cleaned. There was no Bar facilities and restaurant facilities they were both closed throughout our stay. The under floor car park needed a clean up trash was on the floor. We understand there was a problem getting good staff the impression was they werenot well paid. The aircon was very noisy it obviously needs some maintenance. The view from the external balcony of the city was good.

Great customer service, room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Swimming pool dirty and no hot tub. No breakfast. Area where hotel is located was sketchy homeless, druggies, and prostitution all around hotel. Can't even walk to to local restaurants.

I booked the hotel on the 28th through HOTELS.COM where i paid the hotel charge of $372.00. Everything looked ok on the app untill i got to the hotel on the 5th to check in. The front desk person couldn't find the payment that was made through Hotels.com, but they did find my name and that i was scheduled to stay there. Then i was charged a second time for the room in the amount of $399.04. What is the point of prepayment if the payment goes up in smoke. I need a refund!!!!! It is clear that some one on behalf of hotels.com or Ramada made a mistake and it needs to be justified. After checking in we got in to the room and it was still dirty with trash from the last guest still in the trash can, unflushed toilet with 'stuff' in the bathroom & unmoped hardwood floors. The work out room had two broken treadmills which made the room rather useless unless you just want to use the dumbbells. On day two of the stay trying to get clean towels from housekeeping was a chore where they didnt want to give any - put in the request with the front desk to have some delivered no one ever showed up. For a hotel this size they are more interested in money than customer service. Upon checking out things go from bad to worse where at the front desk they still couldnt find the missing payment and couldnt give any explanation into why these charges took place. I strongly dont recomend staying here unless you want a headache and a Hassel. Just plain bad bad BAD.

Do not stay here!!! The room smells. The AC doesn't cool off the room. There was hair on the tub ledge and on our towels hanging in the bathroom area. So gross! No hand soap or any travel amenities were provided. We called three times to request an iron and each time the front desk said they would send someone. We never received an iron. So far we've killed two cockroaches. So gross! It seems like people live here by what we've seen, including animals and animal feces in the halls. There is not an ice machine on each floor and only one ice machine worked on the last floor we checked. The neighborhood does not seem safe. This was confirmed by both of our Uber drivers. They both also told us there are prostitutes on this street and the street behind the hotel. I am shocked this is a Ramada property. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

There was no line yet it took about 20 minutes to get checked in. The room AC hardly worked, we got to the room about 8pm and the room didn’t cool down until about 3am. The tub water wasn’t going down so we showered while there was standing water. The floors were dirty, lots of crumbs and the floor hadn’t been mopped because we took off our shoes and socks and walked around and under our feet became black. There were deep stains in the single chair and footstool. We will never stay there again when visiting San Diego.

This place was infested with roaches. It needs to be shut down. Health department should be called. We were a group and got 4 rooms. We had to change rooms and the rooms were the same. One of our group actually left due to the number of roaches. We had 3 children with us a 13 yr 8 yr and 2 months. This is not a safe and healthy place to stay. You should remove them from your choices. We are all going to file a report with the health department and what makes it worse is the white older male manager did not care one bit and said it was our problem and to leave or deal with it.

The room I stayed in had several worn out items. Curtains were disintegrating from age. Armoire was broken, entrance door to the room stuck, and you could see through the sides giving a feeling of not very secure. The US Flag outside was torn and faded also.

Room itself was very spacious and the amenities and staff were very helpful and nice. Room itself was generally clean although they had clearly missed a few spots (namely hairs on the toilet seat and dust across a few surfaces hence the four star review) the location was good and the checkout process was also very smooth.

We were flying out of Tijuana early in the morning, so this hotel was in a convenient location. I liked the parking structure. The guest attendant, Reggie, had some issues with his hygiene (bad dandruff and visible scars, probably from eczema, on his arms). The room had nice new flooring, but everything else was average. The new windows were not installed properly so there was a gap which brought in a lot of noise from the freeway.

Worst hotel experience. Period. Short staffed. Did not want to work. Lazyness/ no customer service attributes. Cigarette smell in elevators. Urine smell as your entrance to the hotel. No a/c in Lobby/humid. Low quality mattress and stained sheets. Torn sheets. Torn curtains. Loose Faucets and shower head. Floor was sticky/ Couldn't walk barefoot Not much insulation/ could hear music from both sides of room. Homeless around parking lot. Loose women around the hotel. Hotel was over booked/ thank god i checked in at 4pm.

There was no indication by a sign or even verbally when I checked in that housekeeping only comes every 3 days. Then when they finally did come, they took the dirty towels but did not leave any new ones. The front desk staff was not impressive or particularly friendly.

We where there 3 nights but staff informed us that they clean room every three days. So, three of us - with no new towels. No new shampoo, same sheets.. The only bright spot was that the guy on reception let us park for free.

They canceled my reservation for no reason then reinstated it. The man at counter wanted to write down my credit card number on a piece of paper to fix my issue later because there was a line behind me. He was very impatient. The staff cleaned my room and took the only towel it had in it and when we asked to have some towels they said they had none so we had to go buy our own towels. This place gets worse and worse and I tried giving benefit of the doubt but I can’t anymore. The only good thing about this hotel is the upper floor bay view. The only thing done for this horrible stay was they took off the $15 a night parking fee in which there was hardly any parking in their lot as it was.

There's a lots of prostitution on that street, noisy, loud music playing in the lobby, not clean at all. I will never go there again, hard to park on there premises. Trash in the hallways, iwill never recommend this place too anyone,

The entire area was scummy. Got greeted by two prostitutes. Homeless people were rummaging through the parking lot. If you get a "bay view" unit, just know you are looking at industrial buildings and hearing possibly the loudest freeway noises ever while only getting a glimpse of the bay through the cover of metallic structures. We tried using the air conditioning to cover the sound but that broke after about 30 minutes and made one of the loudest metal grinding noises when turned on. Oh yeah, took about 40 minutes to check in and then we discovered we had no towels. People were hanging outside of the units and yelling and talking. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Shockingly bad.

I have stayed at Ramada Inns before and usually, they are spot on with friendly staff, safe locations, clean facilities, above average service and amenities, but they dropped the ball hard on this one. Check in was easy and gentleman who checked us in was cordial. Really, the issues have nothing to do with customer service by the employees, since contact with them was minimal. The Good: -check in was easy -front desk worker was professional -requested to have multiple rooms adjoining and was accommodated -requested to change one of the rooms because of smell of cigarette smoke. The room offered to change to was worse, so we kept the original. -overall, the worker who checked us in was willing to accommodate reasonable requests without issues. The bad: -somewhat affordable -area is sketchy: prostitution activity right at the entrance to the parking lot—caveat to this is that if you leave them alone, and stick to your family activities, they (apparent crime driven people) stay out of your way -no google or Apple Pay -one of the rooms reeked of cigarette smell -place is old- walls/doors are dirty in common areas and in the rooms -floors were dirty so that if you walk barefoot, you can feel the dirt. If your feet are wet, you’ll see black dirt marks right away, indicative that the place isn’t properly cleaned/mopped. -NO BREAKFAST -hot tub out of service/wrapped in yellow tape -overall, place is old and rundown -DO NOT RECOMMEND, especially if accompanied by the family

We walked in the Ramada with the music blasting as we walked up the hallway. We find a guest disgruntled about the band playing loudly at 10:30 pm. We could barely communicate with the customer service rep because of the music. Then we find out they don’t serve breakfast anymore. We’ve been coming to this Ramada for nearly 10 years. This will be our last visit.

First off, the staff was nice and helpful. That said, this hotel is a dirty dump. Staff admitted bookings were low and staff was limited as a result. Prostitutes on every corner. Dirty floors (our feet were black) broken coffee machine, no blankets on beds. Food offering in lobby limited. Loud noise outside. Awful place to stay unless you are really on a budget.

The only hotel we could find a room due to cancelled flight and conferences in San Diego. Everything within 50 miles was booked. I was grateful to find a hotel at all! Bed was comfortable and clean however the room had a musty smell. Restaurant had limited menu but food was good. Pool was questionable. Common areas not too clean.
