The hotel was easy to access from the freeway. We arrived around 11pm. The night clerk was not friendly and he seem to be bother to have to check me in. I called ahead to let him know i was running late. Breakfast could be better. They only had a continental breakfast. The coffee was good but there was no creamer/ half and half. They only had regular milk.the cleaning crew was great. They were super helpful and friendly. They clean our roo. Without having to requested. Overall it was a good hotel.

The motel has an older vibe, with smaller rooms and a compact layout. We spent most of our time out and about and only needed the room for sleeping, showering, and getting ready. If we had needed to spend more time in the room, it would have felt too cramped for us. Clean room, pillows way too full (personal opinion). Breakfast area was limited and nearly empty an hour before closing and told nothing was left to refill stock. ie: yogurt. Basic place for good price on hotwire if you don't need anything fancy.

You get what you pay for. Decent room for the money. Older decor. Don't expect the same level as a Hampton or Holiday Inn Express. Close to San Diego. Right off main highway. Room was clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast was continental style.

Clerk was considerate. Free Internet was super slow (low single digits in my case) if that’s important to you. Rooms are ground-level and 2nd floor. Nothing fancy, but everything was neat and clean. Room had a microwave and small refrigerator (and of course a TV). Bed was firm but not uncomfortable. Motel is located near I-5, so there was some traffic noise, but not too bad. A deposit was required… was told it would take a few days for the refund to post to my credit card statement. Would stay again considering the reasonable price.

The room was dirty & run down. Mirror was still dirty. Bathroom light made a high pitch sound when you turn it on. The tub (overflow cap) was sitting on the tub so you see a big black hole. First day we had a nice white comforter on top and second day it was gone. Itchy blanket.

Everything was good. Clean and comfortable. Nice and friendly staff. Liked that you couldn’t hear outside noise. Bathroom could use some upgrades on the extras like the toilet paper holder. But overall was worth it. This is our second time staying here.

First of all the room was extremely dirty. The bathroom has mold on the ceiling and the walls had brown patches. There was also a roach in the room I had to kill. After check out the person checking me out did not correctly check me out causing me to be charged an extra night. The staff on the phone was nice to resolve the issue but overall was a terrible experience.

This place was clean overall but the floors. The floors were still dirty and there was hair all over. Another issue is the water. The water seems to not work as the water would stay cold during showers and from the sink; It would get warm at times but wouldn’t stay warm for long.

The property was clean, but in overall poor repair. We had trouble closing the door to our room. There was no hot water on our second day. The furnishings in the room were clean, but old and dated. The lighting in the room was poor. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean with comfortable beds, but I am unlikely to book at this property again.

Worth the price we paid for, don't expect greatness at the cost of staying. Noisy - fwy runs parallel and noise 24/7, floors are non carpet, so they feel sticky/dirty, carry socks or slippers to walk around. The room was a non smoke, but I doubt it as soon you walk in the smell hits you, could be the sheets if they share among the room that are ok with smoke carries the smell over even after wash. The wall art are filled with dust. Breakfast no warm food, yogurt, bananas, oranges, coffee & granola bars, decent for the price. Big plus!!!! Parking is included this is huge... if all you need is a place to crash this is a perfect option, bring ear plugs.

Property was clean, quick check in but they took $150 which is fine but was told up to 15 days for refund. Room was next to street so freeway noise was bad , next door noise was bad. You can hear everything. I would stay again for the night but not long term

Rooms look to have been updated but it was not as clean. Walls were dirty, restroom door hinges very squeaky (I added some wd40 since we had a toddler and the door wouod make noise at night) , ceiling dirty and there were small bugs in the sink that kep coming out. Shower hot water would only run for a few minutes then cold water wouod come out after.

This hotel charged me twice for who knows what. I was told it would take 7-10 business days to be removed, but I want to know why I was charged $167 twice AND the $100 deposit when I only had ONE room. I tried calling and calling, but the line is always busy. I can never get a hold of anyone. The room was mediocre. Descent enough to lay my head for a few hours before continuing my journey. NO ELEVATOR so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. Only convenient thing was the freeway was just right there when we needed to leave in the early morning. No breakfast, except a bag of muffins or “to go” items.

Costumer service at night was so bad!! In the morning the guy was nice and professional. Room was dirty and no hot water what so ever. So much traffic at night. We had prostitutes come up to our car window with our kids in the car. Homelessness asking for money as well. I left after the first night and cancelled the other 2 nights. Never again!!!

I didn't rent a car for my trip and was trying to go on a budget for transportation, so it worked out that this hotel is at less than 10 minutes walk from the trolley station. It's a good affordable option in a nice location that is close to both downtown and the country border.

Good free parking, No coffee maker, rooms recently painted. Felt very unsafe outside the complex and were hobbos and prostitutes walking around. Freeway is near so very convinient to Get t F out quick of horrible area but noisy as hell. Price was decent but could be cheaper. 10 minutes aways from SD city and Coronado Isle so that is very convinient without overpaying for a hotel on those areas.

This is an older property that has been updated through multiple layers of paint. When we pulled in the levels of Constantine wire were a bit overwhelming. However, it was clean, quiet, and easily accessed to our daily adventures. On our final night, there was a loud and obnoxious crowd in the room above us that was not addressed that were still partying when we left at 3:45am. Security had been very present up until this point. Local police were constantly in the area and there was a large tower right outside the hotel where police viewed the area around the clock. We would probably return to this hotel in the future.

So clean and great customer service. I don’t remember the last time I stayed somewhere where they cleaned the rooms daily without specific request, so I want to start by saying that. With kids, I appreciated coming back to a swept and mopped room. The rooms look like they’ve been updated, but they’re still old. It’s similar to the newer Motel 6. They say breakfast is included, but it’s all packaged muffins, oatmeal, and cereal. Nothing hot except oatmeal. It was good for the price—but not scenic or great for walks.
