This is just an affordable motel in Ojai. No frills, nothing fancy. Walkable to town, but definitely not in the heart of it. Pool and jacuzzi were nice, but the pool is definitely not heated. But, was great using the jacuzzi for sure. Lots of bikes available, but we didn't take advantage.

Very clean room that seems well maintained--everything worked and no weird stains or paint coming off the wall or weird smells. Housekeeping appears to do a good job. Check in was easy and quick. Walkable to downtown Ojai in about 10-15 minutes.

The property is clean and close to the wedding we were going at - however I would not stay there again. There was absolutely zero water pressure, the tv didn't work, the towels are super old and harsh, there was no soap in the dispenser, the pool is right next to the main road and very load. Also, they won't clean your room until your third night which is annoying for the prices they charge. There's better options in Ojai.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. The property was clean and staff were nice. However, the room seemed to have a musty/moldy smell and we could see mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The rest of the room was nice and clean. The bathroom just needs a little tlc.

What a great little place to stay when visiting Ojai! The staff was super friendly and helpful with their restaurant recommendations (which were spot on)! The room was large and clean. Only complaint is AC was a little noisy, but happy to have it with the heat, and it worked well to cool the room! TV had cable, refrigerator in the closet- everything we could ask for at a reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again if we happen to venture back to town!

We liked the free bikes, easy parking, our room was spacious and very quiet. We did not like that both mattresses we tried were unsupportive and we could feel the coils. The linens were also worn and pilling. For the price, we expected a comfortable bed.

Hotel rooms need a facelift. Very old bathrooms, room feels gloomy just not very inviting or comfortable. Fresh coat of paint, replace some furniture and fix up vanity/sink area with newer appliances as well as better quality of lighting. Staff get an A+. Very warm and friendly

The room was fine but the staff was disconnected and pretty unfriendly. Office is open at 8am and they showed up late. Called after hours number and no one answered. Basically a room with a tv and nothing else. You all could do better

The pre-checkin process was grueling. I paid! I confirmed. I still got frequent reminders that I had to confirm terms, provide a car plate, and give my credit card again. I’ve never been through such a wringer for a motel. Once i arrived checking was great and I’m very pleased with the accommodation

Everything was awesome at Casa Ojai. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Josh was very personable and knowledgeable re the area. Julia, Daisy and the manager in the office were always so helpful and very nice. You could tell everyone loved their jobs and were great with the guests. We cannot wait to go back. Ojai is a great little town.

The staff was very helpful with restaurants and directions . Rooms were clean and spacious . Towels could be a little softer and a microwave in the room would have been nice for late night. ( there is one in the office) The pool and hot tub are salt water which was nice and refreshing . It was affordable and quiet ! Thanks for a great stay !

The room was great and the staff was nice. The online paperwork to check in was a little annoying. But the hotel is light years better than when I stayed at the “Chantico Inn” up the street. I’ll never go back to that place. At Chantico, I was there for 3 weeks and had to change rooms 6 times do to maintenance issues in all their rooms. I do wish that this place offered a continental breakfast, but that’s really my only complaint. The king bed room I had was huge.

Large room with comfy beds but in room coffee was not so good. Also the heater had to be reset and still did not warm up the room much at all. The desk provided extra blankets so we were OK. Ojai is beautiful and fun to visit and breakfast at Bonnie Lu’s was delicious. Dinner at Sea Fresh very good and reasonable. Both close to Casa Ojai.

We had a very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed. Enjoyed the pool, spa and even checked out free bikes (manual) to ride into town. Getting to the bike trail is a bit of an adventure but the trail is an easy, pleasant ride. You'll recognize the Inn's design as an older style motor hotel so it's not fancy but they have updated the decor. You can enjoy a special time here in a resort community without being haunted by the cost. No breakfast onsite or within walking distance but there is a microwave and a toaster in the lobby so BYO. They could use some fluffy towels, but we were glad we chose this inn.

We came to Casa Ojai after reading numerous reviews at other places and chose it due to the higher than average ratings as compared to other resort hotels in the area. Casa Ojai is a throwback to motels that dot California. We choose this type of lodging when we are are short road trips. Why? because they are so nostalgic. Also Casa Ojai was completely renovated and it felt new and fresh. You will also find that there is a day spa and great Italian restaurant within a short 1/4 mile walk. Both stay open late so you shouldn’t have to worry about competing with all the other out-of-towners. Enjoy your road trip.
