This property is dated. Some areas have been updated but a lot have not. Of the 5 elevators in the lobby, 2 worked at most. There is not an option to take the stairs to your room. Anytime someone in my room showered, the bathroom flooded and I'm not talking a little water on the floor. There was holes in the carpet, door frames were dry rotted, parking gates were broken so there were limited entry and exit points making it impossible to get in and out of the parking lot some days. This hotel could be great if it had $100k makeover. On the upside the breakfast was delicious.

Bought this room for the advertised airport shuttle but it has terrible hours. 9-5. I don't usually feel like I have to read fine print to get normal shuttle hours, my flight wasn't even all that early but I had to leave by 8:00. I called to ask for an earlier shuttle a few days in advance and was placed on hold for literally 40 minutes by the front desk I have no idea why. No exception to the time was given when I requested. Someone texted me to ask how things were but then never responded. No bedding for the hideabed plus the room phone didn't work so I had to go all the way downstairs from the eighth floor to ask for some. Breakfast is insanely good so that's a plus. If you're not counting on the shuttle or worried about service it could probably be fine here.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. We have stayed at this hotel many times before, but this place is a dump now. The hotel was dirty, there were no towels for the pool for two days, and to top it all off, there was no coffee on Monday for breakfast. The elevators were also not working properly, and three of the five were out of service.

The hotel is overall very nice and comfortable. We had to switch rooms due to our outlets not working and the air conditioning not working well but the hotel switched us very quickly with no issues. The floors of the room were not very clean and had visible dirty areas but the bedding seemed fine. The pool/gym area was very nice but the pool could have used a cleaning. The breakfast had a nice variety and it was great to have them make you a hot breakfast right in front of you. Only downside was that some of the cooks did not know how the tickets that they give out for breakfast worked and did not want to make our whole parties breakfast because of that. We did let the front desk know that they gave us a hard time in front of other guests in line and did short us 2 breakfast servings. The front desk said they would look into it but we heard nothing about it afterwards. Again, overall the hotel is really nice. They have a beautiful set up that feels relaxing and fun, the rooms are nice and the front desk staff as well as the maintenance people were very nice. Only issues were the cleanliness and the one cook.

Beautiful place once walking in but hotel room was dirty tub had hair in it. You can tell it’s old first room they gave us we walked into and it hadn’t even been clean by room service yet second room was dirty on the tables and the tub had hair in it, and I took pictures And showed them downstairs. Breakfast was pretty basic eggs, cereal oatmeal they did have an omelette bar sausage seemed undercooked. Potatoes were undercooked. It was an average

The first room was dirty, with stained sheets and I asked for a new room it was better but still not clean. The restroom was gross, not clean. I do not thin staff puts attention into cleaning. The room is an attempted update, but really dated. It is a very convenient OC location, but after the 2nd stay we will not return. The mattress was also as hard as a rock, very comfortable 2 day stay I was miserable. The only win was the omelette was made with love at breakfast from the sweetest staff. I would not recommend this hotel there are much better hotels in the are for the same price.

There were brown stains on the carpet in my hotel room, several. There were burn marks in the carpet. The door to the bathroom had red streaks of stains down the door. The bathroom floor had visible hairs. The couch in the living room had a huge white stain. The fold out ottoman under the vanity had a white stain. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I travel a lot for work and stay at many different hotels, this was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been to. I will not be staying there again.

The staff is nice enough. But we requested the rooms to have sheets changed twice and you could tell they weren’t. Our room was infested with roaches, all over the bathroom walls and in the main room. It just felt disgusting.

In room 610 there was a lot of BLACK mold in the bathrooms along the corners of the walls and in the tub. There was a lot of water hardness deposits on the shower head and the sink faucets. The water coming out of the faucets had a bad smell. There were holes in the bed sheets and bed spreads. Lots of dust in the cushions of the couch and I looks like things have not been thoroughly cleaned behind and on top of furniture. It should be more of a 1.5 star not a 3 star.

Had two rooms. Only was able to check into one. After the regular check in time the other room was not available but was told it was already a assigned and near the first room. Upon the return from dinner went to check in and the room tha was assigned was subpar. Various areas smelled like urine including sheets and courtains. The bathroom door was wilted from water. Tub plug was removed, mold on the shelf, etc. Also,couch seats stained and scratches on the door.

We found roaches and nail clippings in the restroom and smelled like urine as soon as we get walked in. This was our first day checked in. The a/c unit was not working. The room was warm and the front desk was no help. We had to sleep in a warm room for 2 nights. The pillows were in 3 different pieces. If I can give them no stars I would.

Very dirty! The bathroom vanity was falling apart. The floors in the room were filthy, we could not take off our shoes. They had a towel shortage, we had to go to the front desk to get towels. Housekeeping and the front desk did not answer the phone when we called.

I should have known better! When I was assigned a room, I didn't ask any questions. I didn't ask, "Is this room right next to a giant pump that will run ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT? I honestly think that rooms that are adjacent to VERY noisy machinery should be the very last rooms assigned to anyone and only in desperation. I also think that folks at the front desk who are assigning rooms should have to go stand in the rooms that have a questionable location. They need to know exactly what they are assigning. I should have requested a room change, but my daughter (who has a disability) was exhausted and would not have moved easily. Fortunately, I do bring earplugs.

The place is in need of renovation and from the signage up around the lobby it appears they are about to start a facelift. Included breakfast was great. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The room’s bathroom was beaten up and tired, with chipped paint, uneven flooring. The room was not throughly cleaned before we arrived, with a bit of food crumbs remaining on floor under desk and a discarded (or lost) contact lens on the bathroom counter. Airport shuttle did not start working until 9 AM so that was a disappointment as we chose the hotel for that amenity and then could not use it since we needed to be at the airport by 8:30 AM. Overall not a bad value, but don’t expect greatness.

expedia says airport shuttle starts at 530am, fron tdesk told me not till 9ish. came back to check out in evening and front desk said shuttle wasnt available. Room looked very old and rundown. noisy as well seemed like some rooms nearby were being worked on.

The rooms need to be updated. The rooms were not in great shape. Rusty door frames in the bathroom, water stains around the tub, refinished tub had peeling refinishing compound that was peeling, furniture was in ok condition, broken curtain rods, entry door was very squeaky due to a bent hinge pin. On positive note; bed was very comfortable and all employees were wonderful, nice lobby and an above average breakfast.

This is an older location so rooms are a little dated. Some cleaning issues with hair on floors, sinks, bath. My wife has stayed there a few nights for business and on different dates. Some rooms were nice and some were dingy and had an older odor. Accommodations are nice and staff is very friendly. Price is good especially with breakfast offered.

The door to the room got stuck and wouldn't open, once inside the room it smelled very old and musty. Everything seemed very dated and worn. The room was clean-ish, but very lacking for the price. The mattress was poor and very squeaky. Overall not a horrible place, but I wouldn't stay there again.

After a terrible experience at another motel this place was a dream. The only issue we had was the breakfast person refused to give me three orders because I didn’t have 3 breakfast tickets. I was told by the front desk I did not need a ticket for my kids. Eventually after explaining she did give me the extra plate but it was an unpleasant interaction. And the third order was provided long after the first two orders. The rest of the staff were amazing. One employee even came to my room to give me a new room key and a blanket. Our room was cleaned even though we only stayed two nights. Staff was super helpful, professional and polite.

I was checking in at the Embassy Suites in Santa Ana with Ezmerlada, after a long drive and hectic day. I was occupied with a zoom meeting during this process and she mentioned happy hour drinks, so I took a pen from a cup full of pens to jot this down. She abruptly said don't touch my stuff and I questioned what stuff she was talking about confused on what encited this weird response. She replied don't grab my pens, and I told her I needed to write a note because my memory is weak and I'd forget what she had said about happy hour drinks. She responded with mockery and disrespect. Then I told her I didn't understand why she was reacting this way, I was being cooperative. Ezmeralda expressed that she felt threatened and said she would bring security to kick me out of the hotel. I understood then that this was a racially motivated reaction and she was discriminating against me. We talked to the manager about this situation and even though he was sympathetic, nothing was resolved. He said he would give her more training. This is not proper customer service and I will never return to this hotel. To make matters worse, a guest opened our door when we were sleeping at 12 am because they gave him the room we had already checked in to. They put us in a dangerous situation if the person who walked in wasn't a nice guy because anything could've happened. My children and I were terrified luckily the man was polite. Nonetheless, this was an invasion of our privacy. Stayed 5 days.

Checking in took 30 minutes due to being short-staffed and inexperienced team. They couldn't seem to do the most simplest tasks without having to discuss things with one another while the guests waited. Manager was nowhere in sight. Finally checked in but room had foul stench. Towels were not fully dried and damp. Wifi didn't work with our information so we had to call IT service but that didn't work either. Pool area had cockroaches. The tipping point was when the front checked a different guest to our room an hour after we checked in. They walked into our room while we were at the pool and saw our open luggages in the room. Good thing they were nice people and left the room untouched. We met them as they came out of our room. Our keys were no longer able to open the room so they gave their keys to us. Just an all round disaster of an experience. Went to the front to request a full refund because there were too many bad signs. We decided to leave. While there, half a dozen people were there crowding the desk saying they had problems with their keys etc. Good thing they honored our complaint and gave us the refund. And to top it off, they said we can leave the parking lot without any payment, so we took their word, but the parking gate didn't open. Had to ask valet to help us and explained the situation again. We left there flabbergasted at what we just went through.

While we waited at the lobby rugs were stained so were the chairs and couches . Once in our room the room had a smell and couch, chairs and carpet were dirty and stained, bathroom was dirty and the corners of the door were rusted and dirty . Not the mentioned that I was we were getting unpacked someone else walked I out room with a key given when they checked in ! I asked every day for my room to be cleaned, and each day it was not done. I repeatedly informed the front desk of my disappointment, and each time they assured me the manager would be notified and it would be resolved the following day. Unfortunately, it never happened. On my second night, I returned to a dirty room and called for fresh towels. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again only to be told no one was available to deliver them and that I would have to come downstairs to get them. On the third night, I found the room uncleaned yet again and didn’t even bother calling. I went straight to the front desk for towels and once more explained what had happened for three consecutive nights. Each time, staff blamed housekeeping and said the manager would be informed, but I never received any follow-up. Adding to the frustration, I only parked on the property the first night but was charged for parking for my entire stay. I raised this issue and requested compensation for the experience, but despite being assured the manager would contact me, I received no communication and was billed in full. To make matters worse, on my third evening I ran out of toilet paper during the night because the room was never serviced. I had to call in the morning to request it. It’s clear why this hotel’s ratings are so low. The service was consistently poor, no accountability was taken, and my stay was extremely disappointing.

The room we stayed in was very nice and we loved the proximity to the airport. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy. We were put in a room on the same floor as the rest of our group, which we appreciated. We also liked the breakfast. One of the elevators was out of service, but there were plenty of others available. The parking is a little too tight in our opinion. There was an SUV parked across from us and we had to do a many-point turn to safely pull out of our spot.

Not Safe or Welcoming – Be Aware of Car Break-Ins We had a very disappointing experience during our stay. Our car was broken into on the one night we were there, along with two other vehicles. The staff was unhelpful and seemed indifferent, as if this is a common occurrence. While the hotel itself is average for the price, parking comes with significant risks. If you're parking overnight, be prepared not only to pay for parking but possibly for a new car window as well. I would not recommend staying here due to the lack of security and staff support.

I'll start with the good first. The suite room was super spacious and I've not seen a hotel in my past that gives their guest such space. The air-conditioning was perfect as it provided a comfort sleep. Here comes the bad stuff and there are many. Right from pulling over the car, the guests parking lot was too squeezy, the lots were compact size and leave very minimum room to backup without turning your wheels 10 times to ensure we dont hit the cars behind us. I was not told that guests are charged a $22 parking fee daily. Now regarding the stay, after a 7 hours drive when we reached hotel, during the check-in the staff who helped me abandoned me in the middle of it and started helping someone else without the courtesy to say "excuse me". Anyway, he said the room I ordered is not ready and has to be cleaned. If I dont want to wait I could get the 2 queen beds room versus the 1 king bed with sofa bed room that I ordered. As we were pretty badly soared up I went with the change, entered the room and got greeted with a very old smell reeking from the carpet. The 2 beds in the room were not queen but full. The amenities in the room were definitely 30 years old. Everything corner of the room was dirty with molds and stains. The carpet right outside our bathroom was leaking water and when we stepped on the carpet it was damp that immediately thrown my family off. We started to use slippers to enter the bathroom. The shower head was pathetic and took 30 mins versus 5 mins bath.

Overall the stay was good. Our room on the 10th floor facing the freeway was a little noisy from the freeway. It was loud enough to prevent me from sleeping, had to sleep on the sofa in the living room. But everything else were good and especially the breakfast.

Like that it was off a major highway, close to beaches and shopping. Did not like that we did not have AC (altho they comped our parking in lieu of this), overcrowded breakfast buffet area, did not get to use our free omelette tickets, was way way overcrowded so we ate off property.

It was right by the highway - really loud. The place was dirty. The sink, toilet and tub had cracks and chips. The AC could not be controlled and it was too hot. We asked the front desk and they confirmed that the AC controls did not work. Plus the front desk took over 10 minutes to answer the phone. The snacks in the afternoon were stale. The breakfast was not up to Embassy Suites standards at all.

The hotel was nicely designed and the lobby had a beautiful skylight, but it was definitely showing it's age. There was chipping and damage in the bathroom and around the room, and the place smelled really old. Breakfast was a big affair though, with a lot of food options, so that was a bonus.

We always stay at Embassy Suites for the breakfast and clean/ comfortable rooms. We were a little sad that our room was not in the best shape and bathroom was in desperate need of repairs and cleaning. We went to breakfast the next morning to find an extremely long line for hot breakfast and hardly no option's for cold/quick and easy breakfast. The Emassy suites in Santa Clarita/Valencia sets the bar high on their breakfast! Maybe Santa Ana can get some tips from them. This property seems to be in the worst condition out of all we have stayed in.. not terrible but not good either.(some non working elevators) Fine for one nights stay...but stay elsewhere for more than that!

I was trying to get a cup of coffee around 9:15 am. They mentioned the buffet was closed. I requested a cup of coffee and though they have it in the pot, I wasn’t allowed to take. Instead they said I can brew it in the room or goto the gas station next door. I can understand not allowing breakfast, but it was strange not allowing me to having a cup of coffee. Also, the staff member was rude in her responses.
