The stay was fine, the hot tub wasn't working when we went which was disappointing

Lots of parking, staff was friendly and there was a security guard keeping watch all night. The rooms are always clean and the air conditioning is great.

Clean quet property. Good staff as checking out. Easy parking.

I chose this hotel over another down the street for the spa but that was really dirty and the water was as cold as the pool. It really bummed me and my daughter out. The room wasn’t fully cleaned and some areas looked like they haven’t been touched in a while. There was so much noise from all the other people running down the hall or stairs, screaming down from the upstairs floor to their party in their car, loud music coming from cars or a stereo. I more than likely wouldn’t stay here again, and I gave this 2 stars because it worked for the night to be able to make a dr appointment early in the morning at CHOC.

The night time security guard put a 24hr notice on my car because I forgot to put the parking pass on my dash. However with the amount of sketchy individuals roaming the property, I am thankful that they did have an onsite security guard. I was impressed with the room and it's amenities. I will definitely stay there again.

No air conditioning and 2 pillows for 4 people they refused to give us more then locked the front desk at 7pm after we asked for pool towels just to find out they don’t actually let people in the pool or spa they don’t answer phone either

I tried to call the hotel ahead of time to ask about the pool and spa- it turns out, whoever answers their phone isn’t on-site, so can’t answer that question. I kept my fingers crossed and got to the inn- the spa was closed. My 9 y.o. Son went into the pool and found poop inside of it. Absolutely disgusting. No apology from staff, just like they expected the poop to be inside of the pool. Also, stained sheets on the bed. Not clean at all. Wouldn’t recommend

This motel was very rundown. Friendly staff, but a bit dirty and the parking lot was super packed and had a surly security guard. I wasn't a big fan of this one

They could have had some signs up to the pool or been more helpful to direct. The floor was not clean in the room. The coffee maker and hair dryer didn’t work.

Our hotel room was so dirty, the carpet smelled old, the floors were never mopped or anything. The bathroom was so moldy, the bed sheets were not changed….overall a very disappointing experience

I checked in to the dirty room with mold smell and live cockroaches . No hot water to take shower just warm water no hot. Human hair in the ice bucket and dirty outlets. No room make up ! Left at 10 am and came back to dirty room! Do not stay here this place is roach infested! This is not 2 star place this place needs to be shat down and closed

Found a roach in my room the morning of checkout, room was a bit rough, bedspread had what looked like burn holes in it. Fine for a last minute place to sleep but I wouldn't book again. Staff was pleasant so I'll give them that.

This hotel is conveniently close to a Mall but I won’t be staying here any longer as the room floor was dirty and I saw a roach. The bed sheets and towels were clean. There was no chair to sit in and the Rep who checked me in was not friendly at all.

We had the worst experience at this place, we had 3 nights booked and only stayed 1 because it was too much. We went into our room and it smelled like 10 people had just been smoking there even those its a no smoke facility. As soon as we set our things down we were greated by a cockroach on the key card we had just placed by the tv. We thought it was a one time thing since our room was so close to the street. Then we found 2 more in the bathroom and another on the sink in a matter of less than 10mins. It was really late and everything was booked so we gave it a chanse for the night. We could barely sleep the bed was uncomfortable and the smell of cigarettes was too strong. When i woke up the next morning there was a another cockroach on the nightstand staring, i was able to kill it and when I ran to the bathroom to throw it out we found 2 more. At that moment we found another hotel further from there and checked out. Once we got to that hotel we notices the clothes and blanket we used that night smelled like the hotel room. Thankfully we had decided to take back our lugage to the car that night to not risk a roach getting in it. The only good thing the place had was the two ladies that assisted us at the desk and the security guard other than that the place is not worth anyone waisting their money on, its a literal health hazard.

People tried to enter our room due to a front desk mix up, cockroaches in room, Chanel chanager didn’t work. Terrible experience.

There was an odor in the room. Lots of noise from the neighbors, like from 12am-3am… Felt a bit unsafe as well

The fence in the restroom did not work. The showerhead was old and nasty. There was no pressure coming out of the shower. I didn’t feel like I showered properly so I had to go to the gym to shower

Lots of places to eat around, AC was not working too well.

Everything was good except the mattress was too soft and noisy when turning.

Bath tub was leaking and shower head was broken the hand held one not the main one also the WiFi was not available and would not work for any device. Give it 2/10

Property was dated, but was a great value for the area. Wish the water was hotter, but I was not disappointed in the stay.

Building was pretty old. Wi-fi didn’t work in my area of the property. Looked like some sketchy drug deals going down around the outskirts. It was cheap and served its purpose but not sure I would stay there again.

Was ok. Basic room, TV good size. Mini Refrig was good. Shower pressure not great but adequate. Tub / shower really needs grab bars, even for non-handicapped. Parking and security very good.

No hot water, gross stain on bedspread.

Generic hotel. I was a little surprised by the $100 deposit at check in. I was not able to connect to their WIFI at all which was very disappointing.

After over 20 hours of driving we arrived to the hotel much earlier than check in time. The front desk lady allowed me to check in very early and have me the ground floor room I asked for. She was amazing! Will stay here again.

The staff was helpful and prompt when we needed things. It is an older hotel but the staff seems to take good care of it and want to be friendly and attentive. There is restaurants within walking distance and things to do nearby. Near the south and north entrance to I-5 which made it a quick trip to Disneyland. There was a security guard that walked the property which made it feel safe. Worth the money.

Promised a kitchenette and was a lie, costed us a 1 day charge for the inconvenience, will never go here ever again. Management wouldn't do anything at all to help us....

Fast check in and friendly service

When we checked in they gave us a room that was already occupied. The next room they gave us was ok, but there were dirty towels with something that looked like blood and other debris on them. We had 3 people in the room and there were only 2 towels. When we asked for more that made it a point that we had to bring them to the front desk when we check out. We also asked for extra pillows and it was an issue, we were told that they dont usually give out extra pillows. When we went to the desk to ask for extra pillows the lady at the desk was to busy doing someones hair to help us. I dont normally write reviews but we will never stay at a red roof inn again.

I liked the Polly's Pie restaurant next door and Mainplace Mall nearby. Unfortunately, my rental car was hit by drunk driver in parking lot. My rental car was parked. Headache. Lobby staff not very helpful. I won't stay there again

Towel rack falling, toilet paper holder falling off, both broken. Key card inactivated every single day Bad cleaning, forgot coffee replacements, not enough towels, dirty floor, and a sock under the bed from previous guest, broken ice machine, laundry mostly inaccessible, no parking near my room by late afternoon, unfriendly staff. Two star hotel that should be .25 star. Yuck

for the price this was a good experience. The room was big with a sizable bathroom. Easy access from the highway. There is a nice place for getting a breakfast on site, though not part of the hotel. The interior is a bit worn down and could do with an upgrade. The lock to the main entrance did not work so anyone could easily get into the building. The internet was down during my stay but they worked on getting it fixed. It is located withing walking distance to a big mall, cinema, and several restaurants. It was definitely worth the price.

Room was ok, the carpet was pretty dirty, maid service was pretty good, location was great.

The location is great as it's w/in a safe & walkable commercial area.Need some minor renovation but overall for the one night stay their price is reasonable.

I liked everything about the property. It was spacious. I had a pool. It was close to the freeway close to the shopping mall the jam, restaurants, coffee shops very nice and not too expensive. I had this laundry soda, snack machine nice staff not too pricey.

I enjoyed my stay at the Red Roof in Santa Ana. A little more breakfast would’ve been nice. Only coffee and half the time it was cold. Thanks again!

Pretty good stay for the price and across to a great restaurant walking distance. Felt safe with secirity guard walking around and we got to see him walk the premises. Handicapped parking nice. Front desk professional and had coffee all day free.
