Stayed 2 nights

We arrived on a Weds for 2 nights in a waterfront room w/balcony & the room wasn’t ready until 5pm! The room was strange & old-HUGE size w/almost no furniture- no dresser, desk, sofa, lounge chair or floor lamp & only 1 chair at a table & 1 nightstand. Tiny closet & poor shower head in the bathroom Not a good value-valet parking is $48 per night and there is free parking right on the street next to the lobby. Resort fee is $35 & all we used were the pool & jacuzzi for 2 hours. The location isn’t near any restaurants, shops, or coffee places except for the one in the hotel and there’s lots of construction nearby. Staff was very friendly, helpful & tried to respond to our issues by removing some of the fees. The pool was small but a perfect warm temperature. Excellent jacuzzi, plenty of lounge chairs, & cute bar area by pool. We live in the LA area & have visited SB dozens of times but I don’t think we’ll be returning to this hotel.

This was more of a motel experience at hotel prices than we expected - the pictures online don't make that clear. Unless you have a room in the building where the pool and lobby are, you need to trudge through a parking lot to get to your room. The room itself didn't feel 4-star. The hem of the draperies was ripped and hanging on the ground. The overall decor, and especially the bathroom, were a hodgepodge mixture of decorating styles and eras, all of which felt like they could use a refresh. The pool area had covered chaise lounges, which looked appealing from afar, but at closer range, the cushions had so many stains on them that I didn't want to sit on them. The location is excellent, I will give it that, but for what it ended up being in reality, I will look for other options in the future.

Not as nice as I expected. The smell as the hotel was not great. The room was less than ideal. For a room that should accommodate 4 people, there was no where to hang bath towels. The shower curtain was not waterproof and did not come down long enough to keep water inside the tub so the entire bathroom floor was always soaked. Shower had no water pressure. The bottom sheets on the beds were not large enough to tuck in so you found yourself with just a mattress pad and no bottom sheet by morning. The temperature in the room was locked so the room was hot and uncomfortable overnight. Overall, we stayed at this hotel for the location but will not look to stay here again nor recommend this hotel to others.
