The on-site staffing appeared to be one person per day for everything. They could not find my reservation in the computer system without rebooting it. I had added a day, and they could not check me in for the other days until the day of the reservation. I was then locked out of my room. I was there for 4 nights, and there was no hot water at any time, although I did get lukewarm water one morning. The parking lot lights did not work, and so little security for cars or walkers. The hotel was very worn and tired; the staff did not appear to care, doing the minimum possible. There did not appear to be a manager on site. Texting with an AI bot seemed to be the only method of communication. The morning staff person flat out refused to provide a reciept on checkout, telling me to "go get it from the website". As for the room, the carpet was worn to the bare floor in places, and when I opened the door, it smelled like someone had emptied an entire can of Febreeze into the room. At least the window opened, so I was able to get it aired out. There was no maid service for my room the entire time I was there.

Generally eveything was okay. The room carpet had a hole in it. The bed was comforatable but had very spread and minimal blanket. I travel a lot and most hotel breakfast leave a lot to be desiered and this one was sub par. The usual waffles, only brown bread and muffins, plus over cooked sausage patties but no eggs of any kind. Personally I wish hotels would just drop breakfasts.

The exterior looks nice. There is one elevator for the entire place and it's insanely slow. The rooms are nothing special, just dated and average. However, ours smelled AWFUL when we opened the door. We couldn't stand it, so we sprayed air freshener and when I saw the bill after we checked out, I saw a $500 "smoking fee". Assuming the air freshener set it off since we didn't smoke in the room? The hotel was unconcerned about the terrible smell in the room or the charge. They said they couldn't do anything about it, basically "That's a you problem", and that I'd have to dispute it with my bank if I didn't want to pay it. Nice. There was no fan in the bathroom. Of the 6 floors, there was only one with a working ice machine, which was extra fun because of the super slow elevator. You must request maid service, or you'll never get clean towels or an empty trash can. They don't tell you that though, and then it was a big deal to get more towels. There were several occasions when we were approached by tweakers asking for handouts when we were outside the hotel, as well. Would definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone.
