Pool area look nice but it was closed since it’s outdoor. Breakfast was pretty good with a different main meal every day. They do run out as it gets close to closing time (9:00 & 9:30 weekends). I couldn’t get the best entrée of the four days that we were there on our second day because they were out. It was an English Muffin with sausage and Swiss cheese! Early bird gets the worm! As far as the hotel, it was very pleasant and they were full pretty much every night so sometimes if you get in late, you have to park around back. The highway right next to the hotel is quite noisy and I did wake up a few times with loud motorcycles, etc. Is there no law against loud motors? Staff was very pleasant.

When we arrived there was urine in the toilet and toilet seat was up. A trash can was used to prop the bathroom door open and towels were not straight. We were given a new room.

The restroom walls and floor were dirty. The restroom sink smelled of sewage and wouldnt drain properly. Restroom faucet was loose. Many outlets and ac panel were not mounted straight which gives the impression that the rooms were thrown together without attention to detail.

One night stay. The hotel is very new and in excellent condition. The mini fridge actually was cold, I think a first for any hotel I have stayed. It was very clean.

Overall, it was an average hotel for the value. Breakfast was good and convenient. Our only complaint is that the room smelled a bit musty. Enough that the smell transfered to our clean clothes in our luggage. Staff were always polite and professional.

I would have given an overall higher rating, however our room was situated on the first floor facing the entrance and despite the blackout curtains, the large amount of light streaming around the curtains into the room kept me, a light sleeper awake. Cars arriving also shine directly into the room. There are lights to brighten the hotel facade at night but unfortunately they’re located directly outside the window. Also the doors to the rooms slamming shut (they close with loud slam automatically after entering or leaving) woke me several times in the night. However on a positive note, the room was clean and tidy, the shower was very nice and there were plenty of outlets to charge my phone and iPad. The staff were very friendly and courteous. I would stay here again, but would next time request a room away from the front entrance.

We had a good stay except for one morning when the complimentary breakfast did ran out at 8:30 before end time of 9am and nothing was reloaded onto the bins and eggs. Does are extremely loud when closing so you can hear everyone’s doors around you and above you closing and that includes the heavy bathroom door which you can’t get to stay open if you would like it to. Also there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom so it is extremely hot and steamy after a shower and we noticed the ceiling paint in our bathroom was bubbling prob due to this. Trash cans are very small and only 2.

I judge hotels on two things… Their beds and their showers. The beds are quite comfortable… Although still a little bit firm, but some people might like that the showers were amazing! Awesome water, pressure and long lasting hot water. The room was very cute and very clean. There was a humongous TV in front of the bed.

All was really good - excellent breakfast !! Windows open for oxygen ! The only odd thing is their new energy saving AC system which makes it hard to set temperature and an ongoing fan. Without the fan, there was a lot of traffic noise.

Clean and well maintained. Room 317 was modernized with a largr bathroom. The step in shower was really nice. Bed was comfortable. There were 2 minor issues: 1) room faced Wadsworth Blvd so you could hear cars/motorcycles racing by occasionally through out the night. 2) the air conditioner had a small but annoying rattle.

The staff was friendly and professional. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was clean throughout. However, the room layout left a lot to be desired. There was virtually nowhere to unpack our clothes, and we has only two small carry-ons. There was one very small dresser with drawers so low profile they were useless. There were no suitcase stands in the room. The best storage was under the bathroom sink, but that was not practical.

The overall hotel and room were very nice, clean, modern and appealing. They were very busy, so the parking was somewhat limited. The breakfast had good options. Our main issue was that the A/C in our room did not really work. It was over 90 degrees outside and our room felt hot and stuffy. We put it as low as it would go and had it constantly running, but it was blowing luke-warm air and never cooled down to a comfortable temperature. It was rather unpleasant sleeping in such a hot room and ruined the experience. Another small annoyance was the big heavy bathroom door that would not stay open and slammed behind you whenever you went in/out. The bathroom also did not have a fan.

My son forgot his very expensive Apple headphones in the room when we checked out and left the hotel. On the way to Houston he realized it and called the hotel. The receptionist was of no help. She said tomorrow when the new shift arrives, someone will look in the lost and found room. The same evening my son tracked his headphones and found out they were taken to the apartment near the hotel. The next morning he provided the address to the receptionists where the headphones were tracked. Again the receptionist was of no help and ask to call the manager after 3 pm. My son managed to get a hold with the manager, provided the explanation and the address where he was able to track his headphones last time. The manager promised to investigate and ask the cleaning stuff and call back. He also asked to fill out the on-line police report. The manager NEVER called back. The police report was rejected because the police did not want to investigate it. Watch for your stuff in this hotel. This happened to us for the first time ever. If you accidentally forget something in this hotel, the cleaning stuff will steal it. Be careful. We are very upset about the attitude of the staff and especially the manager.

Check in was at 3. We arrived at 4:45. The lady at the desk told us none of the king rooms were clean yet and she’d call us when they were. At 5:30, I went back to the desk and a different host was there. She said she had just come in and asked the previous front desk person if anyone was waiting. The previous lady said no one was waiting. We ended up switching to a double queen room because the new person couldn’t get in touch with the housekeeping staff to double check a king room. I’ve never experienced this before.

When I asked for water at the check-out counter, the staff member dismissively pointed toward the gym, even though there was a water jar sitting right in front of him. He flat-out said he didn’t want to refill it. There was no one else waiting behind my family, so it’s not like he was busy. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable and shows zero respect for guests.

The GM Shawn and Kiera were so kind. I arrived from a long travel with a party of 5— including 3 year old and 3 month old. Once we got into the room, there was only 1 bed. They were quick to find a solution and accommodate us with a 2 queen bed room. It was clear to me that they were busy and answering a lot of requests from other guests, however, they made sure I was taken care of quickly so that we could relax upon our arrival. Thank you for making such a quick change to our room and being so friendly. I will be back in town frequently and will be sure to stay at this hotel again.

Housekeeping was not on a daily schedule. We stayed 3 nights and expected at least 1 visit to clean the room. It came at 4:30 on our second day after we had just returned from a long day hiking. We declined service at that time. They didn't come the next day either. On the positive side, the breakfast provided each morning was nice. The staff working the front desk and breakfast were very friendly.

Stayed here in a room that I had booked on Expedia and prepaid. Hotel charged my credit card for the night, and has not refunded it. When I call, they would tell me that they are working on it and will call me back. However, no one is calling me back… I have to keep calling. Last time they just put me through to the manager’s voicemail. It has been over two weeks since the mistake. Other than that, great breakfast and we were comfy, but… horrible lack of response to this issue.

hotel is large with open areas- close to red rocks. Only negative was they needed more help with breakfast. Hotel booked out and went through food quickly - staff tried their best but they needed more help. Put more coffee pots out!
