There is no parking. You have to use their garage and they charge you daily and you have to use a valet every time you want your car or to drop it off. The hotel is right in town. Close to everything if that’s your thing. Very clean and the staff were all nice.

All paid parking in their garage for $15 per day. Had to pay a valet every time we needed our car and returned. There is no street parking at all. This place is in the middle of town. Very busy all around. Place was clean and the staff were very nice and helpful.

Bar closed for renovations. Nearest elevator not working. None of 4 digital keys opened room. Had to obtain old fashioned key. Rooms are quite small. Most staff were extremely polite and helpful. Location is excellent.

Great location and very helpful and quick to respond staff. Since it costs to street park the valet fee of $20 is nothing. Great happy hour deals and food in general is reasonable but not outstanding. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Very nice place to stay with old school charm.

We really enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. Valet parking was $20 a night. Not having to deal with parking for the entire trip was really nice because everything was walkable and we took the free shuttle to do the incline. The staff were kind and thoughtful, the room was comfortable, and the happy hour deals at the bar were a plus!

Manitou Springs is definitely a tourist town. The Cliff House definitely has historic charm. The room just felt and looked dirty. The carpeting is old and stained. The fabric on the chair in the room was so soiled, I’m not sure I’d sit on it. The bathroom was adequate and the bed was fine. There are also heaving fabric drapes and although they fit the charm - I’m certain we’re full of dust and grime.

Beautiful historic hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable bed and a great view. Staff was friendly and always helpful. We will definitely be back.

Old in heritage and decor. Was welcomed with very friendly staff, instant upgrade. At first glance very nice but the more you look around this place needs a deep cleaning and upgrade in decor. Old shower curtain, stained lamp shades, built up dust behind the bed and main carpets in the halls are stained with dirt. If you can look past that the stay was enjoyable.

An otherwise wonderful stay, EXCEPT spoiled by ... We were put into room 409. After dinner and returning to our room, there was a bad smell, but nothing too strong. Went to bed. At 10pm, woke up and the smell was TERRIBLE. It seemed to be coming from the bath, but there were no obvious sources. I turned on the fan and shut the bathroom door, and a while later, the odor was gone. It was definitely a sewer odor - the sort one might expect from a dried out p-trap, though that wasn't the case here as I tried running some water in both the sink and tub just in case. It turns out that the hotel KNOWS about this problem, and has attempted to locate and resolve it before without success. So why are they still booking guests into this room knowing there's the potential for a major stink? It even gets out into the hall where we note they leave the window open at the end in an attempt to mitigate it a bit for the other guests.

The room was simply filthy. The carpet was very dirty and old. There were 2 chairs that had stains that were so bad we had to put towels on them to sit. Would never stay there again. Sad to say but I was wishing my vacation away just to be out of there.

It is a cute place with lots of history. However, if you book a room with a spa tub and/or fireplace (and pay more), there is a good chance they won’t work. The staff was not concerned and, clearly, had no intention of trying to rectify the issues. The town is great.

When my husband and I arrived, we were told we were getting upgraded to the Buffalo Bill celebrity suite. We were happy about that, and it was nicely decorated. However, we were not able to shower or use the jetted tub because the water temperature kept fluctuating between hot and cold. Mostly cold. That was disappointing because the jetted tub was one of my main draws. We've stayed in regular room there before and didn't have that problem with the water temperature.

Charming, large room with a beautiful, grand bay window. Best room ive ever stayed in and a great value! The fireplace, large tub with jets, & a heated toilet seat (nicer than i thought one would be)... the most romantic room ive ever been in. Some of the tiles were cracked in the bathroom & caulked (a thing or two like that here & there)... kinda lends it more charm. Seems to be an older building. Ive never been in a four diamond hotel before... if a neighboring hotel had the wine cellar & sommelier on staff to earn the fifth diamond - id stay here instead. Im loving this hotel!

great location - walk right across to main street in Manitou. Housekeeping in room everyday, turn down service with chocolates included, newspaper in the morning; nice touches. They do a nice job maintaining a vintage property. Rooms are nice with fireplaces and really nice large bathrooms with double sinks, whirlpool tub and powerful showerheads. We stayed 6 nights and I would stay there again.

This place lives up to the hype in customer service. I forgot my dress shirt for a very important date with my girlfriend and I asked the front desk where I could find a shirt. The front desk employee said he could probably find a shirt that I could borrow for the night…which he did. He saved not only the date but also some cash so didn’t have to buy and new shirt. Truly above and beyond top notch service. I shall be back!!

We’ve stayed here before and had excellent service but this time it felt like it was lacking. It was zero degrees out, we were staying for two nights and the TV didn’t work. Normally you can walk around town but with it being freezing outside we liked the option of watching a movie in our room. We went to the front desk for help, no one followed up so had to call twice after to again follow up and hours later were told we could change rooms (after we had unpacked and had moved into our room). Since we had No tv the entire first day we were there and half the following day, and had to repack and change rooms, we thought we might be offered a credit of sorts as a customer service for the inconvenience but instead my husband had to ask. We were told we were getting a nicer room, which we literally had a handful of hours to enjoy as we were checking out in the morning. Finally, the desk clerk said she’d check with the manager. The mgr gave us 2 breakfast credits, but my main complaint is that my husband had to ask, instead of being offered and how long it took to get back to us regarding the issue.

Second time staying here and everything is always top notch, from the front desk staff to the valets to the restaurant employees. All professional and provide excellent customer service, something that we are beginning to see less of these days. This place also has a great history. Highly recommend!

Our stay for two nights was excellent!! From our room to having three delicious meals in the dining room and on the veranda. Geoffrey did a marvelous job! Valet service was excellent also, especially having Matthew! Everyone was very friendly, polite and kind!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

Everything is rated average.Front desk clerk was rude to us on checkin. Bed average and pillows poor. Tv operation required tro remotes and tv too large for cabinet making it about two thirds screen viewing.Tub shower dangerous stepping into and fixtures difficult to use.Old hotel losing its charm.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Cliff House. It is a lovely property with valet parking in a very busy area. It is conveniently located to downtown, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants.

Lovely hotel with excellent staff and great chef. Easy stroll to shopping, cafes, ice cream. Less than 1 mile to Pikes Peak Cog railway…easy walk, especially on the way back! Close to Garden of the Gods as well. We enjoyed our first 2 nights so much that we changed our plans and stayed 2 more nights.

The property has a great location and is extremely walkable, right in the middle of town, but off the main drag, and very close to everything. It has easy and reasonably priced valet parking which is a plus in the touristy town where parking is sometimes a bit challenging. The hotel is comfortable with a nice staff. I would stay there again without hesitation.

The Cliff House is a beautiful historic hotel whose staff goes out of their way to provide a care free enjoyable experience. They were all very accommodating and friendly and we recommend them highly for a nice week or weekend in the Manitou Springs area. Their morning buffet was hearty and tasty and their dinners were absolutely fabulous.

The suite was excellent and the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. The only negative thing was the dinner. My girlfriend and I had the “special “ a prime rib. Both were very fatty, tough and stringy. The absolute worst I have had in the past 60 years! I regret having ordered them. The rest of the meal was delicious.
