Spacious, clean room with water view! Anthony, the bellboy was awesome. He lifted our bags and shuttled us to and fro to The Kate in good time for our concert eve! The spa treatment was perfect. We loved taking a dip in the heated outdoor pool the next day!

Rooms were large and spacious but quite dark. The Choo Choo lounge and the outside bar were very pleasant. The onsite dining restaurant was disappointing, food was below expectations and did not live up to their rating. Staff were all very pleasant. Parking was a difficult but it is high season.

The room was charming! Nice seating area with a tv and the bed was in a little alcove. Bedding was nice and comfortable. Mattress was comfy. Little balcony was perfect for a little sit in the sun in the morning. The hotel restaurant had some terrific salted caramel gelato. Only downfall was that the maid had left a dirty washcloth from previous guest hanging in the shower. GROSS.

My husband used the spa and said it was excellent. The housekeeping staff was generally good - -forgot some tasks a couple of times. Front of the house staff excellent. Special shoutout to Jack!! Very surprised that there was no inroom safe. Bathroom needs a remodel -needs taller counters…as well as a walk-in shower. Parking can be challenging at times but manageable.

Everything about this property is always wonderful. Had a little trouble with the heating/ac unit but they corrected it immediately. Its self contained, great spa on site, great restaurant on site, and bar/lounge as well. Fabulous views, quiet, great neighborhood. The rooms are large, beautifully appointed, quiet and dark at night with great window treatments. Five star in every way.

Our room was nice (waterfront) but it was warm, even with the air conditioning on. The bed wasn't as comfortable as we'd hoped and the menu at Fresh Salt left us looking off site for dinner on Saturday night (would recommend Penny Lane Pub and Marsina's for lunch)

We had an issue at check in. We booked the delux room and the hotel said they were sold out of those rooms and that they have issues with Expedia bookings frequently. We were given a room across from housekeeping that was noisy and extremely small with only a skylight window. The overall resort is beautiful and they invited us back for 1 night in the delux room which helped the experience.

The property is generally very pretty and nicely situated on the marina. I have nothing positive to add to that. Unfortunately, our room overlooked the gorgeous water, which is also where the hotel's patio is located. The patio closed at 10PM, but they left the pounding music on until dawn. We got ZERO sleep because of the thumping beat. We complained to the front desk at checkout about the noise and he told us it was supposed to be turned off after closing, but they must have "forgotten." For a hotel of this caliber, this is unacceptable. We were told "so very sorry." That was it. We will not stay there again. Terrible customer service.

We had a wonderful stay at Saybrook Point. The staff could not have been warmer or more welcoming. They quickly responded to and addressed a heating issue in the first room we were in and upgraded us to a beautiful room where the heating worked great. We enjoyed the steam room and dry sauna. The hot tub could have been hotter. Gerard was a standout team member. He was friendly and super helpful and made us great fires in our room every night. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed time in the Choo Choo lounge. We’ll be back!

The staff from top to bottom was the best ever-helpful, courteous, and professional. The pools, pool area and chairs , showers at pool. etc. were great and clean. No dirty towels around! The view of the harbor and the dining options were memorable, and the food and beverage servers were likewise special, and the food wonderful and fresh. Just the best place. Thank you!!

Saybrook Point is lovely and super easy to find. The indoor pool and spa and sauna/steam room are amazing. The property is very clean. Our double, with a view of the lighthouse, was huge. Staff are amazing and very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! P.S. Walking over the Fenwick Causeway is great and just steps from the property.

Excellent property at Saybrook Point. The staff were all kind and helpful, and the facilities were high quality. The restaurant, Fresh Salt, was excellent for breakfast with a nice variety of options (we did not eat other meals there). There was not a whole lot directly around the hotel, but a little miniature golf place was just across the parking lot. Otherwise, it is basically a nice hotel at the marina. We stayed there while visiting family in Madison, about 15 miles west, and the town of Old Saybrook had enough amenities to support our needs while there. Small enough to be charming, yet enough support to meet a variety of needs. (The town does have the smallest Walmart I have ever seen.)

Our recent stay at Saybrook Point Inn was lovely, and we especially enjoyed our engagement anniversary dinner at Fresh Salt. The only area for improvement was the wedding reception on Friday night. The music and vibrations from the ballroom kept us awake until 11 pm, which is past Old Saybrook's 10 pm noise ordinance.

Gorgeous Inn. Excellent experience overall. Need less puffy pillows on beds…bring your own! All 6 adults in our party were uncomfortable with pillows and slept poorly. Celebrating my husband’s 70th and I checked in earlier with staff to be sure they had the cake (as requested I do) and asked if we could have a particular table (or have a choice). We had 6 adults and one high chair. We were told they only had one table that would accommodate our “large” group. The table we were given was just okay…meanwhile there were groups our size and larger being accommodated at other tables. I was really disappointed about that. One final note…it would be nice to have different menus at the bar vs restaurant. Also if you’re staying out of season and plan to use the indoor pool, the room is extremely hot and humid and barely tolerable due to the chemicals. Otherwise staff was delightful, rooms and common areas beautiful!

It’s a nice hotel on the marina, the room was spacious and clean, and the outdoor pool was nice however it was dirty both in the afternoon and in the morning. There were clumps of hair floating around. Our room looked over the parking lot and the car alarms were annoying. The room also shook a few times as if in a earthquake so there’s something structurally wrong. It’s not soundproof either. Nice hotel in a nice location but way overpriced. For what we paid I expected luxury but this was not that. The restaurant staff was lovely and the food was good, expensive but good.

Room was not made up until 2:00 pm. No box of tissues in room. Air conditioning did not work properly. Staff didn’t tell us you needed a sticker to go to the town beach. Very limited restaurant choices. Poor mattress. One star is all I would give this overpriced hotel.
