I have never been to such a disgusting hotel. It was filthy and the rooms have not been updated ever. They have demolished the walls and baseboards and are still renting rooms! They rented us a room directly below one they were jackhammering and it was unbearable. My 80 year old mother who had travelled for a funeral was upset the entire time but moving her was such a trying thing that we stuck it out. It was like a crackhouse but they charged hundreds of dollars a night. The cafe downstairs cost us $65 for a simple breakfast, yet the chairs were so filthy we didn’t want to sit. I’m hoping there is a link to post a video of the jackhammering.

This hotel needs serious updating. It’s very tired, cracks, and old everything old. Hours of the Bar are very limited, as is the food. Person at check in was half asleep at 3:00 pm. Also only one elevator was working. Price and location is good for our needs.

One elevator was broken and there is no internal access to the stairs from the lobby, so it was very inconvenient to get to our room, the wait was 15 mins for an elevator. The room smelled like mold and there was a strong draft coming in through the window making the room super cold. I was charged a bunch of restaurant charges, when I asked they said oh someone was using your room number, we fixed it. It’s concerning that just anyone can put your room number down!

After a long drive and day we were anxious to get into our room and relax. Unfortunately this did not happen. Our room smelled like smoke, everyone in our family immediately started to get a headache from the smell. Then we found out or toilet was broken. They could not fix it and we would have to switch rooms. After getting all of our stuff unpacked we were told we would have to switch rooms. Very inconvenient after a long day. When we got to the new room which was just down the hall from a family with small children running up and down the halls all night long. The beds were horrible and one of the feet on the bed was broken so we have to sleep at the other end of the bed, where feet normally go.

I had a junior suite. Room had strange layout, lighting was a harsh white, but even with all lights on, the room was very dark. Carpet was dirty and countertops were not clean either. Wall/ceiling behind the headboard were stained by splat marks from...male bodily fluids. Toilet seat was very loose and kept shifting around, specks of dried urine when seat was lifted. Clearly not cleaned since last guest. Breakfast area branded by Starbucks was also dirty, and french toast was hard and barely warm, the strawberries were still frozen all the way through.

We came here to visit our daughter at the university of New Haven. There were cheaper options a little closer but we chose this hotel because of the name. Everything was great, but I believe in being honest. As soon as we walked into the room, you could see the stains on the wall in front of the desk. When I put the suitcase on the bed, I could see stain on the bed spread. Other than that everything was great. I have to to admit I was Al little disappointed.

Please DONT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!! They canceled my trip and kept my money. I flew in from Miami and had my 3 year old child with me and they told me my room was canceled. I spoke to two managers and they did nothing but asked for money to book a room?! It was freezing cold outside and Expedia couldn’t help

I have enjoyed previous stays at various Marriot hotels but this experience was not pleasant. My wife and I stayed for one night just for some alone time. The morning of check out about 9:30-45 while my wife and I were being intimate someone from housekeeping opened our room door unannounced. They slipped in and out quickly. We notified the front desk and asked to speak to management. We were told no managers were on duty and we’d be contacted later that day. While we were preparing to leave the housekeeper came back twice. The first time she knocked and after we answered she left. The second time she knocked and started entering the room until my wife stood in the doorway and scolded her for continually interrupting us. My wife reminded her that check out was at twelve and it wasn’t that time yet. All this said we had to constantly call the hotel because no one contacted us. My wife finally spoke to someone after two weeks of our stay. We are very disappointed with this particular hotel.

It was amazing. The location is ideal, right off route 8, plenty of restaurants stores, anything you need is right there on there on Bridgeport Ave.The room was clean well maintained. Service management was very nice and helpful

I stayed for one night as I had an event to attend. I really love everything about this hotel from check-in to check-out. The only thing that I would suggest is to serve complimentary breakfast as this hotel doesn't offer it.

upon check in one of the desk clerks was attempting to honor a request promised over the phone to an elderly relative. She was reprimanded by another. It was awkward to say the least. The bartenders were great. Shout out to Amber!! Starbucks should be opened later than 10am.

Amazing hotel very clean and quiet. Staff very nice my kids and i loved it. Swimming pool, workout facilities and dinning. This place had it all! Beautiful area as well.
