the room was large and clean, carpet was dated and worn. it was nice and quiet, was not disturbed by other guests. breakfast area was clean and well taken care of, and the food was great. the only issue I had was parking. every night semi trucks and trucks and trailers took up most of the parking, so finding an open spot was difficult every night.

Very nice room. Overall excellent hotel. However, I selected this hotel in part because it had a pool. It was not mentioned in the description that the pool was undergoing service and not usable. Very disappointing as I specifically planned to swim.

I always like to use a hotel's gym. This seat on the weight bench was completely unattached to the bench and appeared to have been that way for some time. Unless you want to be on a bike or a treadmill in this minimal gym, free weights are the only other worthwhile option and this unsafe condition rendered the gym useless to me. One of the 30 lb dumbbells was also missing- there was only one and should have been two.

The front desk staff was lovely. At check-in I dropped my glasses and didn't notice. I received a phone call moments after arriving in my room letting me know. The restaurant next door had great food and service. The gym was the best I've seen in an Express hotel in a long time and was open 24 hours which was perfect for our late arrival. For the price, I was very pleased with the service.

Surprisingly nice hotel! Clean and pleasant with a full breakfast selection. Good parking, close to stores a d in what felt like a safe area! Bonus having a great BBQ place and ice cream just next door!

This was my second time staying at this hotel. The first time my room was clean and nice. It was on the second floor. This time I was given a first floor room and it wasn’t as clean. There bedding appeared stained and the bathroom was not as clean as before. I was a little disappointed as I hoped to make this my go to when visiting my daughter.

The room was large, very-clean, and up-to-date and quiet. The bed was totally comfortable. The TV was on the small side. The bathroom was also large, very clean, and well-lit. The breakfast was a step up from most free breakfasts: featured two different kinds of omelettes, sausage links and breakfast patties, yoghurts, cereal, pancakes, good coffee, and better than average orange juice among other things. Most free breakfasts are meh - this is a cut above.

upon arrival, we noted that the property looked rundown & shabby, particularly the carpeting. on this same trip, we stayed in 2 other holiday inn expresses, which confirmed the perception that this property needed to be updated. we did not realize that housekeeping came only when requested. on friday night, we requested housekeeping. we returned to the room saturday evening, and realized that the room had not been cleaned. we repeated our front desk visit saturday p.m, and requested more emphatically. the pleasant woman at the front desk showed us where she had noted the first request and write the 2nd in sharpie. when we returned to our room once again on sunday, the room had still not been cleaned. i told the front desk that we needed trash bags for the overflowing trashcans and the used linens, as well as fresh linens, which were provided. the front desk person said she was writing up an extensive note about our complaints. when we checked out mon. a.m., i reminded the front desk person about our extreme dissatisfaction, and her reply was that the manager had not yet come in. the stay was an unpleasant experience all round, the irony being that this motel had been recommended since the other in the area had "run down."

I left a tote bag full of medications and supplements. I got a call from Wendy at the front desk to inform me. She offered to bring the bag to UPS and at my request overnight it. She called and texted several times to check on the status. She went above and beyond. Thank you Wendy!

Property needs a little updating....Breakfast was very limited.. no fresh fruit but lots of sweet offerings. Person in breakfast area was not the most friendly. Young man that checked me in was Amazing!!!! Very friendly and welcoming!!! as was the woman that checked me out. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would book again.

Upon arrival there was a group of foreign gentlemen checking in. The front desk attendant was very impatient with them while they sorted thru their two reservations. My check in was fine. Room and hallway smelled of musty and like a dirty diaper. Smoking was allowed directly outside of front entrance with an automatic door so lobby often smelled of smoke. Area around hotel had lots of meal options, grocery shopping, etc.

My stay was very good. The only problem I had was that the keys for the door were not working. The front office person had to help on the first day. The problem continued for another day and one key was replaced. However, it did not work. It was one of the guys who worked there who got me 2 new keys which finally worked. The green light just did not go on for the first set of keys. It was frustrating.that I had to continually ask for help each time I went out and came back

We stay here often as we travel to Maine. It’s a good stopover to break up a long drive. Lots of dining options nearby, Reins Deli is our favorite. Shopping center across the street to pick up whatever we forgot to pack. Room is clean and comfortable! Bathroom spotless. Just we need so we come about 4 times a year!

We stayed here as a quick overnight on the way from NJ to Maine. It was easy to access off the highway. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite a nice spread! We had a little wait at check-in due to the party ahead of us requiring multiple rooms and requesting to be adjoining but otherwise our stay was smooth.
