Everything was good, except the fitness center was closed, with no prior notification and no options given

Our stay was fine. However, the parking situation was terrible. It is not what “valet” is. No instructions how their valet-only parking works, having to honk our horn waiting for help each time entering, needing to walk through parking garage with all of our things again waiting for help and feeling obligated to tip after terrible and confusing service.

The property was very well maintained. The staff was very professional. The only thing I did not agree with was the parking. The underground parking was very tight and expensive, but unfortunately comparable with the other rates in the area it was adequate.

The hotel is close to Navy Yard amenities. While the room was nice, I prefer a walk-in shower to a tub/shower combo. Also, the nail salon on the ground level is overly scented and permeates the Lobby area, which meant my asthmatic wife had to race through from door to elevators, with each passing.

I love that the hotel was within walking distance to Nationals Stadium. We were in town for the Savannah Bananas game and I wanted something close. Nice area with restaurants and bars. I felt safe walking back late at night to the hotel as well. Parking is a little iffy. Spots are narrow and the garage is tight.

There is no EV charger.

The hotel has recently been completely renovated, so everything was stylish and new. The location is perfect, with an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops, the Metro, and the Anacostia River, within easy walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our only complaint is that neither the pool nor the gym were available, both of which were under construction. We found out about the pool shortly before our arrival, but did not find out about the gym until check in. We were told that we could use the gym at a nearby Residence Inn, but did not feel that was a satisfactory or viable option. Other than this, we loved everything about this hotel.

The property was average. The hotel receptionist was pleasant, the room was clean, but the hotel was slightly dated and the lobby was awkward with its connection to the parking garage and rooms. My biggest annoyance with this hotel is the valet parking. It’s completely unnecessary. We drove our car from the hotel entrance, around the block to the garage, past rows of cars only then to have someone take our car. Charge me a parking fee but don’t call that valet. If I am taking my car that far, I’d prefer to park it rather than give someone access to my vehicle.

Nice, clean property. Convenient to Metro & Nationals Ball Park. Plenty of restaurants/bar within walking distance. The “City view” rooms aren’t worth the extra cost. Onsite (hotel) parking is expensive ($50/day). TV remote is far from “user friendly."

There was no room in the garage .I was sent 2 blocks away. I arrived at 6.15pm and left by 10.30 am the next day. I paid $72. Shameful.

Very clean, updated hotel with great, kind staff!

Pool and gym not available(renovations). Found a giant cockroach in our room the first night and they switched our room. Decided to go to another hotel after 2 days of our 6 day vacation. Friendly service, but overpriced bar/food.

Overall very nice. Mentioned more than once to front desk that the hall needed to be vacuumed. Wasn’t done in the 3 nights we were there. Good location in Navy Yard with easy walk to restaurants.

The bathroom was very clean!

Rooms not thoroughly cleaned properly. Very dusty and dirty. Unacceptable for the price.

My daughter and I both got bed bug bites from staying in this hotel for only 1 night, BEWARE.

Cockroach in room. Renovation late at night and had to change rooms. Dirty furniture and stained towels. Friendly and helpful staff.

Valet parking was mandatory and quite expensive. Everything else was good. AC unit was loud and the bath tub enclosure was outdated but still clean. Rooms were a 6-7 out of 10 IMO.

Great location to visit family, attend ball games and walk to museums and also the Anacostia River. Safe area with lots of families and dogs! Room was clean and comfortable. The AC was loud and kept coming on thru the night blasting cold air. Very hard to control. There must have been a youth group staying on our floor as kids were running up and down the halls until 10pm

This was our second time staying with you. The woman who greeted us and checked us in was lovely. Big smile and very efficient. The bathroom in the lobby was in great need of both times I used it. That was not the case the first time we stayed. Our shower diverter was not working (10PM) and Engineer Chris did his best to repair it. Results were good enough but more water was still flowing from the tub spout. We had to turn off the AC at 2:30 AM

General Manager left a text message earlier in the morning of check in that there was an issue with the cc on file and the room would be canceled if I didn’t provide a new# . So after that was provided the front desk check in was still confusing to them . The room was nice , but bath towels and wash cloths were short for a two person stay . We called down to the desk for one more of each , however they were never provided. Overall the room was nice , yet on the small side . It is convenient to the Metro ( if you take the Metro to the hotel , exit on the Department of Transportation side and save yourself a ten minute longer walk ) and Nationals Ballpark.

The water pressure was barely a trickle... room 914.

Unable to use the sink due to it not draining. No one was available to check it.

Overall, everything was really good except of the air conditioner/heating unit in the room. Got really loud at times may need to be checked.

Room was very nice. Front desk was very helpful. Two areas for improvement - coffe service was not refreshed by housekeeping, so we had to go downstairs in the morning to get refills. Also, the front desk staff had difficulty on both days working with the computer system on our billing

Amazing staff. Great hotel, location, options, service. 10/10!!!

For the rates that we paid, the rooms were strictly basic. The service at the reception was non-existent. One of the persons at the front desk was so unengaged that it felt like we were imposing on her even when we had a simple question.

The front desk clerk Nour was extremely rude and confrontational. The rest of the staff and the hotel were amazing.

I had an AMAZING time in DC. Bryan was wonderful with check-in. All of the Front desk staff are amazing they even remember your name when you are there.

Was a somewhat odd hotel. We checked in at around 8:00. It took 15 minutes for someone to come out to check us in, a separate worker was there and refused to let us use the restroom even though we were waiting to get checked in. After waiting the front desk agent came out wearing AirPods. Also the next morning the fire alarm went off for about a minute. We called the front desk to see what was going on and they simply said they were unsure. The place was clean and comfy but I certainly will stay somewhere else next time I’m in DC.

LaShae was so welcoming and helpful upon arrival! She listened to my rant about my stay at a property prior to booking the courtyard Marriott. Assured me i would have a great stay here and it was definitely that! When checking out, Barbara was so nice and helpful! Thank you for being so great!!

Check in staff was amazing!

I had a great experience until my last morning. After double checking that the check out time was 11am I got into the shower at around 915, only to hear my room door open and then close whilst i was in the shower. Ten minutes later as I was getting dressed housekeeping tried to enter my room again. I opened the door and explained i was still in the room and had not checked out (it was around 930 at this time i think). About 20 minuyes later housekeeping tried to enter my room for the third time! I again opened the door and explained that I was still in the room. The young lady that I spoke to had a bad attitude and was waving a piece of paper at me that apparently indicated that I had already checked out, which I obviously had not. I understand that mistakes can happen, but after the first time they realized I was still in the room they should have updated the record to say that I had not yet checked out. I did not appreciate the bad attitude that I received. I did tell the Front Desk person what had happened when I checked out and she was extremely apologetic, she said that a mistake had occurred on their end and that the system indicated that I had checked out at 650AM, when that obviously was not the case. As i said, I understand mistakes can happen but I don't understand why someone did not take the opportunity to correct the mistake once they realized that I was still in the room.

Clean, comfortable, good location - 20 minutes to walk to the Capitol, and also walkable to the waterfront for restaurants.

This was super close to the metro. The hotel was clean, staff checked us in quickly, gave us 2 bottles of water and the room was perfect.

The property was located within an easy walking distance to a variety of different restaurant options, and the baseball park.

This location was absolutely perfect for a Nationals game.

Close to Capitol, National Mall and other Federal buildings.

This is a very nice hotel and so convenient to walk to the many restaurants and bars in the area, and only 2 blocks from the Washington Nationals stadium!

Great location close to the baseball park and Capital Hill. The metro stop was close by for further attractions. There were also lots of walkable dining options. The Bistro coffee and breakfast was pricey, but there was a fantastic coffee shop next door that we frequented during our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Very walkable neighborhood. Staff was friendly and the on-site Starbucks was a real treat.

The representative that checked us in was fantastic. She was so pleasant and nice for a 1 am arrival. My only gripe is on the breakfast. It's not your traditional continental like it is at most Courtyard's. They have a cafe in the lobby and, unless you ask directly, there's no indication on what is included in the breakfast for your room. We thought we were ordering the right things but ended up paying thirty dollars for two coffees and two yogurts. The guy behind us ended up asking directly and she told him specifically what we could order. It was so dumb. Either they need a sign or offer the information at check-in. Definitely not my favorite Courtyard stay.

Good sized room. Well kept building. Nice neighborhood a block from the Metro station. Only negative is that breakfast was rather expensive.

Only 1 person at the front desk line going out the door, we had a concert to get to, roon was ok can use some better pillows, the pool area was clean. Thought they serve breakfast when we went down the lady hand us a menu to order from. We hand it back and left. Probably won't stat here again.

The food was great!

This is a lovely and often affordable hotel not too far from all the government buildings that I have to visit. They serve a small quantity of food round the lobby but it's always very tasty
