Hotel is centrally located on edge of GW campus. Bar/restaurant is located in basement (so no natural light). Better eating options outside hotel with Michelin rated Blue Duck Tavern across street in Park Hyatt Hotel and Nobu less than 2 blocks away. Accommodating staff. Stayed on slow Labor Day weekend so very quiet.

Have stayed here countless times. It’s always excellent and hands down my favorite hotel in DC. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious and beds are cloud like. Love the shower/soaking tub combo in the bathrooms. The gym here is probably the best hotel gym I have ever seen. Other perks include easy walk to Georgetown and the waterfront, metro close by get you to other parts of DC and only a 10 minute drive to DCA or Union Station.

Great location, friendly staff, clean room, and nice lobby space to meet with family. The bar/restaurant area is lacking and rarely open. We had to go down the street to another bar to watch the football game and get something to eat. My room on the 7th floor was very nice and quiet. The bathroom was spacious, however, the shower was surprisingly small. Maybe 36” square. I’m not a large person, but can’t imagine a large person showering in there. A lot of space was taken up with a tub. Maybe other rooms have larger showers?? I would stay at this hotel again. It was a good value for the price.

I recently checked in at your property and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The staff member who assisted with my check-in was noticeably less friendly compared to others I observed interacting with guests. Additionally, I was not informed about the valet charges, despite specifically inquiring about them. This information was either avoided or redirected, which I found frustrating. While the property was reasonably clean, I am concerned about the hotel’s pet policy. As someone with severe allergies to cats and dogs, I was disappointed to find that the presence of animals was not communicated clearly. There was pet hair on the mattress in my room, which is unacceptable and posed a health risk for me. Given these issues, I am hesitant to stay at this property again. I hope these concerns will be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

We got it very late and had called to say we had dri en 9 hours. Asked if food was available, they said yes in mini store, there was none. They put us in a room below some type of construction that started at 8am and the room next to us had off the wall loud family. The floors were filthy and bedding smelled like smoke. The lady at front desk would not even look in back for extra food. We were in your hotel for less than 12 hours for no sleep at 500$....disgraceful and when I told front desk gal she had no care in the world!

The room was not clean…food debris on floor and other items ….hair on bathroom floor …doorways caulked poorly …mini fridge holding a door closed. Could not use rest rooms on main floor due to a wedding. Breakfast service was awful…slow and inefficient. Service was very poor. Valet was excellent. Not what I would expect from a Westin. Beds not heavenly. Way overpriced.

Westin has done a poor job when it comes to in-room comfortness. Small closets, no drawers. I would trade 1000 times a bathtub that no one uses, for some extra space in my closet.

The location of the property and staff on site were both really great. We did not find the beds comfortable (too soft) and the shower was a tiny wand with light flow/pressure. The pluses were great but not enough to make up for the poor sleep and shower.

The hotel is well located but there were no drawers to put clothing in. Less important but odd was the placement of the tv. Instead of being directly across from the bed, it was off to the side. Even with the bracket which lets you angle it off the wall, it was at an inconvenient angle to watch from the bed. Otherwise the hotel was fine, but I've never stayed anywhere without drawers. Only there two nights so it wasn't horrible living out of the suitcase, but would be more problematic for a longer stay.

The location was a walkable distance from the metro which was nice. Several places close to eat along with a Walgreens and CVS if you forgot anything. Room was big with plenty of towels. We had no issues at all during our stay.

The check in was easy. Esther was very helpful; answered all our inquiries and assisted in meeting our needs during the 4 night stay. Our room was spacious with 2 queens and a pullout couch. We truly appreciate the safety measures they provide in accessing the elevator to the rooms by using the room key. Restaurants are within walking distance. We will definitely stay at The Westin again.

i had called prior to booking to confirm about room services, i was told twice the they offered room services. so i booked the stay with them, when i checked in i asked a gain and i was told yes again, the time came to order room services and no one answered the phones in the front desk after going to the front i was told not room services. also no one knew what to do or answer simple question. will not stay at the westin again.

Nice hotel in a very good area. Only issue was check in. We arrived later in the evening than we had planned because of a flight delay and they had given away our room and asked us to take a smaller room for the night. They managed to get us in the room we paid for after half an hour or so. Otherwise no problems.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at while in Washington DC. The Georgetown neighborhood is terrific and you are also with walking distance of the Silver Line; monuments, Arlington Cemetery, and The White House. Great staff and service. Thank you Westin Georgetown!

First time at the Westin Georgetown and. I would definitely return. Wonderful staff, excellent location, nicely appointed hotel. The restaurant/bar was enjoyable---food and beverage selections were very good.

The $25 credit to food was not beneficial or helpful to offset very high food prices. One of our 2 room & elevator keys did not work. We had the keys reset at front desk nut still the one key didn't work. We didn't try to get it fixed again. Location was great for our needs. These was a pile of conference & education books from a previous occupant
