Great little roadside motel that is feet from the beach! Rooms were spacious and clean, the pool area is open and there is a patio area under a tiki hut where you can enjoy some time out of the sun or a meal. I can't wait to return!

This property met our needs very well. Very clean, not a bug in sight. Friendly staff. Allowed us to check in early post cruise, also gave advice on shopping and dining options. Clean pool, laundry facilities and also lovely fellow guests. Excellent proximity to the beach.

We enjoy staying at this motel. It's very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. The last time we stayed we did have some noisy guests at night at the pool (after pool hours), which can happen at any hotel, but they left after a few days so thankfully it was more quiet and all turned out well. We have stayed at this motel several times and returning in October.

Sweet old style motel. The rooms were remodeled in a coastal vibe. The room was absolutely immaculate! I mean so... very clean! The pillows were very flat, but there were extras in the closet. The overall feel was great! Very safe area. It's an old motel, but the amenities were great! we would stay again and bring our own pillows and extra blanket. Loved the full size coffee maker in the room and they provided filters too, nice touch!

We had stayed in this motel years and years ago with my wife. Actually 3 different times. Back in years, the motel was dated, older furniture, however the rooms were always spotless clean. Last week , we needed a room to stay just for 2 days. When we checked in, the bathroom was dirty, stains on the toilet. 2 of the towels in the bathroom had stains on them. Told the receptionist, need 2 towels because of the stains on them, response was aren’t the towels enough for you in the room . I guess because of the language barrier. The lady couldn’t understand why I needed them. But she gave me 2 towels . We didn’t make a deal about it , my wife cleaned the bathroom and just stayed for a night and left the motel on 2nd day. We only needed the room for 1 night anyways. But the location is perfect, as anybody would know who is familiar with the area. Also, free parking is one of the best part of the motel.

We have stayed here many times and really enjoyed ourselves. However this stay it seemed we weren’t so lucky. Active termites and bugs. Told manager when we left and he said they knew about them and did we see them in the cupboards which is where all the crockery was. Also awful wi-fi

The motel was close proximity to the beach and restaurants. It was fairly clean, but it did have a musky odor in the room. Pictures make it look nicer than it is. If you just need a quick place for the night, it’s worth the money.

This is the classic example of a “before” shot in those HGTV home renovation shows. It was probably great once, but not now. Poorly maintained and borderline clean. The lights didn’t work in the bathroom - I literally had to grab the desk lamp and plug it in by the bathroom mirror so I could see. The bed was hard and super creaky. Don’t get tempted by the low price. Pay $50 or even $100 more and get a room you’ll enjoy.

Carriage House was a lovely 70s era beach motel, that exceeded our expectations. The location was fantastic. The price was a great value.The property was exceptionally maintained. The room was quite nice with fridge, microwave, coffee maker, real glassware, and very comfortable beds. The hosts (Mercedes and Suzanna) were delightful and welcoming.It appears this is a family style motel, with many returning guest. It was great for husband and me; no overly exuberant guests, everyone was very respectful and used the pool and dining area appropriately.I definitely feel I would come back here again.

The broken air conditioning made it impossible to get any sleep in the room. When they couldn’t repair the a/c, they didn’t even offer a fan to help move the air around. The woman at the front desk laughed at me when I suggested we get some kind of discount at checkout, given the discomfort and inconvenience. Also the floor was so dirty in our room that it stuck to our feet when we got it bed. It’s too bad because the property looks lovely on the outside, but it’s all for show.

This is an old motel that has been updated. Nothing fancy but it is clean and comfortable. Very short walk to the beach as well as restaurants. There is some road noise since it is located on A1A but nothing that kept us awake. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Great location, easy access to beach, parking right out front, pool is very nice. The rooms themselves are dated, showers need to be upgraded. Beds aren’t particularly comfortable and rooms don’t have the greatest insulation. For a beach motel for a night or two, it’s fine. Rooms looked nice still and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This place was fantastic in the way of comfort, cleanliness, and proximity to the beach and local restaurants. Friendly staff and plenty of amenities. Only negative was how much outside noise you could hear inside the rooms. Definitely use white noise if you are a light sleeper.

Only reason for not 5 stars (for the money) is that the suite (212) has central aircon that when it starts every 30mins or so it’s extremely noisy. Starts with a huge thump like the door being kicked in that wakes you up every time and then hums so loud for 10 mins that you can even feel it vibrate through the bed. Sort that and it would be a great stay.

This was our 2nd time staying overnight on our trip to the keys. We like the area just a block back from the beach and walking distance to restaurants. The AC had went out the day we checked in and was fixed about an hr after we got in our room. Rooms are clean and the only drawback is the beds are super firm.

Carriage House was a good value - clean, quiet accommodations at an affordable price. Very walkable to great beach and surrounding area. But, Given the comparative price, was not surprised that hotel is dated and not very attractive, very old. Daytime staff was surly. Appreciated daily cleaning and towel refresh, though.

Hotel is very clean stop for friendly. The only problem my head the AC broke down about 9 PM and there was no one to contact ended up leaving the hotel at midnight. The room was too hot to sleep in spoke to the hotel in the morning no apology they just said all the rooms lost the AC, not very professional

They were so welcoming. When the Expedia screwed up our reservation, they quickly helped us when Expedia said that there was nothing they could do. They absolutely saved our vacation!!

This was the second time we stayed here in just over a week. We had an issue that we couldn’t contact the reception and was running late to check inn, but when arriving the room was ready and the key was left out for us. It was a short stay, but great value for money.

I reserved a king bed months in advance. We had a late arrival. The room we got was two double beds. At check out I asked for a discount in price and didn't get one. Also, there was a drunk woman on her speaker phone outside making all kinds of noise from 11PM until 1AM. No security. The place was pretty nice, just don't expect to get what you ordered.

Came out in the morning to find a violation notice on my car, even though I had placed the parking permit on my dash the night before. When I asked why it was on my car. Mgmnt said it was because I did not have a permit displayed and I was lucky I did not get towed. When I said it was displayed their response was, no it wasn’t. When I showed the picture of it clearly visible she said you must have just put that there. I told her I placed it there the night I arrived and her response was, no you didn’t. If this hotel has no problem calling their guests a liar, what else won’t they have a problem doing.

Great location, easy access to beach, parking right out front, pool is very nice. The rooms themselves are dated, showers need to be upgraded. Beds aren’t particularly comfortable and rooms don’t have the greatest insulation. For a beach motel for a night or two, it’s fine. Rooms looked nice still and staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Carriage House is my "go to" when staying in Deerfield. It\'s easy to get to, just barely off the strip and in walking distance to the beach and shops. Highly recommend.

The Carriage House stay was wonderful, the staff were very friendly, the property and room were very clean and well stocked with what you needed for your stay. I would definitely stay here again. The walking distance to the beach was wonderful. Plenty of things to do just by walking, as this was close to the pier where shopping and restaurants were, very convenient. We will be back.

Room was clean, staff cordial, parking secure, really enjoyed the location being one block from beachfront. Building was a little older than what I expected or preferred but would consider staying there again for the location.

Carriage House is a lovely, well maintained 1950's style motel. The room and bathroom are adequately sized and we had everything we need. The best thing is the location. It's a block from the beach. We barely used the car because there are so many restaurants within easy walking distance. As an added bonus there is a free charging station for the electric car we rented in the beach parking lot a block away.

I think i paid 75 quid for 1 night stay driving back from Florida keys area back to Orlando..i was happy with that as nice clean room with everything working well..Pool clean with Tikki style area near by handy for the shade and carpark on site. Very close to beach and several bars and restaurants with 7- 10 minute walk so ticked all the boxes for me and woluld stay longer on next road trip in Florida.
