Exterior construction was super loud and constant even on Saturday when they said it wouldn't be going on. The rooms were great and the staff were friendly with the exception of the evening reception staff. They were annoyed by the guests and it showed. If you offer a free evening reception as value added to your guests, it should be done with a smile and hospitality. Not a harsh “NO Salt” when you ask for a margarita with salt. I worked for Hilton and Omni hotels for years and this reception crew needs training .

I like the location of the property. Its not too crowded like the other beach resorts. In addition, it is not to far from Ft Lauderdale, Miami, and Plam Beach. This have been my go to hotel for 5 years now. I love it. However, they need to bring the Tiki bar back. It made the pool area much more enjoyable.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars but made it 4 stars for two reasons. First, I booked this hotel mainly based on price, it was within budget. Upon check-in, she told me about the $35 resort fee but I thought it was optional for those who want beach chairs and fast wifi. Upon check-out I see I was charged $35 for EACH day that I stayed. When I asked them about it, they said the $35 per day resort fee was mandatory for all rooms. Argh! I didn’t know this and I had avoided using beach chairs trying to save myself the resort fee that was mentioned at check-in. Secondly, I didn’t know the area so if I ever come back to Fort Lauderdale, I will get a hotel closer to Fort Lauderdale beach. Also, $26 parking per day, the hotel does not have free parking. But all in all, the hotel was clean and the suites were spacious, and it was right on Deerfield Beach which was nice.

We were very disappointed with this Embassy. We’ve stayed frequently at Embassy and this was the worst ever. There was construction every day. It was so loud you couldn’t hear the TV and you couldn’t enjoy the pool because of the noise. Our room was not available until almost 5:00. It reeked of pot and the smoke detector was broken. The pool deck was dirty and had weeds in the cracks. Definitely changed my opinion of the Embassy chain.

The main lobby of this hotel is a wreck but the rooms and the views are worth it! They are currently doing some renovations so i’m hoping to see an updated and modern inside. They could also use an update to the pool area as well. They have some bad tile work that I tripped over a lot. Not the most handicap friendly! Just a heads up!

The property is currently under renovation mostly outside. My only issue in our room is that the water in the tub is not draining fast enough. The other thing is the pool, its dirty and i dont know if someone is checking the ph levels or if its being treated overnight. I actually didnt see anyone doing those checks.

The property is great and in a great location. The beach is just across a small road. Chairs are available to hotel guests and umbrellas for an additional charge. One of the elevators was out of order and there was painting/work being done on the property. These were inconvenient but not terrible. The room was great and the staff were wonderful. The Spa was spectacular! I’d stay there again.

Wonderful property and exceptional staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the dining and bar staff. (We LOVED the omelet chef!) The property was undergoing renovations, so things were a bit messy, but ya gotta do what you gotta do. Also, the keycard system couldn’t make room keys for the first day, so we were constantly having to ask the staff to let us into our room on the 6th floor. They were so wonderful about it though! Very professional and kind. The pool was awesome. The hottub could use some tweaking…very weak jets. Also, cleaning more than once in the morning or a better filter system is needed. Pretty dirty by the evening. I am already looking to book for a return stay!

I gave 4 stars, due to a couple of issues: an older hotel with some upgrades. The breakfast with order to make omelet is nice, the rest of the food is plastic, coffee is bad. Jacuzzi was very dirty. What we liked: the spotless rooms with the cleanest bedding sheets, heated pool, beach chairs , but umbrellas is $15. Thanks for drinks and snacks 5 -6:30pm. cleabest bedding

Very disappointing. First they gave me a dirty room then they gave me a litter clean a room. The pool was dirty. The hot tub was dirty. The Labed seats were dirty. I checked out the next day because I couldn’t stay there anymore. I was supposed to have a five day stay but I checked out after the first night.

Second time we have been to this property. Great location and close to amenities. However, we found that the level of cleaning is sub par. We entered our room and it seemed ok but upon further inspection, the sofa had crumbs. We left a note to have it vacuumed but we believe it was simply brushed off since a hair we had seen was still present. Foot towels on the floor near the shower were simply left there. The secondary lobby areas need attention and a deep cleaning. Staff are friendly. Although difficult to control, the birds made breakfast outdoors impossible. Lots of potential but needs attention to details.

We decided to stay at Embassy Suites for a long weekend. The hotel was under construction and we were not informed about the construction until we were checking in. The construction noise was very high during the day making it impossible to relax. Parking here is very expensive. It was $26.00 a day for self parking. The parking garage was very hard to get in and out of. The garage made me uncomfortable. It was dark, damp and did not feel structurally sound. We requested a room with a balcony, and the balcony was so small it was hardly suitable to sit on. Two chairs barely fit on it and the area around the balconies was over run by birds. The birds had pooped everywhere. The entire pool deck has not been cleaned in a long time. It really needs to be power washed. Our room was over run with ants. The hotel is very old and run down. It should probably be shut down to be properly renovated and reopened. It was definitely not worth the price we paid.

Embassy Arrival on 3/2/24 given room 711. On entry we noticed drinking glasses appeared to be used, uncovered and sitting near the sink, ice bucket was uncovered with a bag inside. Bed had been used and garbage was in the bathroom garbage can. We asked for housekeeping because we needed our room cleaned. House keeping showed up with coffee cups. We said no we need our room serviced. We called the front desk and requested a different room. We were given 708. We first found a used wash cloth over the shower curtain rod. While visiting friends in another room, we came back to find our sink drain stopper in our bathrooms had been unscrewed, which means someone had been in our room. The next morning we noticed the floor outside of our bedroom door was wet. Maintenance brought 2 blower fans in. The fans were run for a few hours. We had to request the blower fans again due to wet carpeting. Again they ran for a few hours. We were unhappy to find that our room door had been left open. The carpet has been wet the rest of our week. Our ceiling fan does not work, multiple light bulbs are out in the front bathroom and on our final night we caught a large cockroach. We were offered another room. We had requested to be close to our friends that were staying here and the only other room they could offer was the first room 711 which was not comparable to our room. The manager said he would refund us for the resort fees but did not follow through.

This property was right on the beach and the view is beautiful. We were on the 7th floor and when the elevator door opens you are hit with a horrible moldy, musty, mildew smell in the hallway. We would run to our room to avoid breathing and smelling it in. The property is under construction and at 9:00 sharp they begin working and drilling and it’s LOUD!!! Part of our balcony was blocked off with a piece of plywood and they were drilling directly behind our headboard. We planned to do some quiet studying and work from our room one day but it was too loud to be in our room. We came to attend an evening event and hoped to take a nap before going after being outside all day, but it was so loud we had to stay out of our room which defeated the purpose of getting a room. The Embassy suites should post on its website that it’s under construction or should section off where they are working and not assign guest to those rooms. We shared at check out about our disappointment for booking a beautiful ocean front room with a wrap around balcony that we had to avoid being in because of the LOUD construction. (1 sliding door is broken & stuck and VERY hard to get opened) They waved our $26 parking fee for two nights. I asked if that was the best they could do since we literally could NOT use our room and then she canceled the $35 resort fee. It was $200 total discount. The staff was great and this is no fault of theirs. Also the homemade omelets are the best.
This property was right on the beach and the view is beautiful. We were on the 7th floor and when the elevator door opens you are hit with a horrible moldy, musty, mildew smell in the hallway. We would run to our room to avoid breathing and smelling it in. The property is under construction and at 9:00 sharp they begin working and drilling and it’s LOUD!!! Part of our balcony was blocked off with a piece of plywood and they were drilling directly behind our headboard. We planned to do some quiet studying and work from our room one day but it was too loud to be in our room. We came to attend an evening event and hoped to take a nap before going after being outside all day, but it was so loud we had to stay out of our room which defeated the purpose of getting a room. The Embassy suites should post on its website that it’s under construction or should section off where they are working and not assign guest to those rooms. We shared at check out about our disappointment for booking a beautiful ocean front room with a wrap around balcony that we had to avoid being in because of the LOUD construction. (1 sliding door is broken & stuck and VERY hard to get opened) They waved our $26 parking fee for two nights. I asked if that was the best they could do since we literally could NOT use our room and then she canceled the $35 resort fee. It was $200 total discount. The staff was great and this is no fault of theirs. Also the homemade omelets are the best.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, and having access to the private beach was the real highlight of our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety, and the dining area was spacious and comfortable.That said, there are some things to be aware of. For one they were under renovations. I understand that, I was super happy with the room remodel, however the balcony was still under repair and we couldn’t use it. My biggest gripe was that the pool bathrooms outside were never cleaned the whole long weekend we were there. The smell of urine and wet, sludgey toilet paper was all over and every morning it looked like the day before. We found alternative bathrooms to use because it was aweful and I have small children.

We stay at this hotel two or three times a year. It's pretty expensive with all the resort fees. So expensive that they should not be forgetting the water that comes with said "resort fee." I paid $17 for a frozen rumrunner that was menu priced at $13. The drinks are not "tropical." They are watered down in a plastic cup, and you have to wait 20 minutes to even get one. There's only 1.5 hours in the night to get those "free" drinks. That should be available to guests all day long for what we pay. It's a great hotel, but all this nickel and dime for every little thing is ridiculous. They even bolted the shampoo/conditioner to the WALL! We always have a great time in Deerfield Beach. It's Florida's little piece of paradise.

Gorgeous views, nice spread for the free breakfast- along with an omelet making station, nice pool and hot tub.. the only thing that we had a complaint about is the bed in our room was like sleeping on cement. It was so unbelievably uncomfortable.

The repairs in the hotel was inconvenient due to the noise of construction. I work remotely most of the time so the noise from the jack hammer was very annoying. I was told by the front desk that my room 435 was on the opposite side of the construction, but it was not so. It was difficult holding meetings with the noise. I suggest you keep all construction on one side ONLY. For your customers accommodations!

I absolutely cannot say enough about the staff (they recovered my forgotten laptop quickly), professional, accommodating and hard working. Central location, near shops, choice of valet or self park, great buffet breakfast….I would definitely go back!!!!! Join Hilton rewards and guests can take advantage of great offers. BAD! BAD!! BAD!! Never in my life ever experienced such a rude staff DARLENE, JOANNE, BETTY (?) we not helpful at all. I called for over 8 hrs w an issue and no one ever answered. When I mentioned my issue I was told by Darlene it “sounds like a you problem” … I forgot my room #… wow!!! Terrible experience. Room smelled of mildews, buffet was messy and gross Gane at front was great but Darlene must GO!!! place was noisy. Under construction. Think the 10 reviews are bogus. No manger to ask for bc they are all managers so they say. Parking lot is dark. Car got hot and no assistance whatsoever no cameras . Front desk lady at night watched videos on phone all night would t even look up. Dropped off charger to my friend during day. They never got it. Even when they asked for it. So there’s too I guess. Bad experience all around. Won’t be back. Definitely not what use to be. Dark barked all night. No one to complain to. Terrible!!! Wonderful property and exceptional staff from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the dining and bar staff. (We LOVED the omelet chef!) The property was undergoing renovations, so things were a bit messy, but ya gotta do what you gotta do. Also, the keycard system couldn’t make room keys for the first day, so we were constantly having to ask the staff to let us into our room on the 6th floor. They were so wonderful about it though! Very professional and kind. The pool was awesome. The hottub could use some tweaking…very weak jets. Also, cleaning more than once in the morning or a better filter system is needed. Pretty dirty by the evening. I am already looking to book for a return stay!

We had asked for a complementary upgrade to our room. We were told upon check in that we would receive the complementary upgrade. They did not mention that behind the scenes Hilton had done this online and would charge us extra. We also had a terrible experience with room service, but the manager of the hotel passed it off to the manager of the restaurant and we played phone tag, but never resolved it. Overall, this was one of the worst experiences in terms of listening to and responding to the customer. In the past, we have always had good experiences with Hilton hotels.

We were really excited for our family trip to Deerfield Beach as our daughter is getting ready to attend FAU and we were here for orientation. We did not realize when booking our stay that there was extensive construction and renovations being done. We paid for an ocean view room and were placed in the middle section on the third floor, which in itself was not terrible but on Saturday evening, there was an event being held, and we seem to be right above it. While music was playing well into the evening past 11 PM our entire family could not sleep. We were on the third floor, but the music sounded like it was directly below us with the base bumping so loud That even when it stopped it continued in my head for an additional 45 minutes. I would imagine there were hundreds of complaints during this time as the noise was unbelievable. I would never expect this kind of disturbance in a hotel room, especially for the price that we paid for our room. I would say that the staff at the hotel was the redeeming quality about this facility, as everyone that we encountered was absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful, and we could not have been happier with the service that we received at this hotel.

We stayed at this property for a long weekend with two little kids. The property was very nice and clean overall. However, there are a few drawbacks: first, other than hanging out at the only outdoor pool or beach with the kids, there is nothing else for kids to do. It was raining one of the days that we were there and we didn’t have anything to do. All activities from the area are at about 45 mins away from the property and many places didn’t want to pick us up from the property because of the distance. The restaurant is okay, but the food choices are very limited. It would have been nice to have a kids activity room or an indoor pool. We wanted to go for a walk around the property, but there were a lot of abandoned hotels/properties; it looked unsafe so we decided to stay within the property limits. In addition, Please note that from the pictures it seems like the hotel has its own private beach. It does not; the beach is in the front of the hotel, but it is public. I would have given this hotel 5 stars but made it 4 stars for two reasons. First, I booked this hotel mainly based on price, it was within budget. Upon check-in, she told me about the $35 resort fee but I thought it was optional for those who want beach chairs and fast wifi. Upon check-out I see I was charged $35 for EACH day that I stayed. Location, location, location - excellent! The pool is great and then walk across the road/boardwalk and you're at the beautiful beach! Nice hot breakfast in every morning which we really enjoyed too. The building itself was fine, and you can't beat the amenities!

If you offer a free evening reception as value added to your guests, it should be done with a smile and hospitality. Not a harsh “NO Salt” when you ask for a margarita with salt. We had a fantastic time! The kids had a blast enjoying the pool, the beach, and playing ping pong. Breakfast was a highlight—especially the made-to-order omelet station. The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

This is really just an average hotel stay. I’m convinced they call it a resort so they can add on a resort fee. When we went to check in they said our room wasn’t ready, which it was 4 pm so why wasn’t our room we reserved ready? They ended up changing our room and placing us on the side where major construction was going on. I believe while you’re booking or even after you book, a hotel should update you on the construction. So from 9 am to 5 pm for the entire week we were there, a jack hammer like sound was right about our room, so we had to stay clear of our room all day. If you’re a napper or have small children this won’t work for you. The breakfast is included which honestly that was fine, but would not recommend eating lunch or dinner at the hotel. The prices are higher than fancy restaurants and the food was subpar. They have a happy hour that’s included but it only includes well drinks and bud light, anything else you might want has an up charge. Lastly when walking to the beach to lay out everyday there is a man who owns his business (not associated with the hotel) who lays the chairs out for you. It’s actually a public beach, so again why is this a “resort”. And he only has 25 chairs a day. It’s a small beach so there’s not much room to do anything unless you walk to the actual Deerfield beach. I don’t know. For the money we paid we were better off doing an all inclusive and having a luxurious time. Oh I also remembered. The pool and hot tub cleanliness. 0/10.

If you’re a napper or have small children this won’t work for you. The breakfast is included which honestly that was fine, but would not recommend eating lunch or dinner at the hotel. The prices are higher than fancy restaurants and the food was subpar. They have a happy hour that’s included but it only includes well drinks and bud light, anything else you might want has an up charge. Lastly when walking to the beach to lay out everyday there is a man who owns his business (not associated with the hotel) who lays the chairs out for you. It’s actually a public beach, so again why is this a “resort”. And he only has 25 chairs a day. It’s a small beach so there’s not much room to do anything unless you walk to the actual Deerfield beach. I don’t know. For the money we paid we were better off doing an all inclusive and having a luxurious time. Oh I also remembered. The pool and hot tub cleanliness. 0/10.

Loved the breakfast! Loved the view from the room. Shower pressure was great, room was clean. Cocktail hour could have been better and restaurant dinner I expected more. Staff was friendly. I would recommend this as a nice resort to stay.

This was an excellent stay. The breakfast was awesome and service. Access to the pool and beach was great. The only thing I would like changed is paying for WiFi. Wifi is typically free at hotels. But overall, this was an excellent stay.
