We were expecting a restaurant not just a tiki bar. Also, the hot tub was not "hot" and the water level was very low. Water was not available in our room we had to ask the front desk and when we went back the next day for more water, we were shown the mini store where water could be purchased.

Nice hotel, best pool compared to surrounding hotels which is important for my kids. Good breakfast. Pool/beach towels included. Only thing I didnt like is that parking is charged at around $20 a day.

We really enjoyed the room with the balcony. The hot tub was broken, unfortunately, but the pool was OK. Breakfast was good, and they had plenty of gluten-free options for me with my allergy. Service was really good at the Hotel. I had a chicken salad in the tiki restaurant on the beach, and it was amazing! Great service at the restaurant.

The trees kind of blocked the view unless you stood. Need to stay on the 4th floor or higher. The only complaint i have is it took forever for the hotwater to come on, the digital key wouldnt work and our physical key stopped working about an hour before check out. We got back from the hospital from an appt and was locked out at 1045. Had to get the cleaning lady to let us in to get our things. Other then that, abosultely a lovely hotel. We will be back.

Wonderful location! The most friendly staff. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and felt so welcomed. The staff made the stay great. Coffee in the lobby available 24/7!!!! Hot and fresh!!! The pool…. Amazing, and at night it’s beautifully lit. Open until 10:00 pm too! Free breakfast was four stars. We ate a lot! You can walk to the beach that’s just steps away!!! The only bad part was the room and bathroom were grungy. Q- tip and wrappers on the bathroom floor that wasn’t ours. There were only a couple towels, and the floor didn’t look swept. The countertop in the bedroom area was dirty. I opened the balcony door, and Doritos flew out of the door track. It was a dirty room. We only stayed one night so, I requested more towels and that wasn’t a problem. I bring Clorox wipes, so I just cleaned what we touched… I’d still recommend this great place!!!

We only stayed one day, on our way back from vacation, but nice comfortable hotel. Room was clean. Pool and ocean view is very nice. The hotel is a little outdated, but everything else makes up for it. Nice breakfast too, and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay.

Hot tub had a filthy rim around it. Carpet in the room needed cleaning and the bath tub has soap scum. Staff was friendly but not knowledgeable of the area. They recommend a restaurant in the city that had been shut down and did not have resources for things to do on bad weather days. We wouldn’t go back.

The hotel is very tired and needs an update. The hallways are stale smelling and the air stagnant. We found several areas that had mold. The rooms were decent, but the cleanliness could’ve been a little bit better. The beds made a ton of noise as well as the air conditioner. The room had a weird smell, but we passed it off since it is a beachfront hotel and they typically smell musty with age. The parking is also terrible. They charge you by the night, but do not have enough to accommodate all of their guests.

From cleanliness to friendly Service everything was great including the all-inclusive breakfast. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had a great night sleep. Pool area is fantastic and so is the hot tub, however watch yourself on those bottom grates ..I accidentally broke my toe on it because it's raised. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect.

The good: The pool was nice, however fairly unruly with no supervision. The proximity to the beach is nice. Original room was nice The bad: They placed us in our room that we booked online. At about 6pm you could hear there was a party next door. We shared one of those inner doors with them so we could hear it well. We anticipated this would be a problem if it kept going, so we asked the front desk what should we do if the party went late. They told me that at 10pm we will send security up to resolve it. At 10pm the party was a bit more rowdy, and we needed to put our kids to sleep. We called the front desk, they said they would send someone up. Nothing happened, we didnt hear a knock on their door. At 10:30 I called again - this time a different manager answered the call. He said that they sent a security person up but he didnt hear anything. I Went out in the hall hear them without even standing by the door. I asked him if he could change our room, and he asked me to come down to the desk. So I did, as I was leaving to walk to the elevators I could hear the party in the room all the way down the hallway. I dont know if anyone else complained. They moved our family to another room. I was told it was an upgrade, and it had an ocean view where ours did not, but we went from a king suite with separating rooms to a single room with two queen beds. I booked that room specifically for the privacy and having 2 tvs. Come to discover that the new room had no hot water.

Hotel was clean and staff was nice, I docked a star just because there was no AC in the hallway of my floor and the AC in my room was extremely inconsistent, it would be very hot even when set to 69/70, and then it would randomly get extremely cold (like down to 65) and so on. Other than that, the room was great, staff was kind and accommodating, breakfast was good, and the pool and beach were both beautiful.

First of all, the staff was the best part of this hotel. Extremely friendly and nice, and very helpful. Second, the pool is outstanding, as well as the proximity to the beach. If you get a room with a beach view, you won't be disappointed by the wonderful view, as you listen to the waves crash over and over. However, the overall state of the hotel is a bit lacking. Stayed on floor 6, and the smell in the hallway by the ice machine was terrible. Maybe they let too many dogs poop on the carpet, maybe the ice machine has mold, but our first impression was that smell and it was terrible. The carpet was also noticeably stained, probably from pets I would assume. Once we get into the room, you could only barely smell it, but I do recommend bringing a bit of febreze. Overall 4 stars, if they get that part of the experience fixed it would be 5.

The front desk staff was awesome! Steve greeted me with a big smile and made sure I understood the layout of the property. He went out to my car and introduced himself to my family and made sure they were ready to have a great time that week! The hotel was always being cleaned (ocean front hotel sees a lot of sand), breakfast was great, pool was great and access to the ocean is steps from the pool! The Tides restaurant (hotel restaurant) was a great place to grab some food and a beverage (fish tacos and a Kona Big Wave were a daily must)!

We spent a week at the Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach. We had an amazing stay. The beach, beach side bar/ restaurant, and the hotel pool were great. We only left the property for dinners at local restaurants, which were also great. We walked to 4 and Ubered to 3. At the beginning of our stay the hotel was pretty quiet but because hurricane Helene was coming, they became very busy. Throughout the staff was fantastic. The cleanup after the storm was quick. Really a great place to get away, relax and recharge. The only knock is that the bed and furniture is a bit more firm than I am accustomed to. Get extra pillows or bring your own. Definitely recommend The Hampton Inn Jacksonville Beach.

Each time I called with a concern I was met with kindness and action no matter which staff member I spoke too. The pool and beach were beautiful! My kids had a blast! We have stayed at this location on several occasions. This time, the facility was significantly run down and the staff was absolutely rude the entire time we were there. Also, the breakfast buffet is normally pretty good but it was very lacking this time. Every time I went for coffee, it was empty and they would get crappy when I asked for some. The location is good and we love the beach but this hotel has definitely gone down hill over the past year.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The walk to the beach with our 5 and 3 yr old was very accessible and convenient. The restaurant was good and had excellent drinks. The pool was incredible! It was very calm and quiet on the beach. Much less congested than the hotels and beaches south, closer to the pier. Still only about a 15 minute walk to the pier. Also conveniently close to great shops and restaurants both directions (south, Jax beach and north,Neptune and Atlantic beach).

If you’re looking for an oceanfront option, and you don’t need a full house, this is an excellent place to stay. I booked the oceanfront room, was on the second floor, and the experience was fantastic. It had a sliding door with access to the balcony and chairs for seating. I enjoyed my Hampton Inn included breakfast in my room sitting outside with an oceanfront view. The location is very central to everything along Jacksonville beaches and there’s plenty of places to eat and shop. I was there for a conference in downtown Jacksonville. It was great to return back this room at the beaches in the evening. If you’re going to Jacksonville, it’s worth the commute to stay in Jacksonville Beach and this Hampton Inn is a solid option.

Family-friendly hotel that is right on the beach! Helpful staff that always says good morning and has a smile. Especially nice that there is coffee, tea, and hot chocolate around the clock and a four-hour breakfast window that accommodates early-rising parents and the teens that want to sleep in. Breakfast has many options including the waffle makers, eggs, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt and breakfast pastries.

We got an Ocean View room. It was great! Bed was comfortable, room was clean and quiet. Loved hearing the surf during the night. Loved being able to get a beach towel for the beach and pool. We were right on the beach! The staff checking us in was amazing. Informative and professional. The staff in the evening at the desk were also great. I only have 2 things that are not so great. We went to the restaurant to have an adult beverage. I got a Pina Colada, and it was the most flavorless Pina Colada I have ever had. I didn't taste the pineapple, coconut or even the rum. I thought it was very strange to get a drink with no taste. My husband enjoyed his drink. We went in the hot tub. It was in serious need of a cleaning. The water was low and there was a greasy stain all along the water line. I didn't notice it before we got in, or we would not have gotten in. This should be cleaned daily, or several times a day, if needed. Overall, this is a good property. If they could improve the bar and the hot tub I would say it was excellent.

The staff is super friendly. They have the best breakfast of any Hampton inn on the planet. They have about 14 items to choose from waffles to omelettes or bagels and Danish even oatmeal.. if you're lucky enough to get a room with a beach view which takes your breath away.. The pool is huge and heated with a grotto. They also have a hot tub to relax in the room was very spacious for 2 ppl. The beds are very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is good for snacks. The hummus ,quesadilla and pretzels are really good The hotel is centrally located near other great restaurants in the area.I highly recommend this place . It is a costly place to stay. But for all you get it's worth it
