Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Ponte Vedra Sawgrass

The power went out the fire alarm went off. We didn’t know if there was a fire or what was going on. We were all ushered out of the hotel to find out. There was no fire, but now no one could unlock the doors to get us up into our rooms, we missed appointments. We couldn’t do anything we plan to do for the trip because we weren’t able to get into our rooms to finish dressing it was absolutely horrible. Just a horrible experience. The emergency lights did not go on in the stairwells. The stairwells were pitch black very dangerous horrible experience.

The hotel cancelled my reservation and made me pay them directly. Hotels.com should give me a refund.

Wasn’t able to make it to breakfast I think it was in the pub but it must close a certain time. It was really confusing because the site says closes at 11am? The room was clean no hairs found, just felt really outdated in the bathroom area especially the tub/shower. Pool was underwhelming, and they close at dawn so that’s kind of lame. We were refused late checkout. Cleaning staff was very friendly.

Good breakfast

Check in was much quicker this time. Room was great.
