Amazing family vacation! Everything you need is at the resort or within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond. There is plenty of activities for children. The property is clean and well maintained. The only minor issue is some maintenance could be done in the hallways and rooms. Definitely will be a regular vacation spot for us.

We upgraded to the Paradise by Sirene, Adults Only section, when we arrived at the hotel. I think it was a great choice for us because it was Memorial Day weekend and there were a lot of families there. Sirene has rooms in a separate area of the hotel, separate area on the beach, separate breakfast restaurant, and an adult pool. For us, this was totally worth the up charge.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Staff is beyond friendly. The restaurants were delicious and is walking distance to others as well. The only issue we had was having to get up early to wait in line to get chairs by the pool. If you didn’t want chairs at the pool the beach had plenty to choose from.

The property should have FREE mosquito spray throughout the resort. We got eaten alive. There should be an indoor/outdoor space so families can enjoy the outdoors. There should also be music by the pool so swimmer can hear it. The night is also zero to none. Where is the party life at night?

We have two small children (ages 4 and 6). The onsite pools, beach, arcade were the perfect entertainment for them all week. The hotel itself needs to be updated. For the price you pay per night PLUS the daily resort fee, the rooms should be updated, the room cleaning everyday was awful. There would be garbage left from the previous day, sand still in the carpets and bed and they wouldn't always replenish the coffee in the room. I found this to be very off-putting for such an expensive hotel. Also, this hotel is geared towards families. The pool and beach is filled with children and they charge $55/day for a resort fee, yet there are NO LIFEGUARDS at the pool or beach ! This was the biggest concern I had as parents are also on vacation and trying to manage a few things at once and trying to enjoy themselves. I have been to 3 star hotels and a lifeguard was always present at both the pool and beach. The restaurants are expensive, but the food was delicious so it was worth it for convenience as well. I would return bc of the amenities, but wish they would offer more for what we pay.

The beach here was outstanding...amazing shelling as well! The rooms are looking a little tired, and there really isn't much to do. Travelling with a teen he found himself quite bored. The arcade is a nice amenity, however, it'll cost you. You burn through the arcade cards at a rapid pace. I was quite irked too as we purchased an arcade card for a heftier amount to last us the few days we were there, only to be turned away our last day because of a private event. There was signage around the hotel the arcade would reopen at 9pm, but we were turned away and told to come back at 10pm. We went back at 10:15 and were told we had to leave because it was closed for the function for the rest of the night. I explained it was our last night and we still had funds remaining on our arcade card, but the manager did nothing for us even when I asked if our remaining funds could be refunded. This left a very bad taste in my mouth considering it was the only form of entertainment available for my son. Additionally, be prepared to budget for parking. There aren't any options available other than through the hotel, so even self-parking will set you back US$35 per day (almost CDN$50 which is pretty steep). Overall, a great option if you're looking for a romantic weekend away or if you're planning a baby moon, but given the lack of things to do, I wouldn't bring teens or stay longer than a few days.

A very clean and well maintained property. Beach front access to one of the best white sand beaches in Florida. The location is close to local restaurants and activities. The dining on the property is outstanding.

When we arrived, we were shown to a room and went up with the bellboy. Immediately there was a VERY strong smell of dog urine and dog. Even the bellboy said, I wouldn't stay here. Disgusting!!!

Have been here several times and this time it was good. Room is spacious and we got a free upgrade pool side view and ocean view which was very nice. The bathroom in the room has a tub that’s to high to get into and it had mildew around it which is unacceptable for a JW Marriott and the prices they charge. The location is great and the beach and service was very good. The Cafe service although very busy was very good. Restaurants are good but pretty pricey but guess that’s par for course. Overall a good hotel with great location and beach.

Tiki pool was great. Reserved chairs 40/41 so we could watch our kids and it was the best decision. Also found bugs crawling on the baseboard in our room, holes in the sheets etc

The place was very good until the night time when we find out that the shower was leaking water to the outside causing one of my daughters to fell on the floor, my wife found and kill a cucaracha into the room (10th floor) and the A/C was never able to cool the room enough so we can sleep comfortable! Oh mattress on our bed super hard for our like and wood outside of the shower getting rotten apparently from the water spilling out whish I assume is being happening for a while! We ended up packing our stuff and driving back home so we could sleep that night. Lockley for us we live in close by! If you want to go and enjoy the hotel amenities is ok but definitely not to stay! To costly for the quality!

i have stayed at this property for the past 10 years every easter as this is where my family gathers for the holiday. Because the property has gotten increasingly busy during this period over the years,( they are great for kids on easter) the ability to maintain the levels of service has clearly become challenging for them to maintain. My kids are now grown therefore i stayed in their new section for 21 and older called Serine. The check in, facilities, staff, convenience, beach and private pool location and staff were EXCELLANT. Saying this, their new rooms were highly disappointing. Because it does rain in Fl at times you sometimes will relax in your room, saying this the air conditioner is constantly running LOUD, my bathtub leaked and had water extending all the way to the bedroom, under the beds were extreamly dusty and clearly weren’t attended to, for $2000 a night there was no bathroom amenities such as shampoo and cream rinse, shower gel ( just a bar soap), the drapes didn’t pull back all the way making the already very dim lit dark room even darker, no make-up mirrors in bathroom either. unless you had an ocean view the rooms remain dark and the lights don’t help at all. The safe is located in the living area as opposed to the bedroom, antiquated telephones, clocks and no updated charging ports, no minibar just an empty mini fridge. For the price per night despite the lovely pluses of the private areas the rooms need to be highly updated and modernized.

We were in room with a screaming baby next door. The walls are so thin. The housekeeping ladies were having a really loud discussion outside of our room waking us up. The service was terrible at the restaurant and the food was not good at all and wayyyy over priced.

The spa was great and hotel was fun. The only complaint was the beds, which were very hard. Both my wife and I had sore hips and shoulders every morning when we woke up on a 4 night stay. We never slept well.

When we arrived at the hotel we were given a room that was a downgrade from the room we reserved. We were told that evening that the room we reserved was not available that night or the following. When I cam back downstairs I spoke to a different person who advised that they could put us in the room we reserved the next morning first thing. I don't understand how that room was available the next morning but not the evening we arrived. Two days into the stay in the correct room, the vent in the bathroom started leaking. They then moved us to a different room. The third room was an upgrade and we were very appreciative of that as well as the credit given for the inconvenience.

Clesrly under staffed during spring break. Lining up 1 hour every morning to get a pool chair is not ok in any circumstances. Dining options limited as all tables were not available due to staff shortage. Not worth of spending $1,000 a night for this service. You simply pay for a service you don’t get.

We wanted to love this hotel. We live in area and made a weekend out of it for my wifes birthday. The cost was more than we wanted to pay at nearly $800 a night! Check In, despite asking for early check in our room was not ready. Understandable and I anticipated that. What was kind of disturbing was bag check, very chaotic and disorganized. When our room was ready we were told by bag check they couldnt find our bag, they asked me to go in there and locate, when i did they said"you can just take it up yourself if you want". Not the service inwould expect at a $800 a night hotel We splurged on chairs for $100 with setvice fees. The view was good, nothing disappointing here. Its a beautiful. The biggest complaint has to be the food and the service. Food was notnworth the money or the waits. Staff seems very disinterested in their jobs, no real urgency to take care of guests. Quinns was proably the most disappointting for food quality. Tiki bar took minutes to get 1 drink, one of the bartenders went to kitchen in middle.of the rush and didnt come back for 30 minutes. Lots of complaining guests. Overall the staff we dealt wil underwhelming, unhappy and not overly interested in helping. Overall a 2 out of 10. We would not come back for the prices. They need to do some serious hospitality training and not just focus on nickel and diming their guests. We stay at alot of hotels and this may be the most disappointing experience i can remember. The property is absolutely beautiful. Staff is beyond friendly. The restaurants were delicious and is walking distance to others as well. The only issue we had was having to get up early to wait in line to get chairs by the pool. If you didn’t want chairs at the pool the beach had plenty to choose from.

Dated but elegant still. Very kid friendly and family oriented. I loved all the activities they had for kids. Front desk very nice and welcoming and rooms comfortable with small balcony. What I didn’t like was the rudeness and attitude of the male host/manager with vest in Maia breakfast. I came up to ask him a question, he ignored me twice and he rudely told me to go back and make the line. I was simply trying to ask him a question. We did make the line but I was very upset about this treatment.

A really aggressive security knocked really hard on our door I was in room 708 and he was really mean with really bad attitude and waking up the kids and saying that we were being loud saying that we where cursing and we were just trying to sleep and we didn’t even want to open the door but he was knocking really hard like if the fbi was kicking are door open and we don’t like the way how he treated us really low class and terrible attitude.

Stayed while attending a conference. First time I have stayed at a JW Marriott Hotel. Not particularly impressed. Staff at front desk were accommodating and helpful, thank you. The food for the conference was good. Lots of salad and ran out of beef often creating a bottleneck. Chose fish option (was delicious, grouper, mahi, and tilapia) but inconvenient. Room was ok, average at best. Tired, facilities needs to improve the room conditions. There were many minor but obvious improvements needed in room, especially trim and moldings. As a professional contractor, I couldn’t help but notice the poorly installed moldings, trims,and baseboards. Food in restaurants was expensive and ok, as well as the service. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. If you need anything, be prepared to order from Instacart. No store on the property. Needed distilled water for my CPAP. Had to order from Walmart and get delivery. I have stayed in many hotels in my life, all over the world. This is a 2 start hotel that is tired. With the amount of money they charge and nitpicking charges for everything they do, it has the potential to be the luxury hotel it claims to be. Take some time to inspect the property and DO NOT overlook the most minor details as they are what really count. Next time, I will stay elsewhere. My apologies to anyone offended by this review. It is honest and I hope it helps and makes a difference.

Dated rooms, staff was not very friendly. They nickel and dime you and regardless of what type of service you get at a bar or restaurant they automatically add 20% gratuity to everything. I purchased 2 frozen drinks poolside. The bartender grabbed a plastic cup and filled it up with the premixed Pina Colada out of the Slurpee machine and it was $50. I also had to print 5 sheets of paper that cost me $12. For $900 a night I will go elsewhere.

We were unable to enjoy the beach since there seem to have been a hurricane 10-14 days prior and the water was gross! Pools were really nice and the kids enjoyed them! Check in time took over 1 hr to get a room ready! Mind you we arrived after 4:30pm! Food by the pool was not good at all! The dining options we enjoyed was the steakhouse and Kane bar and grill was amazing food with beautiful views.

This is the picture perfect resort. All the amenities you need and may want and a no stress environment as well. Beautiful hotel, once you check in you really don't need to go anywhere else. World class spa, several delicious restaurants and a wonderful beach. Highly recommend.
