Many issues here (5 day stay - end of July 2024) - The room 1st assigned to me smelled so moldy that they switched rooms. 2nd room, a bit more tolerable, smelled musty but less so than the 1st. - Fitness Centre closed my entire stay due to "renovations" "sorry for the inconvenience" sign said. - Outside pool closed my entire stay. Gates locked by Fla. Dept. of Health due to some leakage, again sorry for the inconvenience (note: awarded me $67.23 pool refund). - Back doors (auto sliding glass doors) were broken, could not enter or exit - sign said "Out of Order" please use side doors. Meaning to go out the back you had to walk around to either side of the hotel to enter/exit from the rear. this "out of order" was there from when I arrived to when I checked out. - Family asked why would I even stay in a place like that..? I've questioned myself and can't find any logical answer. May have developed brain damage from the mold I inhaled in the room for 5 days. However I can honestly say I'd never ever go back - Sorry Holiday Inn but all problems point to poor property management - install new management ASAP make the world a happy place..!!!

It was a bummer that the pool was closed for my entire stay. It looks beautiful. The room I was in was not renovated yet (renovations in progress throughout hotel) and it smelled a little musty. Also the tv didn't work well. Believe it or not, the reception was poor. I'd probably stay again though because it is so close to where my kids live.

Carpet and room was damp with mold spots in the bathroom. 3rd floor smell hits you when you step off the elevator. Pool had a lot of bugs and leaves floating in it. Hot tub broken. Pool gate not locked so it was full of local freeloaders that did not pay to stay there.

Great swimming pool and the staff were helpful. It is good value for the money and although it is lower end accommodation, it was quite comfortable and we had no issues. Breakfast was a hot buffet. The pool is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed our short 4 day stay.

I’m not sure why but my hotel room constantly felt damp from humidity. I thought the AC helped but when I came back from being out one day it still felt damp in the room and the bedding and carpets even felt damp. I booked this hotel on a trip and chose it because it had a pool. Upon arrival, we discovered the pool was not operational, neither was the fitness area. I would not have chosen this property if I would have known it didn’t have an operational pool. I feel as though advertising it was misleading to customers and that is a poor business practice.

When we noticed our sheets were damp we asked for new ones. As we were ready to change our sheets because there was no housekeeping avilable we discovered both mattresse on one bed was ridden with mold!!! All they did was put us in a different room. Pool lights were floating in the pool and jacuzzi waa full of dirt and debri feom the ongoing construction. I will never stay in another IHG hotel.

This should be taken off Experian. This property is so so run down, the room had blood stains on the bed, shelves falling off the wall and despite being on the second floor what looked like water damage, there was mold in the tub and paint peeling off the walls and door. We immediately walked out and had to find somewhere else to stay. They did offer a refund no questions asked, the staff is clearly used to people walking out.

The person at the front desk was very nice, but I did specifically ask to be placed in the quietest room that they had when I got to my room, it smelt like urine and the carpet was torn in several spots, I was highly unimpressed with the quality of the room for as much as I spent to stay there I was also placed in a room very close to the elevator and a high traffic area facing a main road. I was very tired and when I went to climb into bed, the sheets were dirty and I don’t mean stained. They were literally dirty and disgusting. I’ve stayed at this hotel twice before and I’ve never been so disappointed this hotel needs a remodel, and every room should be deep cleaned, including the carpets.

The room is old and uncomfortable. Night tables are loose, and the phone does not work. The lighting is poor, and the bathroom is tiny. This room is overvalued at $154 a night. Additionally, the TV service is minimal, and the screens are tiny. This room should not cost more than $50-$80. Change the windows to minimize the street noise and have some water in the room for guests once they arrive. I will never use this hotel again, and I will ensure that my colleagues and friends know you are overcharging for what you offer.

Hotel is clean but is not inexpensive. About $90 a night. Laundry room has dryers that do not get hot, so you’ll never get done, and they are coin operated. You will be up all night. No breakfast except if you pay a seedy little restaurant in the hotel. Loud barking dogs are common. Hotel rooms and hall smell like lavender. TVs don’t work. No microwave in room. You can’t heat food. Pet fees are reasonable.

The stay was terrible and deserves no stars. We went to use the pool. Neither Hotel.com or the hotel website said it was under construction and the pool wasn't in use. We also had to switch rooms because our carpet was wet and the room smelled like mill dew. There were also terrible stains on our sheets in our second room. I hope someone can make this right even if its a free stay or money back. We were really disappointed. As well as my boyfriends little girl. We were trying to surprise her to go swimming. Oh and the wifi did nothing for us because it wasnt working. We had to use our hotspots.

Very disappointed. The room, although a suite, was sparsely furnished. There was a musty smell and a dampness to the room. The mattress was too big for the frame making you feel like you would slide off. There was poor lighting. The bedside shelves were falling off the wall. The door to the room didn't feel secure. Road noise was loud. Only positive was the two televisions. Definitely not worth the money. If I could I'd ask for a refund. They need to close the hotel and do complete refurbishment.

The morning staff, cleaning staff, and breakfast staff were wonderful. The hotel is extremely out dated. The carpet, furniture, flooring, and other amenities were falling apart and the elevators inspection certificates expires in August of 2025 (it’s now October). We paid for a king suite and were given a double bed with a king suite rate and told that they don’t have any king beds on the property. The evening staff kept telling guests that the room keys were deactivated and the only he had a master key to allow guests in and out of their rooms. When another couple requested to be let into their room he told them they had to sit and wait until he was ready to walk them upstairs and when they understandably complained he hopped over the counter and threatened physical violence. The sprinkler systems are rusted over and the carpets are damp throughout the building. There were prostitutes waiting for rides in the lobby and the evening staff was making cash deals out front. 10 out of 10 do not recommend this property. I can’t believe Hotels.com would do business with them.

Not the best experience. Room was not the cleanist i have stayed in. Curtain would not close (broken and frayed materiel). Informed the desk and they said they would send someone to repair but they never did during the 2 days before i checked out. Room looked very used with sopts on the couch. Also check in was lengthy even though i did the precheck. Front dest had no idea with the costs i prebooked through Expedia were. Right now there is still an extra $130 on my card that has not been removed?? Will probably have to dispute with AMX.

The abandoned building next door has trash all around it. The hotel itself is being renovated so that was an inconvenient the restaurant is not open all day long and their food is not that great and my room smelled like what paint and maybe I'll go back once the renovations are done but I don't recommend this hotel until they're done also the people next door to us were smoking weed and we notified the front desk three times and they did nothing

The staff was nice and accommodating since my first room smelled like cat urine. I was moved to a different room with clogged sink. It was so late, I decided to stay in the room. It’s an old property and the ware is obvious. There are signs that say they’re renovating but there’s a lot to do. Stains on floors, couches, and throughout the hotel. The attached restraint is over priced mediocre food.

Mattress had a huge hole that I sank into (bed close to window) no bath mat provided until we asked for it and extra towels. Carpet smelled old. No numbers for Desk or dining room provided. No writing utensils or note pad. Tv could only be viewed from one bed. Room was ok clean, not disgusting but just ok. Breakfast was good, waitress was very pleasant and chatty, helpful.

Room needed to be updated. The door between our room and the next room didn’t appear to fit/close all the way! Kind of gapped. At bottom and very tight at top as if it had been twisted. Bathroom shower really needed to be gone over as there was mold around top of tub and tile and some of tile grout had mold, also shower on off device didn’t work very good to much water out picket and that means less water out of shower head. Didn’t expect to have a separate charge for breakfast, not at a Holidsy Inn Express anyway. Everything else in room and lobby was fine.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Holiday Inn Port St. Lucie. From the moment we arrived, the room felt excessively humid and had a strong musty odor. My wife suffers from severe allergies and asthma, and the conditions in the room made her symptoms significantly worse during our stay. We travel with a hypoallergenic service dog, and we were informed that we could only stay on the second floor because the other floors were designated as non-pet floors. Unfortunately, the second floor appeared to have the worst humidity issues in the hotel. The windows were constantly covered in condensation, and nearly everything in the room felt damp. The carpets were wet, the pillows felt damp, the sheets felt damp, and even the bathroom floor seemed perpetually wet. The excessive moisture created a very uncomfortable environment and raised concerns about air quality and potential mold issues. In addition, the room was poorly maintained. The lamps were covered in dust, and the bathroom door would not close properly. For a nationally recognized hotel brand, I expected a clean, comfortable, and properly maintained room. Instead, we experienced an uncomfortable stay that negatively impacted my wife's health. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially guests with allergies, asthma, or other respiratory conditions, until these issues are addressed.
