We had a wonderful stay. The staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. Hotel was great, would stay here again. Only complaint was that the pool was not heated and was freezing, by day 6 it had finally warmed up due to the beautiful weather we had.

Pool and hot tub were freezing! When we asked the front desk about it she goes they aren't working in a rude tone. Later called the room back to say a part was missing. Would have been nice to know before my son and I went to get in. Lady working the breakfast was amazing.

The hotel is very clean. The staff was wonderful! Friendly and considerate. We enjoyed staying here, located on the beach! Only drawback wasthat niether the pool or the hot tub worked. It was extremely cold. We were told that we could use both at the Hilton across the highway until they were fixed. The location and the beach totallymade up for the incany inconvenient.

The toilet did not properly flush and there was no vent in the bathroom. The tiny refrigerator was just barely cooler than the room and there was no microwave. There was not enough parking for all the guests. Some had to park in the lobby entrance area. The back parking lot was not lit and was difficult to navigate. The desk staff was very friendly and efficient. For the money spent we did not feel the property was as nice as we expected.

This is the best hotel to stay at in St. Augustine Beach. Staff is really nice and it's typically very clean and conveniently close to restaurants and shops. The only thing that needs improvement currently and this might be beyond their control but right now beach access is closed due to hurricane damage. Hopefully the city or hotel will address it soon. There was access down the adjacent side street however. Will definitely be back.

The location was great - right on the beach! The hotel posted that the beach access was closed due to Hurricane Nicole. However, you could use it but needed to be a mountain goat getting back up. The hotel was clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was good. Rooms were a bit tired and it would have been nice to have a microwave and a safe.

This place it is Not clean, needs renovation, the cleaning crew are very noisy early AM. And after paying $373 for one night they charge me separate $15 per PARKING. WILL NOT VISIT AGAIN...

The property was very clean and in such close proximity to the ocean. There were restaurants that served local cuisine, within walking distance, which was perfect for me. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!!

The location is great, it’s right on the beach which is mostly why I chose to book here. Lots of restaurants to choose from near by. However, for over $300 a night the beds are terrible! The mattress was so hard!! Pillows weren’t great either. Carpet was super dirty, leaving our feet almost black.

Everything was as expected for a Hampton inn with the exception of the odor in the room. We were on the ground floor with a patio and it smelled like the beach combined with body odor. Woke up with a stuffy nose and cough.

Our room smelled like dirty feet & the smell coming out of the air unit was bad. Housekeeping came in once in 7 days & switched out towels & made our bed. Never swept the floors or cleaned anything. Breakfast was good & great ladies working. I would not stay here ever again!

Ceilings in the hallways filthy and floors were sticky. Walk into our room and you immediately got a horrible smell of dampness covered with bleach. Once again sticky floor in the bathroom and shower had mold and mildew on the wall in certain spots. Glass Sliding door to balcony wouldn't lock and drywall and paint was coming off. And cant forget how noisy it was, other room doors slammed and it felt as if it was your room. No sleep and relaxation while we were there, unfortunately we couldnt find another hotel because all others were booked. Will not stay again or refer anyone else there, staff was accommodating but cant make up for everything else

The hotel had a weird odor, stale air and mold reminiscent. Our room smelled like wet dog, the AC was as loud as could be. The bathroom was not very clean. The breakfast was ok. The best part of the hotel was the reception desk staff, very friendly and helpful.

Room was comfortable and clean. The view was amazing. The internet had an issue so had to leave a day early unfortunately. Working remotely means we need to stay connected. So we lost a day stay .The front desk wasn’t able to fix the issue. Overall we enjoyed the stay. We had a beautiful room. The front desk clerk Vanessa so professional and very knowledgeable.

The hotel charge for the parking lot extra, this charge was not mentioned when I was booking. The towels provided for the pool were too small and old. The pillows was too soft and small and the bed wasn’t comfortable enough for sleeping. Overall the attention was good but attention to the details is needed.

Hampton beds are always comfortable and this was true here as well. Good service. Free breakfast good. Older hotel could use some updating. Only complaint is our room could not get wifi even after mentioning it to office. Also we were on ground floor and once in a while we’d get a sewer smell.

When we arrived, we were treated very nicely… After a day or two I asked the lady at the front desk about the chairs for the beach and then she informed me that yeah just as long as you bring them back… OK so the following day, I asked another lady at the desk about the chairs and then she informed me that there is a rental place that you can get them from. Also, I asked the maids for three soaps and I was informed I could only have two soaps and I was at your facility for five days not after me paying $2200 for this trip.

I called multiple times to let them know we would be arriving after midnight, but when we got there at 1 am the computer was down and we were not able to get into our room until almost 4 am. Myself and two kids sitting in the lobby and when finally assigned a room it was not what I booked and it was already occupied! The attendent said she would take a night off our stay, but since we pre-paid through Expedia there was no such deal so they did NOTHING for us. $266 for that night wasted, not worth booking with expedia at all since Hampton inn would not offer any type for refund

We had a few hiccups the first night but it was fixed by the next day. The fridge did not work but was replaced immediately. The second fridge did but work as well. This fridge was replaced and worked the rest of the week. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was always amazing. This is our 2nd stay here and would stay again.

THE MANAGER HERE IS AWFUL so rude and condescending. His name is Travis Dotson and I have never had an issue handled so unprofessionally before. The hotel is nice and clean, we had a nice beach balcony view (a few minor issues but not worth a bad review) but the BED was absolutely horrible. It was think and hard and lumpy and the fitted sheet and cover didn’t fit properly so they kept coming off exposing the mattress and bunching up. We’d tried to get through the night but around 230am decided we couldn’t sleep there and would rather get up and drive an hour home. Downstairs, the gentleman at the desk was super nice and apologized and said sometimes they do get that complaint. Called today to speak to Travis (mgr) who LAUGHED at my husband and called him “buddy” on the phone saying “that’s what you people do” meaning leave and want a refund. We asked for a partial refund or credit to a future stay when they resolved the problem. We were offered Hilton points at the end of the call. We got married at this hotel years ago. Stayed there and loved it. Will never stay there again. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY there are nicer places with much better customer service on the beach.

This was a last minute change in plans and the staff was extraordinary. Every worker in the hotel had such amazing kindness and were willing to go the extra step. DJ at the front desk made a very difficult evening much better with his willing to be so helpful and friendly. The lady in the breakfast area was also so accommodating and greeted every guest. This hotel runs well because it has great staff!

The only concern I had was during breakfast there is a sign to let them know for dietary restrictions (or something like that) I said I had a dairy allergy, which is fine, I know I can’t eat most baked goods or cheese omelet etc. Usually all other Hamptons or Hilton Hotela I’ve stayed at have had almond milk or oatmilk for cereal which I was surprised they didn’t have that for cereals or coffee. I even asked just in case, but no. No biggie. Great hotel!

Convenient beach access with chairs and umbrellas available for rent. Clean rooms, balcony with beach view on 4th floor (room 427), great staff especially Susan in the breakfast area and decent breakfast. Historic district is 15 minutes away driving or a cheap Uber ride but give yourself at least 30 minutes if you have reservations in historic district.

I enjoyed walks on the beach after eating the complimentary breakfast each morning. Even though the beach access behind the hotel was closed because of hurricane damage, the location is still great. I also slept well and the hotel was generally quiet and felt safe at night.

This hotel is so convenient that you have many dining options, shopping, safe to walk and right on the beach. The staff is very helpful, and amenities are superb. The hostess for the breakfast, Alicia, is excellent. Don't have to pay for parking like other hotels and you are close to the touristy sites.

We were happy with everything except the breakfast because they had omelettes which include cheese and we have a cheese allergy. There was not plain scrambled eggs which we have had before when staying at the Hampton Inn..Also we are non meat eaters so it would have been nice to have some turkey sausage. We only had carbs and no protein so.....something to consider. Thank you
