The hotel needs updating. The pool had leaves. I asked for a skimmer and they said it was broken. Why not go to Walmart and buy one? The spa also full of leaves while warm the jets did not work. TV was very small for the room. The room was adequate otherwise. Breakfast was fine.

Poorly maintained building- electricity was out for over 4 hours the first night we were there. Response from the person on staff was that it had recently happened and an electrician wasn’t called until 3 hours into the outage. Building generally seemed poorly maintained with the hot tub broken and beat up pool furniture. Breakfast options are pretty basic. No offer to adjust cost of stay due to power outages. Generally can rely on La Quinta to have decent facilities, but this one missed the mark.

Good breakfast, plenty of workspace. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was cold and no one seemed to know how to operate it. We had to wait a few minutes at the desk for pool towels. Otherwise, all was great!

This property is very close to bush gardens, i think it only took 3 mins to drive there. They offer free breakfast and also have a gym, pool and hot tub. Safe area with some food options near by.

Staff was awesome And the location was great. However, the hotel hallway carpets were disgusting, the vending machines on our floor were broken and clearly many did not adhere to the “non smoking” rule because our floor reeked of cigarette smoke. The workout room was bad. Whoever owns this hotel needs to do some serious remodeling. Housekeeping did their best but stained carpets can’t be fixed. Again, the staff is amazing and the location is great, but I will never stay there again

Well came to stay with family. They were not happy with the non cleaning of the floors in the hallways so they left on the second day. There was laundry in the hall that was there for 2 days and it looked like there was blood on the wall. This was all at the end by the elevator. The floors were still un-vacuumed. I’ve stayed at Hiltons for the same price and had a full breakfast. Meat, hot foods for the price I paid. The place is run down. The hot tub has not worked in months. My son stayed there a few months ago and said it was broke at his stay. I won’t stay there again.

The hotel was quite gross. The seemed fine, but the moment we stepped into the elevator (permit expired 2 years ago), we regretted our choice of hotel. The elevator was in poor conditions and filthy, the carpets in the hallway were excessively dirty and stained and there was an overwhelming scent of cheap air freshener to mask the smell. We were put in a non-smoking room that had obviously been smoked in for years; it smelled of stale cigarette and the curtains had burn marks and holes in them. Lamp shades were stained, the carpets were dirty and stained, there were handprints all over the mirrors; the shower didn’t seem to have been properly cleaned. Not at all what we were expecting for nearly $400 CAD for one night. Very disappointing.

carpet in the hotel was very dirty and moldy. you can see it hasn't Benn vacuum for while. food, dead bug were on the carpet. mold on the carpet was very obvious. front desk service was ok not great. I hope for sake of my family health I will not book this hotel ever again. room were decent. hotel give you soap which is smaller then traveler size. how can 3 adult clean them self with one tiny soap. terrible experience

Property was filthy! Sheets were dirty, floors were dirty and there were dead an alive bugs 2 found in bed! The water was either hot or Hades hot there was no in between. AC barely kept room cool no where near cold. Construction on our floor was loud and started early, workers blared their music with no thought to guests. Whole lobby smelled like marijuana which was being smoked in the courtyard with doors open and staff didn’t say anything! This was $400 wasted and a long weekend ruined.

The hallways and rooms had run down and dirty rugs. The room smelled like mold. The maids cleaned all the sheets, towels and surfaces well. The hotel is just not maintained and really smelled bad within the hallways and rooms because of mold I believe. The staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast was not just a continental breakfast but a full breakfast were there was a wide variety of food from waffles you could make, hard boiled eggs, cereal, bagels, fruit, muffins etc. and it was well stocked. It was the best part of the entire stay. I would not stay at this hotel again. The price was way to high and the smell of mold and extremely dirty rugs everywhere was unpleasant.

Floors in the room were filthy. The elevator floor was even dirty and had signs were stuff had been spilled that had not been mopped up or cleaned up. Commode seat was extremely loose. Bathroom floor with dirty. When they came in the room to make the bed they left the dirty wash clothes and towel in the bathroom.

This place is by far the worst and most disgusting place I have ever stayed in. After my first night I woke up with bed bug bites all over. I threw away all of my belongings incase any of those things got into my bags. I will never stay there again. I do not recommend anyone to stay there. This place should be closed down.

The only reason I gave one star was for the staff that checked us in. They were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself was beyond, dirty our bedsheets and comforters had stains on them and didn’t seem clean. Pur feet got stained black from walking around the room in less than 10 minutes. Do not stay here it smells like mold, feet and cigarette smoke. Look other places!

The hotel was dirty and run down from the entrance to the rooms to the pool. Breakfast was basic and the toaster didn’t work. The carpets were so badly dirty as was the pool. I’m not sure of our sheets had been changed as there was hair on the sheet when we pulled the blanket down. We wore shoes in our room even in the shower. Very unclean.

Terrible Experience - Extremely Dirty and Unsafe for Families I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham USF (Near Busch Gardens), and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the hotel was filthy and completely unacceptable. The carpet in both the room and the hallway was covered in stains, and to make matters worse, there were roaches crawling on the floor. The room was absolutely disgusting, with hair everywhere — on the sheets, in the bathroom, and on the floor. The most horrifying part of our stay was when my brother and niece witnessed and even recorded two people having sex in the hallway. This is completely inappropriate and unacceptable, especially considering that I was there with my three young kids. We felt unsafe and uncomfortable the entire time. We left the very next morning because none of us could stand another minute there. My sister couldn’t even sleep on the bed due to how dirty it was, but it was too late to go anywhere else that night. To top it all off, the hotel refused to refund me for the remaining two days of our stay. This was beyond frustrating given how uninhabitable the place was. I cannot believe that a hotel under the Wyndham brand would allow such poor conditions. This place was not only dirty, but clearly not properly managed or safe for families. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel at all costs.

Or shower was scalding hot-I was able to shower first with Luke warm water but my daughter could not it was scalding hot. Maintenance got it to an ok temperature for her but he left dirty foot prints on the floor. I considered asking to switch rooms but he said it should be good now, next morning we had to change rooms just to shower which was handled very quickly which I appreciated. But we should have been offered to change rooms the first time we had an issue as we were there two nights. Beds-our feet were higher than our heads which was not the best. Staff very nice. Condition of hotel is completely in need of maintenance and renovation. No working WiFi except in lobby. In current times that is an amenity that should be a non-issue for guest stay. Standard requirement. Shame on Hotel owner not to do upgrades to the property

Employees were helpful. Breakfast was good. The beds were super uncomfortable but I kind of expected that. The carpet in the room was filthy and the room smelled, very humid/musty. I don't think this is the fault of the cleaning ladies. The hotel needs to invest in new carpets. The carpets everywhere were filthy: in the room, the hall, the breakfast area, etc. The location was good, less than 10 min from Busch Gardens, but next time I will stay somewhere else.

Check in went smoothly. When we entered the room all seemed well. To sit on the bed the edges were very hard, the sheets were rough to the touch, and the bed was indented in the middle. The TV had a line that went through the middle. The refrigerator and the shower leaked all of the time.

We had to wait 20 minutes at the front desk to check-in because there was nobody. I even called at the reception and I was able to hear the phone rings for 15 minutes. Nobody picked up the phone. The breakfast was supposed to be between 6am and 9am. There was nothing before 7h30am. 1 hour and a half late. We felt like they really don't care.

I was late to check in and would not arrive basically until my first day expired. I called and they said there's nothing I can do about refunding the first day. When I arrive they said they gave my reservation away and I am a no-show. And they also charged me full price for the day I missed and then canceled my reservation. They could not provide me a room to stay. Everything in the area was booked so I had to sleep on my brother's friend's couch. They literally ruined my entire trip the guy who was the manager seemed to love not being able to help me and tried to blame everything on Expedia. I was so Furious it ruins my whole trip. When I called to say I was late they never told me anything about this policy and we were on the phone for several minutes. I I told them I am running late they never mentioned anything about canceling my room if I didn't show up. I was clear that I was arriving late and wanted the room. So they just screwed me over either because they are not professional or because they did it for their own enjoyment just screw me over and neither of those are acceptable. If you want your trip to be ruined then go to La Quinta

My experience here was amazing. I was in town with my disabled son for his surgery at a local hospital the following morning. I was distraught when we arrived, in tears, tired and frustrated with my own situation. The receptionist Cheyanna was so kind and helpful. She brought over Ms Karen, the hostess, and the two women prayed for my son and I. It was exactly what I needed at the time. I am so thankful for their compassion and love. It was extremely comforting to be treated like family by complete strangers. They gave us an extra blanket for my son's comfort and made us feel right at home. Sometimes it's not the facility, not the cleanliness, not the beds or the rooms that matter...but the heart and soul of the staff that make for an awesome experience. I'm forever grateful for their loving hospitality.

I wasn’t impressed and felt I was very overcharged for what I received. They were under construction and couldn't use the facilities downstairs. We were on the second floor and the carpet was absolutely disgusting. I was embarrassed that I picked that place to stay with my sister to go to my brothers funeral. Coming from Arizona and going to Florida I didn't know what I was getting. Just going by pictures and price range I sure thought it would be better than I had. I food for breakfast was the exact same every morning. Not good!!

Hotel decor is dated and could use an update, but the hotel is clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was limited (waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, muffins, bagels, yogurt, and juice) but it was good. Room was clean and nicely sized. It comes with a mini-fridge and microwave. TV has a lot of channels to watch. They give you mini Dove bar soaps, shampoo, and conditioner.

The outside building looked nice but the interior hasn’t been remodeled in 40 years. The walls, carpet and lighting were terrible. Only 1 elevator worked and the other was a long way on the other side of the building. My mattress was awful as well as the smell. The breakfast was very marginal.

Check in was fast and efficient. The property on the other hand, needs a lot of help. Carpeting in the hallways and in the room was stained and very worn. Room decor is from the 70’s. Breakfast options were waffles or waffles. Certainly not up to Wyndham standards.
