We loved this place! Beautiful property with a sandy beach and sitting area by the seawall. We had a 2 bedroom condo style with full kitchen, dishwasher, dishes, the total package. Our balcony overlooked the water and pool area. Loved the bar/restaurant attached to the pool. We could visit with friends while watching the kids in pool. Safe area in a quiet neighborhood with lots of parking. .

Description on hotels.com does not match what we got. Rooms were musty, pool smelled, Pier was falling apart and tapped off. Lots of smoking different things around the pool. Not kid friendly.

Liked the pool bar/restaurant. Menu was limited but food was reasonabky priced and good. Great view from room. Disappointed that you couldn't go in water at beach. Beautiful sunsets and enjoyed the fire pit and tiki torches. The gym equipment was disappointing. They played good music at the pool. Nice selection of things at little shop but did not have charcoal to use the grills.

Still trying to get things back to normal after the hurricanes. The only bad thing was the outdoor waterside patio is destroyed. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and plan on returning this year.

Spacious apartment with great views on the water. Great late check out opportunities. No laundry inside the apartment but outside ($2 per load). Outdated pool too small for such a big complex, and overcrowded. No gym, only some machines outside. Too hot to use or wet with the summer rain. Will not come back beside the beautiful views and location.

The room smelled terribly of mold and damp. The carpets were stained, random personal items of previous guests in cupboards, with dirty towels. Sofa bed wasn’t made up for our children, when we asked for it to be made up, a fitted sheet was left on the couch whilst we were out. No idea how this place has a 8.4 rating on Hotels.com. Don’t get me wrong, with the location and outdoor space like the beach seating, it could be great - but it’s not.

Old building, when I opened my room’s door I immediately smelled a bad smell from the carpets, The view from my bed was beautiful, a clean bathroom, when I took some silverware to make a sandwich they were very dirty.

After reading many positive reviews, I booked a one bedroom suite for me and my 2 children. The room had a noticeable odor. I believe it was the carpet, as there were 5 or more big stains near the front door that looked like it could be pet urine. The bathroom floor was dirty and bathtub peeling paint. The kitchen was old and felt nasty. My son had trouble sleeping on the pull out couch, which obviously needs a new mattress because you could feel the pole from under the mattress easily. We had a beautiful view out the balcony window, but the sliding glass door was dirty and so was the balcony. The chairs inside the unit were all scratched up and need replacing or just simply painted. I felt like I was staying in a one star hotel with the general feeling of disgustingness and not even wanting to step on the floor in my socks or bare feet. The pool was OK, but the chairs felt sticky and dirty and it was not apparent where the pool towels were because there were no signs indicating, but once we found where the towels were, it was obvious the towels are very very old. We did enjoy the live music. The guy was very talented on the guitar and the steel drum. The bartender was very helpful and nice. However, the employee at the front desk did the very minimal to inform us about anything at the property. They do have a cute little beach area set up, but there are cigarette butts in the sand and chairs were dirty. NOT worth the money and will not stay there again.

The size of the suites were really spacious! The property was a bit run down. The room has not been thoroughly cleaned. We were there a week and no housekeeping was done. I had to ask the front desk for more toiletries and a broom to clean the room. Two large bugs (looked like cockroaches) were found in our room. We were told management would check the room but they never did. The front desk did give us a little money back for the bugs.

When I arrived at 3:53 my room wasn’t ready it didn’t become ready until 4:40. When we got inside the room it smelled like dogs I’m glad I bought some febreze fabric spray. After opening all of the windows and airing out the unit it was ok but then I found a dead roach in one of the bathrooms and a dead fly on the end table in the living room.This is my go to when I wanna get away I have booked here plenty of times and have never experienced this before.

The elevator is extremely hot and slow. Young man at check in was nice. Room was dirty and had an odor. We had to buy air freshener. All furniture was dated and very uncomfortable and had an odor as well. The bed was so uncomfortable we didn’t get much sleep. There was food crumbs behind the bathroom door. Dirt throughout the rooms. I bought cleaning supplies And cleaned myself. Not a fan of having to go to the office to get towels and wash clothes everyday because we were told housekeeping doesn’t come until you check out. This place has definitely went down since the last time we stayed there. In desperate need of updates. One night had to call front desk for security because people were yelling and fighting down the hall. The balcony and view was probably the best thing there.

My son and I book this place for his surprise proposal to his girlfriend. This place is NOT xlean as the pictures and other revoews say. The shower head look lime it has NEVER been clean, we foungld pubic hairs in some of the towels. The tub is cracking and a coat of paint would not hurt the place. I will not recommend.

The layout and room itself was fine, there is a kitchen and a balcony. Our biggest problem was noise. The walls are very thin, you can hear every step being taken by your neighbors next to you and especially above you. There’s a little beach across the bay where people party all night long and blast music, it really carries across the water. We couldn’t sleep during our stay. Also fair warning about the smell during low tide. I’m from Florida so I’m familiar with this, but for tourists looking for a romantic getaway, just know it smells like dead fish and rotten eggs being baked by the sun, for a good portion of every day.

Room was clean and had a nice kitchen and good view. Room had a lot of storage and would have been good for long term stay. Room smelled strongly of mildew which lessened by the second day but was still there. Smelled like weed the following day. Outdoors on balcony and in immediate surroundings there was a strong sewage smell. Breakfast not available until 8:30 am so don't plan on eating at hotel if you are an early riser unless you make it in your room. Very close to some nice restaurants and in close proximity to the Tampa Airport. Hotel also has plenty of parking. All in all it was an okay stay but probably would not revisit.

Requested new towels and they had none to offer. Asked for extra toilet paper and trash bags. Called the front desk said they would deliver it but never did. We called the next day and they said we had to come down to the front desk to get the items.

The customer service was terrible no one can do anything to help guests except the manager Damien who was very rude. We checked in and had to leave to an event so we did not see the state of things till we returned later after the manager had left and he did not return to work the remainder of our stay. The room was very dirty and in need of repairs. Everything from the dirty napkins under the bathroom sink to the chipped bathtub to the stains on all the furniture and curtains, the dirty floors, the broken lamp, the missing curtains the stained peeling walls, the broken unsafe balcony, the out of order elevator and amenities damaged after the hurricanes, lawn maintenance all morning, to the fire alarm system people knocking to wake us up to test the alarm in the room to end our stay. It was a nightmare! I would never stay here again or recommend this hotel with all the other great options in Tampa.

I recently stayed here during a business trip, choosing the hotel for its convenient proximity to my office. I understand that the property is still undergoing renovations following Hurricane Milto, which is understandable. However, my arrival experience was less than ideal. There was no security guard present, and my Uber driver had to circle around repeatedly before we realized the main entrance was located on the second floor. Clear signage would have been helpful. While searching for an elevator sign, I fortunately encountered an employee (whose name I regret not noting) who kindly escorted me to the functioning elevator. Her assistance was much appreciated. At check-in, the service was disappointing. The staff member who helped me didn’t inquire whether it was my first time staying there or provide any basic information, such as dining options. The lack of courtesy left a negative impression.

We had a wonderful time at Sailport Inn! Michelle and Alejandro were fantastic, from check in to accomodating our requests. We can’t wait to go back next year!

We were in Tampa for a quick stay and this property was perfect. Near the airport and highways to go any direction. The pool was heated, but the weather a bit chilly to use. The bar-restaurant was a real plus.

Property and vibe is great for peace and quiet. On site restaurant is nice. Our hotel needed new carpet and a firmer bed, but our stay was a great experience. Very close to zoo, Florida aquarium, Clearwater aquarium, restaurants and beaches, it’s very nicely located. Thank you.

I thought the room was nice the view was ok the elevator was horrible very slow sometimes didn’t move at all , out refrigerator leaked but told front desk and they were looking into it wasn’t a bad place but for the price could have been nicer

The oceanfront views are beautiful and outdoor accomodations are great! My room was very large and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sunset and fire pit on the beach at night. The poolside bar and restaurant were fantastic and all the staff on the property were courteous and professional. I will vacation here again.

We really liked the view! Nice clean rooms and an in house store if you need anything. The Bamboo restaurant was a nice touch too. We called in and picked up our food and took it to our room! I would highly recommend!
