The elevator was broken the entire three night stay i had to walk down 4 flights of stairs numerous times a day ending up in a fall in the hot a l lobby causing my knee to be hurt. Noone gas fiĺowed up or reached out nighttime staff rude and lazy

Room was nice but had a funny smell to it. Breakfast was decent but a lot of options and the waffle makers was great. Pool was great but needed a little cleaning. Only real disappointment was the hot tub. The jets didnt work except for 1 and the max temp says 104 but wasnt more than maybe 70 degrees. The pool was warmer. Great quick stay for a great price.

I liked how it was conveniently located in Tampa and that it was in the back of the parking lot so it wasnt on the main busy road. Nice staff and helpful. Had a pond with walking path behind it which was nice to walk and see nature in the city! The path bricks were dangerous cause not perfectly flat and had to be careful not to trip in some areas. Lots of dead trees and damaged from storms so i do believe they should clean up the landscaping in the back of the hotel. Other then that i enjoyed my 3 night stay. Thank you

The rooms were worn out. The Keys had to be changed out several times. Several homeless were in and out of the building. Sleeping behind it as well as using the bathroom an using the guest laundry. Only one working ice machine

Great location for football games or concerts at the stadium . Hotel offers free breakfast , eggs and sauce and gravy with a waffle maker . Decent pop area next to a lake for relax time . Hotel is nothing fancy but perfect for a quick stay with friends .

We picked this hotel due to the proximity of the George Steinbrenner field. It was within a 10 minute walking distance. Super convenient. The room was clean. The lobby was super clean and inviting The pool on the other hand was pretty dirty. There was a lot of hair floating around and lots of leaves and dirt. The hot tub was the same way. Other than that it was a great stay. The breakfast was good too.

Great location, great breakfast, comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff. Entire hotel just needs a facelift. We were a bit bummed that the hit tub wasn't turned on and was cold while we stayed. Otherwise a decent hotel.

The hotel was ok. Our keys didn't work for our room. Had to get a second set. They worked for a little bit but then stopped working. Went to use the elevator at one point and the door wouldn't close. After a few minutes of trying to get it to close we stepped out of the elevator and then it started to close so we got back in and then it wouldn't close again. We then got off to use the other elevator. The bed sheets felt a little wet, I'm thinking from humidity. Lastly, the shower was not great. The running water would get hot enough but when you turned it to shower mode it would just be warm. Having long hair, you get very cold when you can't stand under a hot enough shower. I constantly had to switch back and forth from shower mode to faucet mode. Only stayed one night so not worth complaining to staff about.

The room smelled like mold. There was mold on the window curtains. The floor has sticky spots on it. The cleaning service did not come in to clean, Make the beds or restock the towels for all 4 days of our stay in the hotel. It was only me and my 2 children for the stay. The hallways smelled like garbage and when we walked past a few different rooms we could clearly smell Marijuana and we did not like that at all, especially with both my small children with me. Neighbors were very loud as well as the rooms not having good sound quality. There was quite a bit of banging on the walls. Pool parties lastijg until 1am, it made it quite hard for us to get to sleep with our room facing the middle of the pool. Over all we did not particularly emjoy our stay, we assumed the quality of the hotel and staff would be better. We will not return to this hotel again.

I had the worst experience in years of traveling, I got bitten by bedbugs (I took a video) went to the front desk at 1:30 and the attendant was the security guy who with no empathy changed us the room, no first aid kit for something to relieve the pain and itching. Besides dirty sheets dirty mattresses, carpet smells horrible, but the girls at housekeeping did the best to make us feel confortable because due to work scheduled meetings couldn’t transfer hotels, the breakfast is very limited with days of no eggs but it was ok .

There was a gross smell throughout the entire building. My room wasnt clean and it smelled terrible. I didnt even use the sheets. I went and got my own to put over the bed. There was so many issues with the rooms, the smell, the lack of cleanliness, the two room changes, the cigarette burns in the comforter and the blood on my sheets. I don’t understand, clean isn’t difficult.

Staff were lovely and really friendly. Sadly the room smell was awful, smelt damp and the AC unit was filthy. The grubby net curtain covered a broken window glued up. Cockroaches were in the bathroom coming out from the toilet fittings.

After checking in, first room had to be changed out. Second room was not acceptable due to black mold in the bathroom, shower and ceiling. Three more rooms were shown and issues with each of them, but the third was the lesser of the three evils. As we had spent a lot of money for football tickets For the next day, we opted to continue with our stay since there was no available hotels in the area with rooms. I found black mold under the bathroom vanity after I had to pick up an object that fell to the floor. There was also ceiling and water damage above the bed Pictures were shown to the front desk for this. This hotel needs to be closed and completely renovated before anyone else is allowed to stay there. My Son and I both had sore throats, headache, headaches, and nasal burning from the condition of the room. The hotel has a musty smell from the second. You walk in the door and the rooms are no better. Needless to say after the condition of the rooms we opted not to eat due to not knowing what’s happening behind closed doors since what you could see was not very good.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly. The room was nice. Nice bed, and a chair and couch to sit at. The bathtub, shower did not drain well. The water was at my ankles by the time my shower was over. The hot water was impossible to regulate. It was either too hot or too cold. Could not find a happy balance. Only ate breakfast one day. Cold eggs and no meat. Had a waffle maker. Two nights in a row my room keys did not work. I was on the 4th floor and had to go. Had to back down and get my key redone. Wi fi was weak and had to sign back in each day. It was quiet though.

So for the price per night you really cant ask for much, i guess. Its centrally located to Raymond James, the interstate, downtown area, etc. The front desk staff was pleasant and checked us in without any problems. The room smelled of mold/mildew and there was an area on the ceiling that looked like there could have been a leak at some point. Breakfast was a "hot breakfast" but a lot of food was empty or really over cooked. If you're looking for a place for the night on the cheap, i say go for it but more than one night im gonna be a no on that one.

Overall, for the purpose of our stay - seeing a concert at Raymond James stadium - it wasn’t terrible - it wasn’t great either, It’s a discount hotel with very few amenities, but it was clean, for the most part, and you could tell they’re trying for who they are and what they have. Towels are small and scratchy, pillows are few and cheap, but the bed was comfortable, the AC and TV worked well, and the water got hot. The staff was friendly, for the most part - the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and explained our rate - hotel direct vs Expedia. The breakfast ends at 9:59 am, so don’t be late, and don’t ask to “get something real quick” at 10:00 - it’s not happening. Their pool was actually very nice for a discount hotel, but bring a cooler (it’s allowed and they have ice) and bring some beach towels, as they provide pool towels but they’re the size of kitchen hand towels, older and scratchy. Look, for $200+/- (price during a concert) it’s not bad and it’s very convenient. I’d stay there again, but only if going to an event at the stadium.

The staff was friendly, for the most part - the gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and explained our rate - hotel direct vs Expedia. The breakfast ends at 9:59 am, so don’t be late, and don’t ask to “get something real quick” at 10:00 - it’s not happening. Their pool was actually very nice for a discount hotel, but bring a cooler (it’s allowed and they have ice) and bring some beach towels, as they provide pool towels but they’re the size of kitchen hand towels, older and scratchy. Look, for $200+/- (price during a concert) it’s not bad and it’s very convenient. I’d stay there again, but only if going to an event at the stadium.

The hotel overall was just ok. Definitely needs to be updated. The room smelled like mold. No amount of room spray could fix it. The mattress on the bed was hard and uncomfortable. There is no full size mirror in the rooms which isn’t good if you need to look at your whole outfit. Definitely will be my first and last time staying at this hotel.

Room was very damp. AC unit was extremely noisy. Shower would not get hot. There was only a sheet cover on the window. No sun shade. So after 2 very long nights at concerts, the sun was right in our faces bright and early. While the staff was very friendly, I had to go to the desk and pick up my clean towel on the last night of 3 after calling twice and not getting them. The hotel was ok. Our keys didn't work for our room. Had to get a second set. They worked for a little bit but then stopped working. Went to use the elevator at one point and the door wouldn't close. After a few minutes of trying to get it to close we stepped out of the elevator and then it started to close so we got back in and then it wouldn't close again. We then got off to use the other elevator. The bed sheets felt a little wet, I'm thinking from humidity. Lastly, the shower was not great. The running water would get hot enough but when you turned it to shower mode it would just be warm. Having long hair, you get very cold when you can't stand under a hot enough shower. I constantly had to switch back and forth from shower mode to faucet mode. Only stayed one night so not worth complaining to staff about.

I booked and prepaid my stay through Hotels.com for $102.00 for one night, with only a $3 fee due at check-in. When I arrived at 9 PM, the front desk was empty. I am so grateful for the gentleman that checked me in Saturday evening!! This was the best customer service experience and I left my phone at the front desk and he made sure to deliver it before I even knew it was missing!! Such a relief to be at an honest establishment, with nice cold, clean rooms!! The housekeeping staff deserve an award! I truly appreciated how clean everything was! The hotel could use some updating in certain areas but the customer service, housekeeping, property views by the pool (pretty exotic birds) just made this a great spot in Tampa! Please keep up the great hospitality and huge hugs to housekeeping m! not many hotels get this part right but country inn (those I’ve visited) have the best housekeeping teams; housekeeping teams are the all-stars of hotels! We had a very pleasant stay. The staff was friendly, kind, and very helpful. The young woman at the front desk checked in with us to ask if our rooms were good and if there was anything she could do to make it better. We had two rooms and both were very clean and the beds were comfortable.

Jennifer was an absolute gem during our entire stay! We have already made plans to come back next year and stay at this hotel because of how wonderful she was. The breakfast was your typical continental but was available until 10am, checkout was 12pm so that was nice and the pool is great because it gets plenty of sun.

Very conveniently located. Short walk (approx. 10-15 min) to RJS. The free breakfast was pretty good. There was a sandwich shop in the front plaza that was pretty good, there are some stores/restaurants on the other side of RJS (a little further walking distance maybe 25-30ish minutes). Traffic in and out was pretty easy to navigate. It is an older hotel that was renovated so it does have its flaws, our room had a musty smell to it. Other that that everything was clean. The staff was super nice and welcoming.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very friendly. The room was nice. Nice bed, and a chair and couch to sit at. The bathtub, shower did not drain well. The water was at my ankles by the time my shower was over. The hot water was impossible to regulate. It was either too hot or too cold. Could not find a happy balance. Only ate breakfast one day. Cold eggs and no meat. Had a waffle maker. Two nights in a row my room keys did not work. I was on the 4th floor and had to go. Had to back down and get my key redone. Wi fi was weak and had to sign back in each day. It was quiet though.

While we did not use the pool, it did appear clean, but had a few kids being well... kids. Breakfast was very simple, eggs, sausage, and waffles, but only one waffle maker so you had to wait awhile. Property was clean, room was clean, bed wasn't the worst one we've had, but it worked for the one night. Will certainly rethink staying here again.

Our room was next to a balcony that overlooked the lobby so we could hear every bit of what was happening in the lobby at all hours, even the employees chit chatting and laughing. Not eggs with an option of potatoes, just eggs inconveniently mixed with loads of potatoes. Made no sense. Would not stay again.

We picked this hotel due to the proximity of the George Steinbrenner field. It was within a 10 minute walking distance. Super convenient. The room was clean. The lobby was super clean and inviting The pool on the other hand was pretty dirty. There was a lot of hair floating around and lots of leaves and dirt. The hot tub was the same way. Other than that it was a great stay. The breakfast was good too.

It was a Sunday morning for their free breakfast and supplies of food were limited and took quite a long time to be replaced, even including the coffee.
